Support assembly for a building structure
A support assembly for supporting a building structure, the building structure having a support frame including at least one support beam, the support assembly comprising: a pile adapted to be buried into a ground surface, the pile having a longitudinal axis; a pile head adapted to be secured to a top end of a pile, the pile head including a mounting member engaging the pile and an extendable member movably mounted to the mounting member, the extendable member being movable relative to the mounting member, along the longitudinal axis, the extendable member including: a support platform adapted to receive the support beam of the mobile home's support frame thereon; and at least one holding member adapted to engage the support beam and prevent movement of the support beam relative to the support platform.
FOAM PANEL, PREFABRICATED HOUSE, AND FLOATING STRUCTURE ON WATER
A foam panel is provided, that includes a substrate formed of foamed synthetic resin, a fastening portion having a first end embedded in the substrate and a second end exposed, and a polyurea resin layer covering a surface of the substrate. A prefabricated house includes a plurality of foam panels and is formed by coupling the plurality of foam panels.
RAISED FOUNDATION SYSTEM FOR PREFABRICATED REAL PROPERTY STRUCTURE
A raised foundation system for supporting a prefabricated real property structure having a downwardly facing mounting structure. The system includes a slab having footers; for each footer, a column attached thereto; a plurality of elongated main braces attached to the columns; and a plurality of elongated lateral braces attached to the main braces. At least two of the main braces extend along a plane, and each lateral brace extends the plane or another plane parallel to the plane. The main and lateral braces form an upwardly facing mounting structure configured to attach to the downwardly facing mounting structure.
HABITABLE STRUCTURE FOR MARINE ENVIRONMENTS
A marine or land habitation system includes a habitable chamber and a monopole column supporting the habitable chamber at a first end of the monopole column. The monopole column includes a second end, opposite the first end, for mounting in the seabed or dry land. The habitable chamber is moveable with respect to the column both rotationally and vertically.
SUPPORT FOOTER SYSTEM
A support footer system including a set of pre-cast concrete footers to provide additional support for a structure such as a home, garage, or other buildings and increase structural integrity. The pre-cast concrete footers are inserted and installed into a ground surface forming a defined base perimeter. A footer-unit is installed on top of the at least one pre-cast footers forming a support base for a structure to be built thereon.
Temporary or semi-permanent structure and method of increasing usable space
A structure with a support assembly having an upper surface spaced above a lower surface, a module removably supported by the upper surface of the support assembly, and an access system that is configured to allow a person adjacent the lower surface of the support assembly to move vertically upward adjacent the upper surface of the support assembly. The module at least partially encloses an interior space that is accessible through an opening in the module. The module is not permanently joined to the support assembly, and there is an accessible volume of space positioned below the module. The access system is positioned in a corner of a parking lot, the module extends laterally outward from the access system, and the module is positioned above at least one parking space in the parking lot.
REINFORCING STRUCTURE FOR MODULAR BUILDING CONSTRUCTION
Modular building units comprise, prior to installation at a construction site, a floor, a ceiling, and a plurality of walls which together define a habitable interior, wherein at least one wall is a reinforced wall capable of spanning a spanning distance of at least 50 feet without underlying support. In some embodiments, reinforced walls comprise one or more reinforcing structures. In some embodiments, the spanning distance is at least 60 feet; in some, at least 70 feet; and in some, at least 80 feet. In a further aspect, a method of building construction comprises the steps of: a) constructing a modular building unit according to the present disclosure at an assembly site; b) transporting the modular building unit to a construction site; and c) installing the modular building unit at the construction site, optionally across a unsupported span of at least 50 feet.
Packaged container housing structure and construction method
A packaged container housing structure includes a container box frame of rectangular configuration defining an interior space and an open top, closed bottom, opposite right and left open sides and opposite open ends, a top roof mounted on the container box frame and movable toward and away from the open top to close and open access of air flow into the interior space, coupling fittings integrated at top cover corners to enable lifting the packaged container housing structure, a plurality of deployable panels including wall panels, ceiling panels and floor panels stored in the interior space of the container box frame, and support feet attachable to the floor panels and container box frame being adjustable in length independent of one another so as to position the container box frame in a level orientation relative upon a mounting site.
Three dimensional structural frames and enclosures
Three dimensional structural frames and enclosures and related methods are disclosed herein. In an example embodiment, an enclosure includes a plurality of three dimensional structural frames and opposing wall portions interconnected by the plurality of three dimensional structural frames, where the wall portions include a plurality of uniform wall sections, where the wall sections include a wall panel portion, a top wall portion, and sidewall portions, where the sidewall portions of the plurality of wall sections are joined to form the wall portions, and where the plurality of three dimensional structural frames are attached to the top wall portions of the wall sections.
FOUNDATION-BASED TRAILER ALIGNMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD
An alignment system, a trailer frame alignment system and a method of aligning a trailer frame upon a foundation, the system including a foundation having at least three contiguous vertical walls, a trailer frame guide system including a pair of opposing guides on corresponding opposing walls of the at least three contiguous vertical walls, and a stop guide on the other of the at least three vertical walls between the corresponding opposing walls. The pair of opposing guides on the corresponding opposing walls include a tapered portion having a first distance defined between the pair of opposing guides at distal ends of the pair of opposing guides from the stop guide, the first distance being greater than a second distance defined between the pair of opposing guides between the distal ends of the pair of opposing guides and the stop guide.
