OZONE GAS MITIGATION DEVICES FOR PLUMBING FIXTURES
An ozone mitigation system reduces the amount of ozone that is expelled from a toilet or another water consuming appliance. The ozone mitigation system may include an ozone generator in communication with a tank of the water consuming appliance. An air source and a power source may be connected to the ozone generator. An ozone flow restrictor or ozone eliminator is operable inside of the tank and configured to modify a flow of ozone from the ozone generator through the toilet tank.
Catalyst structure for ozone decomposition
Provided are a catalyst structure for ozone decomposition including a support containing a porous inorganic material, and an α-MnO.sub.2 catalyst located on at least a portion of inner pores and a surface of the support, an air-cleaning method using the same, and an air-cleaning device and an air-cleaning system each including the catalyst structure for ozone decomposition.
Decontamination device, isolator system, and operating method
A decontamination device (1) for decontaminating products in the form of consumer goods and/or consumer good packaging having consumer goods located therein prior to supplying the consumer goods into an isolator, the decontamination device comprising several decontamination chambers (3, 4, 5, 6) each having a closable inlet opening (9) and a closable outlet opening (10), and each comprising application means (7) for applying a decontamination agent, to the decontamination chambers (3, 4, 5, 6), and the decontamination device (1) comprising a distributor chamber (11) disposed upstream of the decontamination chambers (3, 4, 5, 6) and having a supply opening (24) for products to be decontaminated, the distributor chamber (11) comprising distributor means (15) for distributing the products to the different decontamination chambers (3, 4, 5, 6), and the decontamination device (1) comprising a discharge chamber (12) disposed downstream of the decontamination chambers (3, 4, 5, 6) and having a discharge opening (2) and comprising transport means (16) for transporting the decontaminated products out of the decontamination chambers (3, 4, 5, 6), the distributor chamber (11) and/or the discharge chamber (12) being assigned means (17) for reducing a decontamination agent concentration by means of which the decontamination agent is conveyed through a catalytic converter in air circulation mode and/or decontamination agent is displaced by supplying fresh air.
PHOTOCATALYST AND METHOD FOR FABRICATING THE SAME
The present invention provides a metal/metal oxide doped-WO.sub.3 flower-like assemblies as a photocatalyst applied to photocatalytic inactivation of influenza virus and bacteria under UV or visible light activation, and further provides a surface-modulator-driven synthesis method for producing WO.sub.3 flower-like assemblies, as well as doping methods for doping the metal/metal oxide to the WO.sub.3 flower-like assemblies. The metal/metal oxide doped in WO.sub.3 flower-like assemblies can further enhance the antiviral and antibacterial performances.
Decontamination device and decontamination method employing said decontamination device
Decontamination device and method for sterilizing an inside of facility or an inside of a device installed in the facility in which cells, tissues, culture media, sterile reagents, microorganisms or the like are handled or cultured, including: dry fog generating machine, installed in decontamination area, for converting peracetic acid mixed solution containing low-concentration peracetic acid into dry fog and spraying the dry fog into the decontamination area; humidity sensor, installed in decontamination area, for measuring humidity in decontamination area; gas recovery machine, installed in the above decontamination area, for recovering gas in decontamination area; and control device for controlling spraying from dry fog generating machine and gas recovery operation by the gas recovery machine based on information from the above humidity sensor, a main control and monitoring device, installed outside the above decontamination area, for controlling the control devices of one or more of the above decontamination devices.
Release Device
Provided is a release device including a housing having an inlet and an outlet, a heating element arranged in the housing, a first fan arranged to move air into the inlet and around the heating element, and a second fan arranged to move vapor out of the outlet. Other embodiments and arrangements are disclosed.
PROTECTIVE ANTIMICROBIAL SYSTEM
The system and method for providing antimicrobial and/or antiviral characteristics to substrates via an additive process for providing safe handling and reduction of cross contaminations from person to person from handling, shipping, storage and use of papers, boxes, liners, hospital barriers, respirator filters and liners, hospital curtains, masks, draperies, bed liners, and the like.
DISINFECTING DEVICE
A device for production and use of a disinfectant. The device may be used to disinfect materials or objects exposed to viruses and/or bacteria. In particular, the device is capable of converting at least one first reagent such as an alcohol and at least one second reagent including an oxidant into an active disinfectant agent. A catalytic system is incorporated into the reaction vessel to produce the active disinfectant as needed for the disinfection process.
APPARATUS FOR PLASMA STERILIZATION OF MEDICAL DEVICES
A system for sterilization of a medical device comprising at least one medical device and at least one sterilization device. The sterilization device comprises at least one plasma generator and at least one water source and/or water vapor source for providing water and/or water vapor. The sterilization device is configured to generate plasma-activated water vapor and the system is configured to at least partially conduct the plasma-activated water vapor through the medical device.
Apparatus for Disinfecting Objects or Solids, Preferably Pieces of Protective Equipment, and Its Use
The invention relates to an apparatus for disinfecting, in particular sterilizing, objects or solids, preferably pieces of protective equipment, in particular protective masks or protective clothing, with a treatment chamber for receiving one or more objects or solids, preferably one or more pieces of protective equipment, with a closable airlock through which objects or solids, preferably pieces of protective equipment, can be introduced into the treatment chamber and/or removed from the treatment chamber and with a generation unit for generating reactive species in a gas stream. The generation unit includes discharge means configured to generate an electrical discharge in the gas stream. The generating unit is arranged such that the gas stream, during operation, passes from the generating unit into the treatment chamber. The invention further relates to a use of the apparatus.
