Adjustable barrier for partitioning a building space
A wall for partitioning space within a building comprises interconnected barriers. For adjustable height, each barrier comprises a lower panel and a slidable and overlapping upper panel. Barriers are interconnected at vertical edges by a combination of rigid pins and slots or by hinge assemblies. Mating male and female parts of a hinge assembly attach to both panels of adjacent barriers with adjustable heights, and enable selective angling of barriers relative to each other. A filler barrier, for filling a space along a wall that is less or more wide than a standard width barrier, has sliding inter-nested frame parts that attach to the two panels of a standard barrier. A clip secures the top of a barrier to the grid of a suspended ceiling.
PANEL STORAGE SYSTEM AND DEVICES
A wall panel storage device includes a looped element and a motor for driving the looped element. A plurality of spacers is attached to the looped element with at least one spacer of the plurality of spacers being configured to fit between a pair of panels to move a panel of the pair of panels into or out of a storage area when the motor drives the looped element. According to one aspect, a wall panel storage system includes a first wall panel storage device adjacent a first track and a second wall panel storage device adjacent a second track. According to another aspect, the wall panel storage system includes a corner drive mechanism with a contact element configured to contact a wall panel to change a direction of travel of the wall panel as the contact element runs along a curved guide.
Apparatuses, systems, and methods for transformable living spaces
The present disclosure provides apparatuses, methods and systems operable to provide transformable living spaces. The system includes a chassis and a configurable unit movably coupled to the chassis for at least one of translation and rotation with respect to the chassis. The system also includes at least one drivetrain assembly movably coupling the configurable unit to the chassis. The system includes at least one actuator coupled to the configurable unit by the at least one drivetrain assembly. The system also includes at least one robotic controller communicatively coupled to the at least one actuator.
MOBILE SERVICE BLOCK SYSTEM AND METHOD
A mobile service block system including prefabricated bathroom, kitchen and other service room units in a single compact and mobile form for installation and use in buildings. The mobile service block system includes a base frame supporting at least one service unit selected from the group comprising bathroom units, kitchen units, laundry units, and closet units, and a displacement mechanism operatively connected to the base frame for displacement of the base frame and of the mobile service block system from one location to another. A method of installing the mobile service block system in a building and a room unit including the mobile service block system are also disclosed.
Partitioning wall element
A partitioning wall element for a partitioning wall installation includes a telescoping element, which is deployable in a horizontal direction. The telescoping element includes a pressure beam and a screening profile, wherein the screening profile is retained in or at the pressure beam. The screening profile includes at least one first screening holding component, which, in particular in a latching manner, cooperates with at least one corresponding pressure beam holding component of the pressure beam.
Locking arrangement and panel system
The panel system includes lower and upper guides and at least one panel located between and connected to them, to move the panel on the lower guide. The panel system includes a hinge element fixed to the panel and allows the panel to be opened by turning essentially around a rotation axis. The panel system further includes at least two locking housings positioned successively on the upper guide. The locking housings include two opposite locking recesses, defining a circle with radius R3 and between which remains a passage with width P2. The hinge element can travel from one locking housing to another through the passage. The distance between the locking housings is distance P1, configured to be less than two times radius R3. The hinge element may include two locking cams and in addition a guiding edge remaining between them. The panel system locking arrangement includes the hinge element.
Dwelling with selectively adjustable living spaces, and corresponding methods associated thereto
A dwelling for accommodating users, the dwelling including at least one dividing module provided with respect to a floor surface for separating the floor surface into at least two separate living spaces, the at least one dividing module being selectively adjustable in position with respect to the floor surface for providing the dwelling with selectively adjustable living spaces. The dwelling also includes a displacement assembly operatively connectable to the at least one dividing module for displacing said at least one dividing module about the floor surface. The dwelling also includes a controlling assembly operatively disposed between the at least one dividing module and the displacement assembly for allowing a user of the dwelling to selectively and adjustably position the at least one dividing module with respect to the floor surface of the dwelling, and in turn to selectively and adjustably vary a corresponding layout of the two separate living spaces delimited by the at least one dividing module, in response to a given input of the user and depending on a desired configuration by said user of the dwelling.
Locking edge joiner system for a temporary wall system
A wall panel assembly includes a first wall panel includes a first core having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. A first edge joiner extends between the first surface and the second surface. The first edge joiner has a first male extension extending therefrom and a second edge joiner extending between the first surface and the second surface parallel to the first edge joiner. The second edge joiner has a first female receiver disposed therein. The first male extension has a first channel opening having a first width. The first female receiver has a first extension extending inward and having a second width less than the first width.
Free standing sliding panel footed barrier
A free standing barrier includes two panels that slide parallel to each other. Each of the panels includes a lower outer corner portion on which is mounted a foot. The feet, in combination with each other, hold the barrier upright and make the barrier free standing. One foot engages one sliding panel and the other foot engages the other sliding panel. Each of the feet includes an outward extension that works as a stop against, for example, a doorjamb, to prevent the barrier from being pushed, such as by a dog, through the opening that the barrier is intended to close off.
Modular roll-up wall system
A roll-up wall system including a frame having a longitudinal axis, a first roller disposed in the frame, a second roller disposed in the frame, and a tube disposed in the frame. A screen may be connected to the tube. The screen may be supported by the first roller and the second roller. Further, the screen may be movable between a first configuration and a second configuration. In the first configuration, the screen is rolled around the tube which is spaced a first distance from the first roller. In the second configuration, the screen forms a barrier adjacent the frame, and the tube is spaced a second distance from the first roller. The second distance may be less than the first distance. Also, the roll-up wall system may be an acoustic barrier which achieves a Sound Transmission Class rating ranging from approximately 31 STC to approximately 53 STC.
