INTERNAL CONNECTOR SYSTEM FOR STRUCTURAL MEMBERS
20220120309 · 2022-04-21 ·

An internal connector system of structural member includes a locking screw with a screw thread. A connector block includes a first bore hole sized and shaped to receive at least a portion of the locking screw, and the connector block is configured to engage with a bolt thread of a bolt. A lock plate has a plate thread that is configured to engage the screw thread of the locking screw. Tightening the locking screw causes the connector block to expand the lock plate.

Node, apparatus, system and method regarding a frame support for solar mirrors

A node for a solar frame including an elongate portion having a channel extending through it in which a structural element is disposed or a solid elongate portion on to which a structural element is disposed. The node comprises a fin extending radially outward from the elongate portion where at least 5% of the volume of the fin is replaced by at least a single void extending essentially in parallel with the channel or the extrusion direction of the solid elongate portion. An apparatus for transmitting torque in a solar frame having structural elements and a support. A system for solar mirrors. A node for a solar frame. A method for connecting a structural element with a strut having a strut end piece of a solar mirror support frame. A method for producing a node for solar mirror frame.

Modular support frame

A modular support frame comprises trusses, purlins transverse to the trusses, and vertical posts supporting the various trusses. A supply of wedges permits flange-type connectors to be joined to complementary connectors throughout the foundation. The trusses are arranged end-to-end in parallel rows, each row comprising at least one pair of trusses or more depending on the desired size of the foundation. Vertical posts are positioned between the ends of each of the trusses within a row and at opposing ends of the row, and each post comprises a pair of flange-type connectors at predetermined heights. Each of the trusses is terminated at either end with a pair of complementary connectors such that adjacent in-line trusses can be mounted to the post between them and the outer pair of trusses can be mounted to the posts terminated the row. Purlins extend perpendicularly between the trusses in adjacent rows to reinforce the frame. To that end, the trusses comprise flange-type connectors and the purlins are terminated at either end with complementary connectors.

Clearspan fabric structure

A clearspan structure including component systems, and methods of forming a clearspan structure including component systems, for mitigating hazards to personnel or equipment from explosions, fires, toxic material release, and other hazards in hazardous locations. The exemplary clearspan structure is also capable of withstanding environmental conditions such as snow loads and wind. The exemplary clearspan structure is, for example, a tent or fabric structure which includes a plurality of frame members forming a support system for the clearspan structure, and fabric roof portions and walls for enclosing the clearspan structure.

Structural frame for a building and method of constructing the same

A structural frame for a building, comprising: adjacent first and second columns; at least one precast concrete floor slab having first and second corner indents located in two adjacent corners and a first elongated edge beam defined between the first and second corner indents, the first elongated edge beam being disposed between the first and second columns such that the first and second columns are received in the first and second corner indents and that the first elongated edge beam abuts the first and second columns; and a first tendon assembly extending between the first and second columns and adapted to be tensioned to compress the first elongated edge beam between the first and second columns, the first tendon assembly including at least one left cable and at least one right cable located symmetrically on either sides of a vertical center plane of the first and second columns.

A storage system includes a storage grid structure and multiple remotely operated storage bin handling vehicles. The storage grid structure includes a first and a second type of vertical storage column profiles defining multiple storage columns in which storage bins can be stored one on top of another in vertical stacks. The storage column profiles are interconnected at their top ends by rails forming a horizontal rail grid upon which the bin handling vehicles may move in two perpendicular directions. The first type of storage column profiles has a cross-section comprising a hollow centre section and four corner sections. Each corner section includes two perpendicular bin guiding plates for accommodating a corner of a storage bin. The second type of storage column profiles has a cross-section comprising a hollow centre section having at least two connecting elements, and at least one corner section. The corner section includes two perpendicular bin guiding plates for accommodating a corner of a storage bin.
