Thermally insulating fixture
A thermally insulating fixture includes a self-tapping screw, a fixed member mounted on the self-tapping screw, and a thermally insulating member wrapping the fixed member. The fixed member is provided with a first through hole. The thermally insulating member is provided with a second through hole and a positioning groove. The self-tapping screw extends through the second through hole of the thermally insulating member and the first through hole of the fixed member. A thermally insulating cover is mounted in the positioning groove and covers the self-tapping screw. The thermally insulating cover has a receiving space which receives the self-tapping screw. The thermally insulating cover has a positioning flange which is positioned in the positioning groove when the thermally insulating cover covers the head of the self-tapping screw.
SHELF ANGLE SUPPORT
A shelf angle suitable for supporting a brick veneer is attached to a building wall by way of plural spacer members each comprising inner and outer plates joined by a web of material. The spacer member may comprise a tube or c-section for example. Thermally insulating sheets are compressed between the shelf angle and the spacer member and/or between the spacer member and the building wall. The spacer members are spaced apart along the shelf angle.
Brick Tie
A brick tie including a body member, a first protrusion extending from a first location on the body member, and a second protrusion extending from a second location on the body member. The first and second protrusions may extend in the same direction relative to the body member. A gap may be defined between the first and second protrusions.
WALL NAIL
A wall nail includes a rod body, a nail head, a rotary head, and a rubber cover. The rod body has a first end portion and a second end portion opposite to the first end portion. The nail head includes a threaded rod and a drill. Two ends of the threaded rod are integrally connected with the second end portion of the rod body and the drill respectively. The rotary head is integrally formed on the first end portion of the rod body. The rubber cover covers the peripheries of the rod body and the rotary head.
COLD FORMED, DUAL SEAL ANCHOR AND METHOD OF MAKING
A cold formed anchor for use in an insulated cavity wall includes a unitary body formed with a driver portion and having large and small diameter portions. The driver portion may be formed with structure for connecting a veneer tie to the anchor. A method of making the cold formed anchor includes cold forming a driver portion and a reduced diameter portion from a blank.
Facade support system
A veneer tie for use in a wall to join a veneer wall to an inner wall. The veneer tie includes an attachment portion and an insertion portion. The attachment portion has a loop defining an opening configured to receive a fastener to secure the attachment portion to the inner wythe. The attachment portion is compressively reduced in a direction that is generally normal to the opening. The insertion portion is fixed to the attachment portion and extends in a direction transverse of the attachment portion. The insertion portion is configured for attachment to the veneer wall.
MASONRY CAVITY WALL TIE
A masonry cavity wall tie comprises a shank having a tip at one end, a head at a second distal end, ductility measured as a bending angle under complete three repeated cycles without rupture of between about 12.5 and 26, a shank diameter between about 5.5 mm and about 10 mm, and first, second, and third shank portions extending at least partially towards the head. The first shank portion commences at the tip and has a helical thread of a diameter along a predetermined longitudinal length of the first shank portion. The second shank portion commences at an end of the first shank portion, is unthreaded, and is between about 25% and about 30% of the wall tie length. The third shank portion commences at an end of the second shank portion and has a helical thread of the diameter along a predetermined longitudinal length of the second shank portion.
Wall tie apparatus and method
A tie system is provided for use with a wall form for a cementitious backup wall and for use with a wall tie to connect between the cementitious backup wall and a veneer. The tie system includes a backup wall connector and a form connector. The form connector is connectable to the form and secures the backup wall connector in position as the wall form is filled. The connector may have heat transfer reducing perforations. The connector may have an outwardly positioned flange to which external wall members may be attached. The connector may have multiple gap-setting features.

A high-strength partition top anchor and anchoring system is disclosed. The high-strength partition top anchor is a dynamic anchor that provides resistance to wall and deck separation during periods of high lateral forces. The partition top anchor is set within a slip tube embedded within the upper most portion of a partition or masonry wall and interconnected with a channel affixed to an overlying slab or deck structure.
