PROFILES
An elongate profile (1) having a first portion (2) and a second portion (3), the first and second portions (2, 3) being joined together at a first joining portion (JP1), the first and second portions (2, 3) being non collinear, the joining portion (JP1) comprising an array of raised or rebated formations (10a), each formation extending across the joining portion (JP1) in a direction which is non-parallel to the principal axis of the profile and flat lands being provided between successive formations in an array (10A) and the pitch (P) between successive formations in an array being from 2 to 20 times, for example from 5 to 15 times, the thickness (G) of the flatlands.

WALL STUD ACOUSTIC PERFORMANCE
A framing assembly is disclosed including an acoustic framing arrangement and a plurality of tracks. The acoustic framing arrangement interconnects a top track with a bottom track. The acoustic framing arrangement includes a pair of studs positioned in back-to-back configuration and mechanically joined using a connector. The connector includes a vertical portion that extends between the pair of studs and a base portion that connects to the tracks. When assembled, the acoustic framing arrangement creates space between the pair of studs and positions the studs in an offset configuration to improve wall stud acoustic performance.

Machine walls
Improvements in machine walls to construct a building or house is disclosed. Adjacent side of the wall sections are tapered and dovetailed that lock-in-place. The dovetails are spaced to reduce the height that one section must be lifted to engage in an adjoining wall section. The footers/base plate will also have integrated earthquake or hurricane hold-downs in the footer/base plate that aligns and can be secured from the foundation to the wall sections. The connection of the wall section to the foundation to have counter flashing at the concrete insert and the wall-to-wall sections can be self-flashed. The wall sections can have GPS locators for positioning the wall sections. Plumbing and electrical conduit creating circuits that can be integrated into the walls and are connected sealed or bonded together.

Construction Tie for Securing U-Channels Vertically in Columns
A construction tie for securing vertical U-channels of a motorized retractable screen unit to surrounding building material, such as brick, stone, or stucco. The tie includes a U-shaped clip that closely conforms to the shape of the U-channel. One or more flanges extend laterally from the clip to overlie the adjacent bricks. A plurality of these ties may be spaced vertically along the length of the U-channel. Once the brick façade is complete, the ties are not visible. Making the ties out of magnetically detectable material allows for locating their positions. The number of flanges may vary; one may extend from each side of the clip, or a single flange may extend rearwardly from the back of the base. A method of installing a screen unit may include the use of the inventive construction ties. A kit for installing the screen unit may include a plurality of the ties.
Profiles
An elongate profile having a first portion and a second portion, the first and second portions being joined together at a first joining portion, the first and second portions being non collinear, the joining portion comprising an array of raised or rebated formations, each formation extending across the joining portion in a direction which is non-parallel to the principal axis of the profile and flat lands being provided between successive formations in an array and the pitch between successive formations in an array being from 2 to 20 times, for example from 5 to 15 times, the thickness of the flatlands.

SUPPORT WALL FRAME SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED USE THEREOF
A support wall frame system includes at least one end track, and a frame member received within the at least one end track. Such a frame member has a centrally registered longitudinal axis and includes at least one rib extended parallel to the centrally registered longitudinal axis. Advantageously, the at least one rib is statically affixed to the at least one end track. The at least one track includes at least one detent spaced from each shoulder of the track to allow bending the at least one track from a single and unitary sheet of metal. The at least one rib is interfitted within the at least one track.
