An excavator including a lower traveling body; an upper turning body turnably mounted to the lower traveling body; a work attachment attached to the upper turning body; an imaging device mounted to the upper turning body; a hydraulic actuator; a hydraulic pump configured to supply hydraulic oil to the hydraulic actuator; an electric motor configured to drive the hydraulic pump; an operation device of an electric type configured to operate the hydraulic actuator; and a control device configured to control the electric motor, wherein in response to determining that the operation device is not operated, the control device causes the hydraulic pump to automatically stop, and subsequently, in response to determining that an operation with respect to the operation device is started, the control device causes the hydraulic pump to be automatically activated.

Construction machine

A low idling controller (26A) switches an idling state flag from “clear” to “set” upon detecting a non-operation of an operating device (14). A rotational speed controller (26B) switches a rotational speed command from a set rotational speed by a rotational speed command device (27) to a low idling rotational speed based upon the idling state flag. At this time, an engine (8) drives in the low idling rotational speed lower than the set rotational speed. A gate controller (24) stops switching of an inverter (23) while the low idling controller (26A) is lowering a rotational speed of the engine (8).

REGENERATION SYSTEM AND METHOD OF ENERGY RELEASED FROM WORKING IMPLEMENT

An embodiment of the present invention provides a regeneration system of energy released from a working implement, which includes an actuator configured to move up and down the working implement, an accumulator configured to communicate with the actuator, and a controller configured to receive a pressure value of the actuator and a pressure value of the accumulator to control a discharge operation of the accumulator based on a pressure difference value between the actuator and the accumulator.

WORK MACHINE

The present invention relates to a work machine having a fuel cell drive comprising a fuel cell and determination means for determining the load demand of the fuel cell, wherein the work machine has a plurality of electrical consumers that are directly or indirectly connected to the fuel cell for the purpose of obtaining electrical energy, wherein the determination means are configured such that the power requirements of at least two of the electrical consumers enter into the determination of the load demand of the fuel cell.

TIP OVER ENGINE LOCKOUT SYSTEM
20230279830 · 2023-09-07 ·

A system for preventing an engine included in a work machine from restarting, after the work machine is tipped over. A sensor included in the work machine is configured to detect a tipping incident. If a tipping incident is detected, the sensor sends out a signal configured to shut down the engine and a tilt signal configured to prevent the engine from restarting. The engine is only restarted if certain steps are undertaken by an operator and a reset switch is activated.

A control device for a power machine can be configured to select any of a plurality power management modes that define corresponding one or more operational parameters for routing of power from an electrical power source of the power machine to one or more electrical actuators of the power machine. The control device can control routing of power from the electrical power source to the plurality of electrical actuators according to the selected power management mode.

Storage assembly for battery energizing switches of electric machines

A storage assembly for switches couplable to batteries of an electric machine to energize the batteries. The storage assembly includes a container defining a cavity to store the switches, a lid movable between a closed state and an open state with respect to the container to respectively close and open the cavity, and a lock out tag out (LOTO) device. The container is configured to be grasped between a pair of arms of a handrail that swings with respect to a walkway platform of a power compartment of the electric machine. The LOTO device is interchangeable with the switches to selectively be received in the cavity in place of the switches when the switches are coupled to the batteries, and be coupled to the batteries in place of the switches to lock out and keep the batteries from energizing when the switches are received in the cavity.

ELECTRIC WORK MACHINE

An excavator comprising: an electric motor having a commercial power supply and a battery as the drive power sources therefor; and a hydraulic actuator having a hydraulic pump driven by the electric motor, as the hydraulic source therefor. The excavator has: a first power supply mode in which the electric motor is driven while the battery is being charged by the commercial power supply; and a second power supply mode in which the electric motor is driven only by the battery. A power supply cable for supplying power from the commercial power supply is connected to a power supply port and, if the electric motor has stopped operating, the excavator moves from the second power supply mode to the first power supply mode.
