TECHNOLOGIES FOR SANITIZING/DISINFECTING MEDICAL DEVICES
A method of sanitizing at least a portion of a medical device with a sanitization system comprising a base comprising a sanitizing chamber, a sanitizing gas generator, a primary fan or pump, a secondary fan or pump, and a controller. The sanitizing operation comprising generating a sanitizing gas pulse including causing the sanitizing gas generator supplying a sanitizing gas and causing at least one of the primary fan or pump and the secondary fan or pump to operate for a pulse period, and conducting a dwell operation after the pulse period, the dwell operation comprising discontinuing supply of said sanitizing gas and slowing or stopping said primary fan or pump and said secondary fan or pump for a dwell time.
DEVICE FOR CLEANING AND STERILIZING A FILLING VALVE OF A BEVERAGE FILLING SYSTEM FOR FILLING A CONTAINER WITH A FILLING PRODUCT
The present invention relates to a device and a method for cleaning and sterilizing a filling valve of a beverage filling system for filling a container with a filling product. The device includes a cap for closing a filling product outlet of the filling valve during the cleaning and sterilization, and a valve for opening and closing the through-opening. The cap has a through-opening for discharging sterilization medium during the sterilization. The valve includes a shape-memory material for switching the valve between an open and closed position at a predetermined temperature.
OZONE RAIN PAN
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate generally to systems and methods for combing ozone and water to deliver ozonated water in a rinse stream. The ozone rain pan finds particular use for rinsing food products traveling along a conveyor line with ozonated water.
DISINFECTING SYSTEM FOR FOOD PROCESSING EQUIPMENT
A system and method for disinfection of food processing equipment is described. The system comprises one or more nozzle for delivering disinfecting fog, and is adapted to be used so that there is free space in front of the nozzle, and an angle of at least 20° for the expanding fog. Further disclosed is a food processing system comprising at least one food processing unit that comprises a housing and food processing means within the housing, the housing being provided with a plurality of nozzles on an inside surface to deliver disinfectant and/or cleaning fluid towards the food processing means. Methods of disinfecting food processing equipment are also provided.
SANITATION UNIT
The disclosure relates to a sanitation and sanitization apparatus and methods for disinfecting a wearable equipment used in the catalyst reactor field including: a case having a first chamber and a second chamber; an internal assembly located within the first chamber of the case; a condenser within the internal assembly; an atomizer assembly within the internal assembly and connected to the condenser; a circulating pump within the internal assembly; an programmable logic controller configured to communicate with the condenser, atomizer, and circulating pump; and wherein the internal assembly has a housing containing the condenser, the atomizer assembly, the circulating pump, and the programmable logic controller; and a disinfectant port is defined on a side of the housing adjacent to the second chamber of the case.
SANITIZING DOOR HANDLE
Various implementations of the invention are directed toward a sanitizing door handle and/or components of such sanitizing door handle that sanitizes the door handle during use. Various implementations of the invention are directed toward a gravity-fed sanitizing door handle and/or components of such sanitizing door handle. Various implementations of the invention are directed to a hand sanitizing dispenser that dispenses a fluid, such as a sanitizing fluid, onto hand(s) of a user when the user operates or otherwise engages a door handle, such as, but not limited to, the sanitizing door handles discussed above. In some implementations of the invention, the fluid is dispensed directly onto the hands of the user. In some implementations of the invention, the fluid is dispensed onto the exterior of the sanitizing handle and is subsequently passed onto the hands of the user through contact with the sanitizing door handle.
Sanitizing cup
A sanitizing cup that is advantageously used in a vehicle interior. The sanitizing cup includes a cup base and a sanitizing compartment extending at least partially from the cup base. The sanitizing compartment has a sanitizing area which can be used to sanitize an object, such as a user's face mask. The sanitizing cup also includes a hand sanitizer dispenser extending at least partially from the cup base, from the sanitizing compartment, or from both of the cup base and the sanitizing compartment. A combined hand and mask sanitizing cup provides enhanced in-vehicle disinfection capabilities.
Multi-chamber medical waste ozone-based treatment systems and methods
Ozone-based methods and systems for treatment of solid waste that contains pathogens, and requires apparent volume reduction, include using dual treatment chambers, lift transporters that cascade the preliminarily treated solid waste, and agitation within the second (high ozone concentration) treatment chamber. The steps include feeding solid waste into a shredder chamber to reduce its apparent volume; and then to a first treatment chamber for preliminary ozone molecular interaction with the solid waste, and to a second treatment chamber with an agitator, via at least one lift transporter, to both cascade and agitate to enhance efficacy.
APPARATUS FOR GENERATING A PLASMA AND METHOD FOR PERFORMING A PLASMA TREATMENT
An apparatus for generating a plasma above a treatment object. The apparatus includes a plasma-generating element such that during operation the plasma is generated by the plasma-generating element. The apparatus further includes a sealing element attached to the plasma-generating element. The sealing element has a cavity and is configured to form a closed volume with a part of the treatment object, so that at least a part of the cavity is part of the closed volume and, during operation of the apparatus, the plasma is generated in the closed volume. The sealing element includes a reception region that is configured so that a part of the treatment object can be inserted into the reception region. A method is also disclosed for performing a plasma treatment to a treatment object using the apparatus.
PRESSURE DECONTAMINATION SYSTEM PROVIDING FAST CLEANING AGAINST CBRN THREATS SUITABLE FOR USE IN MILITARY VEHICLES AND INFRASTRUCTURES
