A work machine including a prime mover, an electric motor, an electric motor fluid circuit, a transmission fluid circuit, a hydraulic circuit, a cooling circuit, a pump, and a controller. The electric motor may supply a portion of power of the prime mover. The electric motor fluid circuit may be adapted to remove waste heat from the electric motor. The transmission fluid circuit may be adapted to lubricate a moving part of a transmission powered by the prime mover. The hydraulic circuit may be adapted to transmit power from the prime mover to a moving component of the work machine. The cooling circuit may be absorbing waste heat from one or more of the electric motor fluid circuit, the transmission fluid circuit, and the hydraulic circuit. The control may be adapted to control diversion of a portion of waste heat from the cooling circuit to a portion of the cab.

Hydraulic drive system for work machine

A hydraulic drive system for a work machine including a hydraulic energy recovery device that is configured to perform load sensing control and accumulates hydraulic fluid that returns from a hydraulic cylinder in operation of lowering a front work implement into an accumulator includes, in order to prevent, when operation other than operation of lowering the front work implement is to be performed, hydraulic energy accumulated in the accumulator from being consumed uselessly, a regeneration selector valve in a hydraulic line for regenerating the hydraulic fluid accumulated in the accumulator into a hydraulic fluid supply line of a main pump. The regeneration selector valve is controlled such that, only when saturation occurs with the main pump, flow from the accumulator to the hydraulic fluid supply line is permitted.

An excavator includes a hydraulic oil holding circuit that is provided in an oil passage between a bottom-side oil chamber of a boom cylinder and a control valve and is closed when the boom is not lowered, and a controller. The controller releases a closed state of the hydraulic oil holding circuit when the excavator is in a predetermined unstable state, and controls a released state so that an acting velocity in a lowering direction of the boom becomes less than or equal to a predetermined reference.

TRACK SPEED COMPENSATION FOR ENGINE SPEED DROOP

A system and method for compensating reduced track speed because of engine droop for a work machine is disclosed. The system may comprise a frame, an attachment coupled to the frame, a ground-engaging mechanism adapted to support the frame, an engine, a motor, a track speed sensor, an engine speed sensor, and a controller. The engine may drive the ground-engaging mechanism and attachment. The engine may be coupled through a variable speed transmission to the ground-engaging mechanism and the attachment. They variable speed transmission may include a hydrostatic circuit. The controller may be adapted to send an increased transmission command signal based on a drop in the engine speed signal when the work machine engages an increased load. The increased transmission command signal may increase a motor speed to cause an increase in track speed to compensate at least a portion of the reduced track speed from the engine speed droop.

Construction machine

A construction machine includes a hydraulic actuator and a processor. The processor is configured to detect a predetermined object present within a predetermined area around the construction machine, impose a motion restriction on the construction machine by decreasing the flow rate of hydraulic oil supplied to the hydraulic actuator, in response to detection of the object present within the predetermined area, and relax or cancel the motion restriction by increasing the flow rate to a level lower than before a start of the motion restriction or a level substantially same as before the start of the motion restriction, in response to a predetermined operation for relaxing or canceling the motion restriction being performed or in response to the object being no longer detected within the predetermined area, after the start of the motion restriction.

Loader arm connection assembly for compact utility loader

A compact utility loader compact utility loader comprising a frame and a loader arm configured in a vertical-lift configuration. The compact utility loader additionally comprises a link pivotably secured to the loader arm and to the frame, and an actuator pivotably secured to the loader arm and to the frame. The compact utility loader further comprises a track assembly configured to maintain the loader arm in direct attachment to the frame.

Work machine measurement system, work machine, and measuring method for work machine

A work machine measurement system includes an image acquisition unit that acquires an image of a work target captured, while a swinging body of a work machine is swinging, by an image capturing device mounted on the swinging body, a three-dimensional position calculation unit that calculates a three-dimensional position of the work target based on the image, a swing data acquisition unit that acquires swing data about the swinging body, a determination unit that determines whether or not the swing data satisfies a predefined swinging condition and an output unit that outputs a swinging instruction signal based on a result of the determination by the determination unit.
