Field-resizable slab anchor that uses cut-to-length pipe
A slab anchor that is resizable in the field to accommodate different thicknesses of slabs. The anchor may have a top assembly and a bottom assembly that are joined by pipe such as widely available PVC pipe. A contractor can simply determine the desired width of the slab (which determines the height of the anchor) and cut a PVC pipe to the length necessary to make a slab anchor of the needed height. This system allows contractors to keep on hand only a single type of slab anchor, and to customize this anchor easily at the last minute for each slab. The top assembly of the anchor may have a coil that a fastener screws into after the concrete is poured; a coil protector screw may be placed into the coil during pouring so that concrete does not fill the coil, and removed thereafter to install the fastener.
METHOD OF ERECTING A MULTI-STOREY STRUCTURE AND FACADE
A method of erecting a multi-storey structure having a facade disposed around at least a portion of a perimeter of the multi-storey structure, wherein during construction, at least a portion of the facade is disposed to extend beyond an upper work area of the structure and forms at least part of a safety barrier for that work area.
DEVICE FOR SECURING CONSTRUCTION MODULES
The invention provides a system for fixing construction modules based on two fixing devices for assembling three-dimensional construction modules during building construction and complex construction elements for any use, in which first, essentially flat fixing devices comprise two pairs of rigid rods arranged vertically in each pair, one on top of the other, in a U-shape, both pairs of rods being arranged in a concentric manner, thereby defining a U-shaped hole in which bosses are placed, and second fixing devices comprising three pairs of rigid rods arranged vertically in each pair, one vertically on top of the other, with one pair defining an essentially right-angle and the other two pairs of rods being arranged symmetrically with respect to their bisector, thereby defining a hole in the form of an arrowhead in which bosses are housed.
Apparatus, systems, and methods for use in a cavity space to connect to a veneer tie that joins an inner wythe and an outer wythe of the cavity space
A wall anchor for use in a cavity space to connect to a veneer tie that joins an inner wythe and an outer wythe of the cavity space. In one embodiment, the wall anchor system for use in a cavity space to connect to a veneer tie that joins an inner wythe and an outer wythe of the cavity space is disclosed. The wall anchor includes a straight elongated shaft with a longitudinal axis. The wall anchor also includes a first receiving space defined by a first curved section and a second receiving space defined by a second curved section that are both in the cavity space upon installation. A first end of the wall anchor fusibly attaches to the single location at an outward facing side of the wire element.
Formwork Restraint
In one arrangement, shown in FIG. 1, there is provided a formwork restraint for a reinforcement bar. The formwork restraint includes a restraint portion for receiving the reinforcement bar. The formwork restraint further includes a support portion adapted to connect the restraint portion to a reinforcing formwork arrangement to maintain a desirable relationship between the reinforcement bar and the reinforcing formwork arrangement.
FACADE PANEL SYSTEM AND METHOD OF ERECTING A MULTI-STOREY STRUCTURE AND FACADE
A facade assembly for a vehicle parking structure comprising a facade panel arranged to form part of an exterior of the structure. The facade assembly includes at least one support member extending inwardly of the panel and into the structure in use for connection with a floor of the structure. The support member is arranged to include one or more attachments.
SELF-SUPPORTED PC COLUMN JOINT PART
A self-supported PC column joint part. A plurality of accommodation pieces is buried in the upper surface of a lower member to which a PC column is to be joined, has accommodation spaces having open upper parts, and has female threads. A support bar is provided in a pocket formed in the lower end of the PC column, and includes a body coupled to the upper surface of the pocket to protrude and a head at the lower end of the body so as to be accommodated inside the accommodation space. A fixing piece has a through-hole formed in the center thereof such that the body of the support bar passes therethrough, and has threads formed on the outer peripheral surface thereof so as to be screw-coupled to the accommodation piece, thereby fixing the head of the support bar.
Structure having edge reinforcement on profiled rail
A structure is provided, including a concrete body having a first surface and having a second surface arranged at an angle to the first surface; a profiled rail embedded in the concrete body, the profiled rail having a rail body having a rail slot extending in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the profiled rail, and the profiled rail emerging on the first surface of the concrete body; and a reinforcing body, which emerges on the second surface of the concrete body and which overlaps with the rail body, with regard to the direction of the longitudinal axis of the profiled rail, at least in some regions. A profiled rail assembly for such a structure is also provided.
Rebar spacer
A rebar spacer installed in a rebar crossing portion includes a spacer body and a pair of installation metal fittings. The spacer body includes a main portion and a pair of leg portions integrally formed with the main portion. The pair of leg portions is protrudingly provided with an interval on a rebar-side surface of the main portion. The interval between the pair of leg portions is equal to or larger than a diameter of the rebar and a depth of the pair of leg portions in an installation direction is equal to or less than the diameter of the rebar. Each one of the pair of installation metal fittings has a structure such that one end portion is locked into one of the pair of leg portions and the other end portion is hooked on a back-side rebar.
Concrete Construction Element and Reinforcement Arrangement, Especially for a Concrete Construction Element
A concrete construction element has a concrete base body with at least one flat side and an end face. An anchor rail is embedded in the concrete base body. A reinforcement component is provided that has a plate embedded in the concrete base body at a side of the anchor rail which is facing toward the end face of the concrete base body. The reinforcement component has two anchors fixedly connected to the plate, wherein the two anchors extend away from the plate to a side of the anchor rail which is facing away from the plate. The two anchors each have an end facing away from the plate, wherein the end has an anchoring section, wherein the anchoring section forms an undercut in a direction toward the plate.
