ACCUMULATOR APPARATUS FOR USE IN STERILIZATION
A decontamination system for a device, such as a lumen device, is provided. The decontamination system includes a terminal package defining a device receiving area. The terminal package includes a fluid inlet through which sterilant fluid can be delivered to the device receiving area. An accumulator apparatus is provided that is configured to switch between trapping sterilant fluid delivered into the device receiving area and delivering sterilant fluid to the device receiving area based on pressure changes in the device receiving area.
AIR HANDLING SYSTEM FOR HOT AIR STERILIZER
An air handling system for a hot air sterilizer apparatus includes a sterilization chamber having an air exhaust portal, an air handling pathway traversing above the sterilization chamber through an upper supply air plenum and traversing below the sterilization chamber through a lower supply air plenum, a circulation fan configured to direct supply air from the air exhaust portal over an upper heating element through the upper supply air plenum and over a lower heating element through the lower supply air plenum, a first temperature sensor in the upper supply air plenum and configured to measure temperature of air downstream from the upper heating element, a second temperature sensor in the lower supply air plenum and configured to measure temperature of air downstream from the lower heating element, and a third temperature sensor at the air exhaust portal and configured to monitor temperature of air exiting the sterilization chamber.
Room Sanitizing Assembly
A room sanitizing assembly includes a reservoir that contains a fluid disinfectant. A pump is coupled to the reservoir for pumping the fluid disinfectant outwardly from the reservoir. A pipe is fluidly coupled to the pump such that the pipe receives the fluid disinfectant from the pump. The pipe is routed to exit the dedicated room in the building having the pipe extending over a ceiling of a common room of the building. A plurality of nozzles is each fluidly coupled to the pipe such that each of the nozzles receives the fluid disinfectant. Each of the nozzles extends through the ceiling of the common room of the building such that the nozzles spray the fluid disinfectant into the common room to sanitize the common room thereby reducing transmission of infectious diseases.
ANTISEPTIC SOLUTIONS AND APPLICATORS
An antiseptic solution comprising a pH-dependent antimicrobial agent, the pH-dependent antimicrobial agent having an operative pH range, wherein the solution has a pH on storage that is lower than the operative pH range. Applicators for applying the antiseptic solution and methods of using the antiseptic solution and applicators are also provided.
DISINFECTION SYSTEM USING PLASMA-DISCHARGED WATER, AND SPRAY NOZZLE FOR SPRAYING PLASMA-DISCHARGED WATER AS DROPLETS
Disclosed are a disinfection system using plasma-discharged water, and a spray nozzle. The disinfection system using plasma-discharged water is characterized by comprising: a plasma-discharged water generating device; a to-be-treated water supply unit for supplying water to be treated to the plasma-discharged water generating device; a plasma-discharged water ejection unit connected to one side of the plasma-discharged water generating device; and a spray nozzle which is fluid-communicably connected to the plasma-discharged water generating device and supplied with plasma-discharged water from the plasma-discharged water ejection unit, and atomizes and sprays the supplied plasma-discharged water as droplets.
FLUID PUMP STERILIZATION APPARATUS AND METHOD
An apparatus for pumping a selected sterilizing fluid by a user comprising: a fluid container, a pump assembly having a fluid delivery tube, the fluid delivery tube being manually drivable by the user in a downstream direction starting from a stationary start position and adapted to pump fluid upstream through an upstream end of the fluid delivery tube that is configured to receive and engage a complementary surface of an external device, the fluid delivery tube being drivable downstream from the start position by manually engaging the complementary surface of the external device against the upstream facing surface of the enlarged head and manually driving the external device in the downstream direction.
Sterilizing Cabinet Filter Assembly
Methods and apparatus for sterilization are presented. An apparatus includes a sterilizing cabinet assembly including a cabinet having an access port and a bottom, the bottom configurable to induce a condensate to flow on the bottom to a vent port. The apparatus further includes a door connected to the cabinet, the door moveable between an open position permitting passage through the access port to an interior of the cabinet and a closed position precluding passage through the access port. The apparatus also includes at least one of the cabinet and the door having the vent port, and a filter overlying the vent port and forming a sealed interface with an adjacent portion of the one of the cabinet and the door.
Flash Cleaning and Sterilization of surfaces Based on Touch Monitoring
Surface disinfecting and sterilizing devices, systems and methods are provided. Surface disinfecting systems provided include a control system with one or more camera(s) and an aimable, rapid disinfecting and/or sterilizing device(s), all of which may be installed within a public or other high-traffic environment, and configured to monitor and treat all touched surfaces within the environment. The control system determines a cooling time for each such touched surface and type of treatment, and prevents treatment from occurring when treated surface(s) are accessible by human body part(s) or other objects within the environment. The invention may be provided on or in any form of user interface that may be physically touched by a user. For example, in some embodiments, the invention may be provided to treat, disinfect and sterilize door handles, touchscreens, or other user controls, and any other user interfaces bearing a risk of carrying microbes and pathogens.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
Devices systems and methods are disclosed. Among other things, the devices systems and methods can facilitate ergonomic gripping of a handle; conform to the shape of a wrist; enhance golf techniques or performance; enhance racket sport technique or performance; protect a head of a user engaged in contact sports or other hazardous activities; identify concussions, in some cases in substantially real time; provide sterilization of garments; control surgical robots; allow for medical treatment of multiple subjects without disrobing; provide biometric or other data; and/or be used to train muscles or body parts for, for example, performing specified tasks using a body part.
LONG-ACTING AEROSOL CLEANER AND GERMICIDE
Cleaning and disinfection product that resolves the problem of the droplet size in the spray and, therefore improves the effectiveness of the product for which, in aerosol format and with a propellant that is a liquefied petroleum gas, the valve allows a discharge rate of 0.2 g/s to 4 g/s and the composition of the liquid for propelling, without the propellant, comprises, ethanol or isopropanol between 60% and 90% with the rest, up to 100%, propylene glycol up to 100%, it being possible to optionally incorporate a fragrance up to 5%, in which case the propylene glycol content is conveniently reduced.
