METHOD FOR 3D PRINTING PREFABRICATED MODULAR BUILDINGS
A method for 3D printing a prefabricated modular building includes rotating an intermediate module (300) by 90 degrees to obtain a fabricated module (400), so that two originally vertical walls (A, C) become horizontal walls, and the other two walls (B, D) become supporting walls. This enables the building to be able to receive stresses as a whole, improving the stability of the building.
Structures for Use in Erecting Multistory Buildings and Methods for Making Such Structures
Disclosed are various construction techniques for erecting a multistory building with an elevator shaft. In accordance with the method, upper and lower shaft components are formed at an offsite facility. These shaft components are then joined together to form a segment of the larger elevator shaft. Once constructed, the segment is transported to a jobsite and erected. Once an individual segment is installed, a floor slab can be formed about the segment. Using pre-cast elevator segments simplifies and expedites the construction process. In one embodiment, each segment includes a serrated edge that facilitates a connection between the floor slab and the shaft segment. Rebar and reinforcing dowels can also be used to improve the connection. Associated shaft constructions are also disclosed.
Housing unit
A housing arrangement for floating on water is provided with a plurality of interconnected pontoons—The pontoons have a polygon outline. A plurality of shipping containers are arranged on each of the pontoons. The shipping containers are habitable by providing at least one door and at least one window in the shipping containers and by insulating the walls of the shipping containers. A plurality of gangways interconnects the pontoons.
Prefabricated bathroom and methods for constructing and installing the same
Disclosed herewith a prefabricated bathroom and a construction method and an installation method thereof. The prefabricated bathroom includes a bottom unit (11), multiple wall units (12) and a top plate unit (13). One of the wall units (12) is a structural wall (14), which is provided with a recessed top region (141) reserved for later pouring, a middle full-prefabricated structural wall body (142), and a recessed bottom region (143) reserved for later pouring. Top exposed reserve bars (144) of the prefabricated bathroom of a floor are inserted into the recessed bottom region (143) of the prefabricated bathroom of a next floor, and connected with bottom exposed reserve bars (146) thereof, so that the prefabricated bathroom of said floor can be connected with that of said next floor through pouring concrete in the recessed top region (141) and the recessed bottom region (143).
MODULAR INTEGRATED BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD THEREOF
Disclosed herewith a modular integrated building and a construction method thereof. The building comprises multiple prefabricated room units (1). A bottom of a load-bearing structure of the prefabricated room unit (1) is provided with a semi-prefabricated connecting port (2). Reinforcing bars arranged at a top of the prefabricated room unit (1) of a next floor are inserted in the connecting port (2) and thus connected with reinforcing bars arranged therein, so that the prefabricated room units (1) of two adjacent floors are connected with each other through in-situ casting concrete in the connecting port (2). A cast-in-situ concrete interlayer (3) is arranged on a top plate (11) of the prefabricated room unit (1) of a next floor, for connecting adjacent prefabricated room units (1) of a same floor together.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF STRUCTURES
Material delivery systems as well as systems and methods relating thereto are disclosed. In an embodiment, the material delivery system includes a tank to hold water therein. In addition, the material delivery system includes a hopper to hold dry ingredients of the extrudable building material therein. Further, the material delivery system includes a mixing unit to receive water from the tank and dry ingredients from the hopper. The mixing unit includes an agitator to mix the water and the dry ingredients together to form the extrudable building material. Still further, the material delivery system includes a controller coupled to the agitator that is to: measure a load imparted to the agitator by the extrudable building material, add additional water to the mixing unit when the load is above a first threshold, and add additional dry ingredients to the mixing unit when the load is below a second threshold.
METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING A CONCRETE FLOOR IN A MULTISTOREY BUILDING
The invention provides a method of forming a concrete floor of a multistorey building, the method including: installing a first building module having a first precast concrete floor slab adjacently spaced from a second building module having a second precast concrete floor slab, at least the first precast concrete floor slab supporting an upstanding support member for supporting an upper floor; forming a channel between the spaced first and second precast concrete floor slabs by providing supporting formwork between the floor slabs for supporting poured concrete; and pouring concrete into the channel to form a concrete connection between the first and second precast slabs, thereby forming a concrete floor of a building.
MODULAR BUILDING SYSTEM AND METHOD
The present disclosure describes a modular building system and method adapted to achieve a more efficient and durable longer-term building solution that can resist adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, and common building material degradation for years or decades, and can be built on remote sites that may otherwise be cost prohibitive to build permanent structures using more conventional building methods. In accordance with an illustrative embodiment, the modular building system comprises of a modular unit that is formed into a unitary building structure that may be interconnected laterally or vertically to form two or more floors.
FLEXIBLE CONNECTING STRUCTURE OF PREFABRICATED COMPONENT AND BUILDING MAIN BODY
The present invention discloses a flexible connecting structure of a prefabricated component and a building main body. The flexible connecting structure comprises multiple layers of cast-in-situ building main bodies spaced up and down, a prefabricated component is connected between two adjacent cast-in-situ building main bodies, a tenon is provided at the lower end of the prefabricated component, a mortise matching the tenon is provided on the top surface of the cast-in-situ building main body, and the prefabricated component is socketed to the lower layer of cast-in-situ building main body by tenon-and-mortise cooperation; and a first flexible layer for reducing the connection rigidity between the prefabricated component and the upper layer of cast-in-situ building main body is provided at the junction between the prefabricated component and the upper layer of cast-in-situ building main body. The present invention realizes a flexible connection between a prefabricated component and a building main body, and avoids the influence of the prefabricated component on the rigidity of the building main body.
