A wash basin (2) includes a bowl unit (4) and a skirt (6) that supports the bowl unit. The bowl unit (2) is made mainly or entirely of metal and the skirt (6) is made mainly or entirely of a moulded thermoplastic material. The skirt (6) includes a peripheral rim (28) that is located beneath an edge portion (29) of the bowl unit to support that bowl unit, and the bowl unit (4) and the skirt (6) are bonded together.

A fastening system for the fastening of a sanitary article comprising a carrier element, at least one upper stop portion which lies on the carrier element and which strikes against an upper stop of the sanitary article, at least one lower stop portion which lies on the carrier element and which strikes against a lower stop of the sanitary article, and at least one clamping element. At least one of the stop portions is mounted on the carrier element so as to be displaceable with respect to the carrier element, and is connected to the at least one clamping element in such a way that, as a result of actuation of the clamping element, the stop portion can be displaced in a direction of actuation such that the two stop portions can be braced between the two stops of the sanitary article.

A fastening system for the fastening of a sanitary article comprising a carrier element, at least one upper stop portion which lies on the carrier element and which strikes against an upper stop of the sanitary article, at least one lower stop portion which lies on the carrier element and which strikes against a lower stop of the sanitary article, and at least one clamping element. At least one of the stop portions is mounted on the carrier element so as to be displaceable with respect to the carrier element, and is connected to the at least one clamping element in such a way that, as a result of actuation of the clamping element, the stop portion can be displaced in a direction of actuation such that the two stop portions can be braced between the two stops of the sanitary article.

The present invention relates to a stabilizer support 10 and a method of using the stabilizer support 10 to support a laterally unsupported surface 100. The stabilizer support 10 has a longitudinally extending rigid beam 20, a clip 30, and a foot plate 40. The beam 20 has a longitudinal length 21, a longitudinal first end 22, and a longitudinal second end 23. The beam 20 is marked at graded intervals 50 along its longitudinal length 21. The clip 30 is configured and arranged to engage the first longitudinal end 22 of the beam 20 and the foot plate 30 is configured and arranged to engage the second longitudinal end 23 of the beam 20.

Methods, systems, and hardware suitable for mounting a sink to a mounting structure. A mounting device for use in such methods and systems secures or supports a wall-mounted sink to a mounting structure at or adjacent an upper extremity of the sink and/or at a faucet-mounting hole of the sink.

A hand washing station may include a basin assembly having a basin with a drain and a rear wall at a rear of the basin and extending upward from a bottom to a top of the basin, and at least one spout for a water dispenser, a soap dispenser, and/or a hand dryer. The spout(s) may be fixed to the rear wall and extend from the rear wall, and may use a combination of fixed and removable fasteners for such fixing. An arrangement for use with a washbasin. The arrangement includes a mounting box configured to fasten to a wall or to a mounting frame. The mounting box includes connections for water supply and water drain and fasteners configured to fasten to the mounting box for mounting the washbasin to the wall or mounting frame. The arrangement further includes holding and guide elements configured to hold the washbasin while mounting the washbasin to the mounting box. The holding and guide elements comprise at least two drawer slides each having a fixed part and a moveable part. The fixed part is fixedly connected to the mounting box. The moveable part is configured to directly connect to the washbasin within a recess that is defined by the washbasin and disposed on a backside of the washbasin. The moveable part is further configured to move with the washbasin relative to the fixed part.
