VACUUM INSULATED ENCLOSURE COMPONENTS
20240247487 · 2024-07-25 · ·

An enclosure component for a building structure including a core layer having a planar vacuum panel assembly with a first face and an opposed second face is provided. The vacuum panel assembly includes a honeycomb core with two opposed planar surfaces, and with an impermeable sheet bonded to each planar surface of the honeycomb core to seal the honeycomb core, and with air being at least partly evacuated from the honeycomb core prior to sealing to reduce heat transmission across the honeycomb core.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING OBJECTS
20240227339 · 2024-07-11 ·

A method for the production of objects including at least one honeycomb panel is performed by setting up a honeycomb panel and engraving it in such a way as to create a deposition path with a predetermined depth. A filler material is applied along the deposition path so as to fill it at least partially.

Stiffened Panels
20190077093 · 2019-03-14 ·

A method for fabricating a stiffened panel. Layers of composite material are placed on a surface of an inner-mold-line tool having protrusions that extend from the surface of the inner-mold-line tool. The layers of composite material laid-up on the surface of the inner-mold-line tool are compacted to form compacted layers of composite material. The compacted layers of composite material are cured to form an inner-mold-line layer having corresponding protrusions. The inner-mold-line layer is joined to an outer-mold-line layer.

SCAFFOLD BOARD
20190071883 · 2019-03-07 ·

A scaffold board (10) of extruded thermoplastic material. The board (10) includes a substantially rectangular outer profile and a plurality of strengtheners (20). The substantially rectangular outer profile is defined by a top wall (12), a bottom wall (14) and a pair of side walls (16, 18). The plurality of strengtheners (20) each extend between an inner surface of the top wall and an inner surface of the bottom wall. Each of the strengtheners have a middle part (20c), a pair of top parts (20a, 20b), and a pair of bottom parts (20d, 20e). The middle part (20c) is oriented normally to the plane of the top wall (12) and the bottom wall (14). The pair of top parts (20a, 20b) each extend outwardly from a top of the middle part (20c) to the inner surface of the top wall (12) in substantially equal and opposite directions respectively. The pair of bottom parts (20d, 20e) each extend outwardly from a bottom of the middle part (20c) to the inner surface of the bottom wall (14) in substantially equal and opposite angles.

Interlocking building system using one-piece skin-and-frame panels, vacuum-insulation, vertical slide-locks, multi-story slides, and snap-locks
20190024360 · 2019-01-24 ·

A system of structural interlocking panels for forming disaster-resistant buildings, comprising: a hollow, internally-braced, vacuum-insulated panel shell having at least two interlocking sides, the first side having a convex-inward single-curvature, the second side having a straight surface, the third side having a straight surface with at least one integral tongue with at least one head extending vertically-upward for receiving a complementary groove of a first side of an adjacent panel. Panels are thus vertically slide-locked along panel sides and faces, thereby triggering automatic snap joints that prevent backward movement of the panel. The system can assemble spheres, cylinders, toroids, tetrahedrons, flat shapes, and irregular shapes.

Self supportive panel system

A self supporting panel system used to fabricate ceilings, floors, walls, or roofs. The panel system is assembled from a plurality of panels, each having a core that is sandwiched between opposing plate members. In a preferred embodiment, the core of each panel includes a unifying material to enhance the load bearing capacity of the panel.

Apparatus for attaching a member to a core-stiffened structure and a combination thereof

An apparatus for attaching a member to a honeycomb core-stiffened structure includes a body and one or more elements extending from the body configured to be adhesively bonded to one or more walls of a honeycomb core of the honeycomb core-stiffened structure. The apparatus further includes a fitting for attaching the member to the apparatus.
