Faucet Assembly With Integrated Anti-Scald Device
Improved fluid supply assemblies for fluid systems are provided. In exemplary embodiments, the present disclosure provides for improved fluid supply assemblies and related features, systems and methods of use. More particularly, the present disclosure provides for advantageous faucet assemblies (e.g., electrically or mechanically actuated faucet assemblies) having an integrated anti-scald device and having an integrated temperature mixing valve. The present disclosure provides for a faucet assembly having an integrated temperature mixing valve, and/or having an integrated anti-scald device configured to stop the inlet flow of hot water in the event the mixed outlet water temperature exceeds a user-selected set point. Advantageous faucet assemblies of the present disclosure can prevent scalding as defined by ASST; 1070, Improved, convenient and effective systems and methods for utilizing improved faucet assemblies in fluid systems are provided.
FAUCET INCLUDING CAPACITIVE SENSORS FOR HANDS FREE FLUID FLOW CONTROL
A faucet comprises a spout, a passageway that conducts water flow through the spout, and an electrically operable valve disposed within the passageway. A first capacitive sensor has a first detection field that generates a first output signal upon detection of a user's hands in the first detection field, and a second capacitive sensor has a second detection field that generates a second output signal upon detection of a user's hands in the second detection field. A controller is coupled to the first and second capacitive sensors and the electrically operable valve. The controller is programmed to actuate the electrically operable valve in response to detecting the user's hands in the first detection field and not in the second detection field for a predetermined period of time surrounding the detection of the user's hands in the first detection field.
MIXER TAP
A mixer tap comprises a hollow tap body (10) made of a plastic material, a mixing cartridge (30) housed in a cartridge seat (32) made in the tap body, a cartridge support base plate (60), housed in a base plate seat (62) made in the tap body under the seat cartridge, a control cartridge seat (40) operationally connected to the mixing cartridge (30), and a water outlet tube (80) which extends from a side opening (24) of the tap body (10). The tap further comprises a shell casing (90) comprising a body portion (92) which covers the tap body (10) and a tube portion(94) which covers the water outlet tube (80).
Sanitary fitting
A sanitary fitting having at least one first actuating element, in particular for setting the temperature and/or volume of mixed water, and having at least one second actuating element for setting the volume of hot water. In order to set the volume of hot water, a valve element, in particular a solenoid valve, which is electrically controllable by the second actuating element, is arranged in the hot water flow path.
Cartridge for electronic tap with a handle having an extended operative range of motion, electronic tape including same, and the operation method thereof
The present invention relates to a cartridge for an electronic tap having a handle or controller with an extended operative range of motion, which allows moving said handle or controller beyond its normal range of motion determined by a first stop, providing in said extended areas additional functionalities using a control system that determines the position of the handle in order to associate to said position a flow value, a fluid mixing ratio value, and/or an additional functionality. The invention also relates to the tap including said cartridge with a handle having an extended operative range of motion and to the operation method thereof.
GROUP FOR MIXING WATER FOR BATHROOM OR KITCHEN
A flush-mounted group for mixing water for a bathroom or kitchen, comprising: a body comprising a valve, designed to be installed in a seat having a given depth with respect a finished surface, a fastening means for fixing the body to the seat, which is adjustable on the body to set the depth at which the body is inset inside the seat, a plate mountable on the finished surface to enclose the body inside the seat and which is provided with an opening for accessing the body, a control member for operating the valve, which is connected to the valve through the opening of the plate. The mixing group comprises a coupling means for connecting together the valve and the control member, which can be adjusted so as to vary a distance between the control member and the valve and ensure correct positioning of the control member inside the opening.
OUTLET DEVICE WITH ELECTRONIC OUTLET AND MECHANICAL OUTLET TWO MODES
An outlet device includes an electronic outlet and mechanical outlet two modes. The outlet device has a mechanical outlet control device, an electronic outlet control device and a central control module; the central control module comprises a first outlet passage controlled by the mechanical outlet control device, a second outlet passage controlled by the electronic outlet control device and a central controller; the first outlet passage is disposed with a sensor, the second outlet passage is disposed with an electromagnet valve; when the mechanical outlet control device controls the first outlet passage to open, the sensor detects water flowing in the first outlet passage, whether the electromagnet valve opens or not, the central controller switches the electromagnet valve to normal close state.
Faucets Incorporating Valves and Sensors
A hybrid faucet system can include one or more sensors and manual controllers. For example, a faucet system can include a first infrared sensor configured to communicate with processing electronics to initiate a first operating mode of a hybrid faucet responsive to detecting a first activation motion for a first time period. The system can include a first manual controller configured to control a flow rate of hot water into the hybrid faucet system. In some embodiments, the system includes a second manual controller configured to control a flow rate of cold water into the hybrid faucet system.
Electronic Faucet With Spatial Orientation Control System
A faucet is provided that electronically controls the flow volume and temperature of water being dispensed. The faucet illustratively includes a faucet body and a faucet handle. The faucet illustratively includes an inertial motion unit sensor mounted in the faucet handle to sense spatial orientation of the faucet handle. The faucet illustratively includes an electronic flow control system to adjust flow volume and temperature of water being dispensed. The faucet illustratively includes a controller configured to receive signals from the inertial motion unit sensor and control the electronic flow control system to adjust flow volume and temperature of water being dispensed based upon the position of the faucet handle.
Transverse handle assembly for a valve
A handle assembly configured to control water flow through a faucet valve. The handle assembly includes an output shaft rotatable about a first axis and configured to be operatively coupled to the valve; an input shaft rotatable about a second axis that is configured substantially transverse to the first axis, the input shaft configured to engage the output shaft to rotate the output shaft upon rotation of the input shaft; a handle coupled to the input shaft and configured to rotate the input shaft upon rotation of the handle about the second axis; and a saddle interconnecting the input shaft and the output shaft. The saddle includes a body having a channel that supports one of the input shaft and the output shaft, and a post extending away from the body and engaging an opening in the other of the input shaft and the output shaft.
