DIFFERENTIAL SETTLEMENT ANCHORS
The present invention provides an anchor assembly for attaching a first structure to a second structure. The anchor assembly has a body having a first face and a second face. The first face is transverse to the second face and has an elongate slot. The second face has a through hole. The body is fabricated from a material that fails at a temperature in excess of 1,000° F. A fastening member is positioned in the elongate slot for connecting the first face to the first structure and for sliding engagement with the elongate slot in response to relative movement of the first structure and the second structure.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR STRUCTURAL EXERIOR WALL PANEL BUILDING SYSTEMS
An exterior wall panel apparatus and system is disclosed which assists in the rapid construction of manufactured homes and commercial buildings, and which replaces traditional building materials with a full composite system and materials, to extend and increase the protective capabilities of traditional residential, industrial and commercial structures
BUILDING EXTERIOR PANEL AND ASSEMBLY STRUCTURE THEREOF
The present invention relates to a building exterior panel and an assembly structure thereof. A building exterior panel according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a front steel plate; a rear steel plate spaced apart from the front steel plate in the rear direction thereof; an upper frame disposed between the upper ends of the front steel plate and the rear steel plate and having a width in the thickness direction; a first side frame disposed at an end of a first side surface located at one end among horizontal opposite ends of the front steel plate and the rear steel plate; a second side frame disposed at an end of a second side surface located at the other end among the horizontal opposite ends of the front steel plate and the rear steel plate; and a lower frame disposed between the lower ends of the front steel plate and the rear steel plate. In addition, an assembly structure of a building exterior panel according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a plurality of building exterior panels as described above; and a base steel member having one side fixed to an outer wall and the other side coupled to the plurality of building exterior panels to support the plurality of building exterior panels.
Mineral wool insulation board system with mechanical fasteners and reinforcing mesh
A method of constructing an exterior insulated wall is provided. The method includes: erecting a wall structure of vertical studs and sheathing mounted to the studs; applying a moisture barrier layer and an adhesive layer; mounting a rear surface of a mineral wool insulation board to the adhesive layer, the rear surface having vertically extending drainage grooves, a front surface of the insulation board having a reinforcing mesh adhered thereto; securing the mineral wool insulation board to the studs with corrosion resistant screws and washers; and applying a weather resistant coating on the reinforcing mesh and washers. The mineral wool insulation board includes mechanically entangled non-woven hydrophobic fibers spaced apart by air voids to define a compressible fibrous mass. The washers and screws exert pressure on a compressed zone of the compressible fibrous mass which reduces moisture permeability, increases volume percentage of fibers, and lowers volume percentage of air voids.
Structural insulated finished cladding assemblies
An exterior building panel includes a panel body having a polymeric framing arrangement including an outer boundary portion extending around an outer perimeter of the panel body and a plurality of crossing frame members extending between opposed first and second sides of the outer boundary portion to define a plurality of cavities surrounded by the outer boundary portion, core insulation material disposed in each of the plurality of cavities, an insulation layer surrounding the framing arrangement and the core insulation material, and an insulating lamina coating covering the insulation layer.
STRUCTURALLY REINFORCED INSULATED PANEL
An insulated panel for a storage unit having a panel body that includes a first frame, a second frame, a third frame, and a fourth frame. The first, second, third, and fourth frames each include an interior surface that forms a cavity of the panel body. The second frame is spaced away from the first frame, and the third frame is spaced away from the fourth frame. A column disposed in the cavity has a first end coupled to the first frame and a second end coupled to the second frame. A foam core is disposed in the cavity such that the column is embedded with the foam core.
Cover channel, cover frame, insulating panel, air handling unit and method for manufacturing a cover channel
This cover channel (41) is configured for covering, at least in part, an edge (29) of an insulating panel (4A) with two outer walls (21, 23), the cover channel comprising an elongated body (43) comprising a cover portion (45), two outer portions (51), protruding respectively from an edge of said cover portion in a substantially perpendicular direction relative to the cover portion, and two clamping portions (53), each protruding from the cover portion alongside one of the outer portions for clamping a rim portion (31, 33) of one of the two outer walls. According to the invention, the cover channel (41) comprises a sealing gasket (63) provided along the elongated body (43), resting against the cover portion (45) within at least one of the clamping gaps (55).
COMPOSITE CORE WITH REINFORCED AREAS AND METHOD
A method of producing a composite core member along a production line is disclosed. The core member is designed to be used within a composite panel of a tractor trailer. The method comprises the steps of providing an intermediate core member comprising a reinforced material positioned on at least one end of the intermediate core member and producing at least two strips of reinforced material. The intermediate core member is inserted between the strips of reinforced material and the strips of reinforced material are coupled to a first side and a second side of the intermediate core member to form the core member.
Wall/Roof Construction System and Related Method
This invention comprises an insulative wall sheeting with purposefully overlapping barriers along all four lateral sides to a given sidewall sheet product hereunder. This system has moisture permeability and results in an improved installation method with an insulation rating of R2 or greater. The system comprises nonstructural sidewall panels that are preferably greater than about 1 inch thick.
