An exterior sheathing cementitious panel which prevents water penetration and air leakage is provided. Methods for manufacturing exterior sheathing cementitious panels with a highly efficient integrated air/water barrier membrane are provided as well.

A method to make an ultra-stable structural laminate of a cementitious material with a nano-molecular veneer and a foam component catalytically reacted into an expanded closed cell foam having a thickness from .sup.th inch to 8 inches, a density from 1.5 pounds/cubic foot to 3 pounds/cubic foot that inter-engages the cementitious material forming a matrix creating the ultra-stable structural laminate with fire resistance; a lateral nail pull strength from 44 pounds to 300 pounds of force; an insulation R value from 1 to 40; a resistance to seismic impact for earthquakes over 3.1 on the Richter Scale; a break point from 7 lbs/inch to 100 lbs/inch; and a resistance to wind shear equivalent to a 15 mph downburst.

A building with ultra-stable cementitious material with nano-molecular veneer has 29 wt % to 40 wt % of a magnesium oxide dry powder containing 80 wt % to 98 wt % of magnesium oxide based on a final total weight of the cementitious material, 14 wt % to 18 wt % of a magnesium chloride dissolved in water and reacting to form a liquid suspension, a phosphorus-containing material, and wherein the mixture forms a liquid suspension that reacts into an amorphous phase cementitious material, wherein a portion of the amorphous phase cementitious material grows a plurality of crystals. The plurality of crystals are encapsulated by the amorphous phase cementitious material forming a nano-molecular veneer and a wall material that is affixed to a frame of a building.

A shear connector for use with insulated concrete panels. The shear connector comprises an elongated core member that includes a first end and a second end, and a flanged end-piece removably secured to one of the first end or the second end of the core member. At least a portion of the flanged end-piece includes a maximum diameter that is larger than a maximum diameter of the core member. The shear connector is configured to transfer shear forces.

The present invention pertains to an element of an autoclave aerated concrete (AAC) material having a web of a second material different from AAC embedded therein and generally centrally disposed in a depth dimension of the element and between two planar faces and the second material supporting hardware for connecting the element to other structures.

At present, all public spaces and offices around the world use light steel hangers and 22 ceiling board or 48 indoor compartment gypsum board for the beauty and fire protection. Thermally soundproof, but the board is not encapsulated with a metal film and then vacuumed. In the long term, the moisture of the water molecules contained in the micron-sized pores would have been transported through the asbestos fibers, therefore become the medium for conducting sound waves and heat. It is necessary to enclose the board with metal film and then vacuumed in order to improve fire and sound insulation.

An insulated fireproof concrete form system. The system includes a pair of autoclaved aerated concrete blocks oriented parallel to each other. A pair of insulating blocks are disposed on a pair of internal surfaces of the pair of autoclaved aerated concrete blocks. The pair of insulating blocks are horizontally staggered relative to the pair of autoclaved aerated concrete blocks. A plurality of rods connects the pair of autoclaved aerated concrete blocks.

Disclosed is a method and system for blending a foam modifier with foaming agent on-line, e.g., as may be particularly useful for gypsum or cement slurries. The foam modifier comprises a fatty alcohol that is added to a gypsum or cement slurry that includes foaming agent, such as an alkyl sulfate surfactant. The fatty alcohol can be a C.sub.6-C.sub.16 fatty alcohol in some embodiments. The use of such a foam modifier can be used, for example, to stabilize the foam, reduce waste of foaming agent, improve void size control in the final product, and improve the gypsum board manufacturing process.

A photovoltaic power source includes a receptacle to receive a photofuel including a liquid, and one or more photovoltaic cells positioned within the receptacle to receive light emitted from the photofuel when the photofuel is in the receptacle. The photovoltaic power source also includes power circuitry coupled to the one or more photovoltaic cells to receive a photocurrent generated by the one or more photovoltaic cells when the one or more photovoltaic cells receive the light emitted from the photofuel. In response to the photocurrent, the power circuitry is coupled to output electricity.
