System for processing meats with aqueous ozone
A system for meat processing may include: a conveyor configured to transport animal carcasses or portions of meat through a meat processing facility; and a spray system configured to spray each of the animal carcasses or portions of meat with aqueous ozone when each of the animal carcasses or portions of meat is transported to the spray system by the conveyor. The system may further include a second spray system configured to spray each of the animal carcasses or portions of meat with lactic acid or citric acid when each of the animal carcasses or portions of meat is transported to the second spray system by the conveyor.
Sanitizing Apparatus
A sanitizing apparatus includes a main housing, a dispensing member, a supporting platform, and a sanitizing fluid pouch. the main housing comprises a front wall, a first sidewall, a second sidewall, a rear wall, a bottom wall, and an opening. The front wall, the first sidewall, the second sidewall, the rear wall, the bottom wall of the main housing together form an internal space accessible through the opening of the main housing. The dispensing member is inserted into the internal space through the opening of the main housing. The dispensing member comprises a dispensing mechanism. The sanitizing fluid pouch is filled with a sanitizing fluid and is flexible and deformable. The supporting platform is placed within the dispensing member. The supporting platform comprises a supporting plate on which is seated the sanitizing fluid pouch. The supporting platform further comprises a pressure-applying member.
Shrink-formed package
An example technique of forming a package includes retaining a package precursor in a support. The package precursor includes a shrink-formable composition and defines an interior volume configured to enclose a component, such as a medical supply. The package may be formed by at least directing a flow of heated medium from a nozzle toward at least one region of the package precursor to cause the at least one region to shrink faster than an adjacent region of the package precursor. In some examples, an example system for shrink-forming a package includes the support and the nozzle.
DISINFECTING AND/OR STERILIZING DEVICE FOR DOOR HANDLES
The presently disclosed subject matter is directed to a device capable of disinfecting and/or sterilizing a door handle. Specifically, the disclosed device fits around commonly used doorknobs or door handles. The device includes an interior compartment that houses one or more solutions capable of killing or neutralizing microbial organisms present on the door handle and surrounding area. Particularly, the solution is sprayed from the interior compartment through one or more outlets positioned adjacent to the door handle. In this way, the door handle remains disinfected and/or sterilized between uses to prevent the spread of harmful viruses, bacteria, and other microbes
BATTERY POWERED SELF-ADJUSTING SANITIZER/DISINFECTANT SPRAYER
Exemplary embodiments of self-adjusting sanitizer/disinfectant sprayers are disclosed herein. An exemplary self-adjusting sanitizer/disinfectant sprayer includes a tank for holding sanitizer or disinfectant, one or more batteries, a motor, a motor controller, and a pump. The pump includes a pump inlet in fluid communication with an interior of the tank and a pump outlet. A processor, a dispensing wand and a flow sensor are also included. The flow sensor and motor controller are in circuit communication with the processor. The processor provides input to the motor controller for controlling the speed of the motor that drives the pump as a function of a signal indicative of the flow rate received from the flow sensor.
Vehicular cart treatment method and apparatus
A towable trailer vehicle is provided having a pass-through cart treatment chamber formed from lateral side to side between two ramp doors. The chamber forms a spray tunnel in which carts are moved by a conveyor from various treatment stations to the next, and which can include cleaning, sanitizing and/or disinfecting, rinsing, drying, and applying protective coatings to each cart. The various fluids used in the spray treatment are stored, prepared, controlled, and collected for reuse and/or disposal within the trailer. The trailer is dimensioned to allow sufficient advertising, information, and/or aesthetic decor thereon to facilitate its use and desirability. The trailer structure provides apparatus security during periods of non-use.
Sanitizing caps for medical connectors
Antiseptic caps that can be used to disinfect and/or protect medical connectors are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the antiseptic cap can include a first chamber configured to be removably attached to the medical connector. Delivery systems for use with medical articles are also disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the delivery system comprises various dispensing systems for antiseptic caps and/or antiseptic cap holder assemblies. In some embodiments, the delivery system can be configured to permit the medical articles to be individually removable from the delivery system.
SANITIZATION AND CLEANING SYSTEM FOR OBJECTS
An apparatus may include one or more light components that are configured to emit light to sanitize and disinfect one or more objects included within the apparatus. The apparatus may have an interior cavity at which the light components are located, where the interior cavity is accessible via one or more doors, an opening, a lid, etc. The apparatus may have a conveyor that transports objects from a first end of the apparatus to a second end of the apparatus, where the objects are sanitized during transport. The apparatus may be transitioned from an expanded configuration to an unexpanded/collapsed configuration, and vice versa. The apparatus may be stationary or include wheels or other mechanisms that allow the apparatus to be moved between different locations. Objects that are sanitized by the light components of the apparatus will be free of pathogens (e.g., viruses, bacteria, etc.) that are potentially harmful to humans.
DECONTAMINATION COMPOSITION AND PROCESS
A process is described utilizing a composition of nano particles to form a foam and applying the foam to a surface to be disinfected.
MICROWAVE ASSISTED METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR SURFACE DECONTAMINATION
Disclosed are microwave assisted methods and systems for decontaminating a variety of contaminated surfaces. The systems and methods comprise treating the surfaces with benign chemical formulations followed by exposing to microwave irradiation for short periods of time to achieve at least 6-log reduction in biological contaminants including spores of B. anthracis, B. thuringiensis, and P. roqueforti. Chemical formulations may comprise copper (II) chloride in water. The formulations may include a surfactant such as a polyethylene sorbitol ester surfactant.
