NANO EMULSION PROCESS FOR SCENTED LIQUIDS
Methods and devices for formulating scented nanoemulsions and dispersing one or more scents is disclosed. In some embodiments, the method includes providing a first mixture including water and a water surfactant, providing a second mixture including a fragrance material and an fragrance surfactant, mixing the first and second mixtures to create a temporary emulsion, and performing one or more high-energy homogenizations to the temporary emulsion until one or more desired physical properties of a resulting nanoemulsion are obtained. In some embodiments, the one or more high-energy homogenizations includes microfludization, sonication, and high-shear mixing. In some embodiments, the resulting nanoemulsion may thereafter be dispersed as a scent via an aerosolizing device. In some embodiments, the aerosolizing device may disburse scents in response to actions and/or events experienced in an AV/AR system.
GREEN BIN ODOR REDUCTION COMPOSITION AND USE THEREOF
A dry composition for controlling food scrap odor is provided, the dry composition comprising at least one sawdust, at least one zeolite, at least one diatomaceous earth and at least one essential oil.
Antiviral Air-Filtering Lighting Device Using Visible Light
An antiviral air-filtering lighting device includes an air-permeable lampshade, a visible light source, a driver, and an air circulation mechanism. The lampshade diffuses a visible light emitted from the visible light source and includes an air inlet port. The lampshade is coated with a visible-light activatable antiviral photocatalytic coating. The visible light source is disposed inside the lampshade to shine its light through the lampshade to activate the visible-light activatable antiviral photocatalytic coating on the lampshade. The air circulation mechanism sucks an ambient air from outside the lighting device, and forces the air through the lampshade. The lampshade traps airborne microbials on the surface having the visible-light activatable antiviral photocatalytic coating. A light emitted by the first visible light source activates a photocatalyst material in the visible-light activatable antiviral photocatalytic coating, and the airborne microbials trapped by the air filter are killed or deactivated by the activated photocatalyst material.
Apparatus and system for air cleaning
An air filtering and treatment apparatus (10), the apparatus (10) including: a housing (12) having an air inlet (14), an air outlet (16), an air passageway (24) between the inlet (14) and outlet (16), and a fan (18) arranged to urge air through the air passageway (24) between the air inlet (14) and the air outlet (16), wherein the housing (12) includes filter (20) arranged to filter air passing through the air passageway (24), and a receptacle (26) located toward the air outlet (16) relative to filter (20). The receptacle (26) is adapted to hold treatment composition (22) such that an evaporable vapour associated with the treatment composition (22) is able to accumulate in a headspace (41) of the receptacle (26), the headspace (41) including at least one aperture (36). The air passageway (24) may be shaped such that air flows substantially perpendicularly past the at least one aperture (36) of the receptacle (26) such that a pre-determined amount of the evaporable vapour is entrained into the filtered air released from the air outlet (16). A system (100) and method are also disclosed.
Air freshener gel containing cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin
The present invention relates to the field of air freshener. It relates more particularly to a gel composition which allows for an effective and prolonged evaporation of an active volatile ingredient contained therein. The gel device of the present invention comprises an active volatile ingredient and a gelling agent essentially formed of cellulose, hemicellulose and pectin.
INCENSE MATERIAL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE THEREOF
A method of manufacturing an incense material includes creating a mixture having five parts sawdust powder, one part adhesive, and at least six parts water. The method further includes baking the mixture and cooling the mixture to form the incense material.
METHODS FOR REDUCING ODORS PRODUCED BY TERPENES
Described herein are methods for reducing odors produced from terpenes. The methods involve treating air comprising one or more terpenes in order to reduce the odor. In one aspect, the air comprising the terpenes are circulated through compositions that can convert the terpenes to new chemical species that are not as odorous or possess no odor at all. The methods described herein have numerous applications where terpenes are produced or processed and it is desirable to reduce the odor produced by these compounds.
DISINFECTANT POUCH WITH FLUID CONTROL
A disinfectant device including a pouch, the pouch including a first layer of material coupled to a second layer of material and defining a compartment therebetween. At least one dry reactant is retained within the compartment, the at least one dry reactant producing chlorine dioxide gas when exposed to water. A wick is at least partially disposed within the compartment. At least one from the group consisting of the first layer of material and the second layer of material define an array of ports along a periphery of the pouch and an array of fluid conduits, the array of fluid conduits being proximal to the array of ports, offset from the array of ports, in fluid communication with the wick, the compartment, and the array of ports.
ANTIMICROBIAL FRESHENING COMPOSITIONS
A fabric freshening product that includes (a) freshening aqueous liquid composition including a bispyridinium alkane antimicrobial active and a perfume, and (b) a spray device to produce a spray of the composition.
TOILET ROLL
To provide a toilet roll having a deodorizing function. The problem is solved by a toilet roll in which a volatile deodorizing fragrant agent that is vaporized to emit fragrance and chemically deodorizes a malodorous component is applied to an outer periphery of a paper tube, and a deodorizing region to which a deodorant that chemically deodorizes a malodorous component is applied for deodorizing a malodorous component by contact with the malodorous component is provided on an inner periphery of the paper tube.
