Construction block and wall face structure using same
A construction block and a wall face structure with high durability and versatility are provided. The construction block including: a front face wall and a rear face wall being parallel to each other; a top face wall with a horizontal groove formed for inserting a horizontal reinforcement; side face walls formed with at least one vertical groove for inserting a vertical reinforcement; at least one vertical hole formed between both of the side face walls and closed off by the top face wall and opened at a bottom face; a plurality of protrusions formed on the bottom face in a shape to engage with the horizontal groove; and recessed slits respectively formed in vertical direction on each side face of the front face wall and the rear face wall, is used.
FREE-STANDING WALL ARRANGEMENT AND METHODS
A free-standing wall includes concrete base blocks adjacent to each other forming a base course; a first set of concrete wall blocks stacked on the base course and on each other to form a first wall face; and a second set of concrete wall blocks stacked on the base course and on each other to form a second wall face that faces the opposite direction from the first wall face and that has the same number of courses as the first plurality of wall blocks. Methods of constructing the wall arrangement include laying the base blocks next to each other end to end; stacking individual blocks of a first set of blocks on the base course and then on each other to form a first wall face; stacking individual blocks of the second set of blocks on the base course and then on each other to form a second wall face that faces a direction opposite of the first wall face.
Construction blocks and systems
A semi-interlocking construction block system may include blocks having prism shaped male and female fittings configured for semi-interlocking interaction. When mated the male and female fittings may engage along their respective interfacing upper bases and lower ends of their respective lateral side faces. Gaps may be defined between upper ends of their respective lateral side faces. The fittings may include arcuate edges which may be quarter rounded.
CONSTRUCTION BLOCK AND BUILDING ELEMENT
A plant-based construction block (2) for a building element (1), for example a wall. The plant- based construction block (2) comprises a uniform recess (3) extending between two opposite faces (5) of the plant-based construction block (2). The recess comprising first and second interlocking portions (4a, 4b) disposed on opposite sides of the recess (3) such that an interlocking portion of a further identical plant-based construction block can be received in the recess (3) and engage the first interlocking portion (4a), and such that an interlocking portion of a second further identical plant-based construction block can be received in the recess (3) and engage the second interlocking portion (4b).
TECHNIQUES FOR CONSTRUCTING THEMED ROCKWORK STRUCTURES
A rockwork system includes a support structure comprising a plurality of modular construction blocks. The plurality of modular construction blocks includes at least one terminal modular construction block forming an exterior face of the support structure, and the at least one terminal modular construction block includes a first coupler in a first coupler active configuration. The support structure also includes at least one additional modular construction block coupled to the at least one terminal modular construction block, and the at least one additional modular construction block includes a second coupler in a second coupler inactive configuration. The rockwork system also includes at least one exterior shaped piece comprising a mesh support, and the at least one exterior shaped piece is disposed at least partially around the support structure and is coupled to the first coupler of the at least one terminal modular construction block via a complementary coupler.
Hinged corner form for an insulating concrete form system
A corner form panel used in an insulating concrete form system includes a hinged corner web member at least partially embedded in each of two segments of the form panel. The hinged corner web member enables the two segments to rotate with respect to each other, so that the form panel can be opened to a flat configuration for shipping, and folded into a corner configuration at the jobsite. Both inside and outside corner panels may be provided, and may use different hinged corner web members. The corner web member may include features for connecting the inside and outside corner panels, to reinforce the resulting form unit.
Structural units for building construction and methods of use thereof
An interlocking system of modular units engageable to form vertically and horizontally stable assemblies. The modular units include blocks and modular panels, each having vertical and optional horizontal bores that provide passage for plumbing, electrical wiring, and other connectivity. The modular units may be formed of lightweight cementitious materials, and may find use in assemblies such as walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, and entire building structures.
STRUCTURAL UNITS FOR BUILDING CONSTRUCTION AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
An interlocking system of Emodular units engageable to form vertically and horizontally stable assemblies.
SYSTEM OF CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS FOR JOINTLESS ERECTION OF BUILDING WALLS
A system of construction elements for jointless erection of building walls, including center, corner and edge blocks, with each block having a cuboid shape with profiled mating system in the form of lugs and recesses matching adjacent blocks at the points of their locking, providing the mating system in the center blocks, corner blocks and edge blocks are located on each horizontal and vertical mating surface, wherein the center block has, on the horizontal top surface, a mating system in the form of lugs having the shape of two flattened cuboids, arranged symmetrically and connected by a crosspiece, on the horizontal bottom surface it has a cuboid recess adapted for mating with lugs on the top surface, while on the vertical mating surfaces.
