Structural stud post with thermal break

A structural stud post assembly comprising a center receiver section having opposing receiver channels formed by side walls and angled flanges, and a pair of raceway inserts also defining a raceway channel for accepting wiring and equipment to be disposed in the raceway. The raceways can be installed in the receiver channels to accept and accommodate wiring and equipment. The center receiver comprises a thermal break at about a midpoint to prevent there from being a metal-to-metal thermally conductive pathway through the stud. The structural stud post may be used in the construction of modular building systems.

Temporary pool cover and floor system

The innovation relates to a pool covering system that is usable as a flooring surface. The pool covering system includes brackets and support beams spanning the pool opening. The beams provide structural support to cross members and flooring placed on top of the beams. The pool covering system does not require significant drainage of the pool and does not damage the pool structure during installation and use.

Joint assembly for truss bottom plate, truss of escalator or passenger conveyor

A joint assembly for a truss bottom plate, the truss bottom plate includes a first bottom plate and a second bottom plate adjacent to each other, and a gap exists at an adjacent position between the first bottom plate and the second bottom plate; the joint assembly includes a first barrier plate and a second barrier plate; the first barrier plate is connected with the first bottom plate; the second barrier plate is connected with the second bottom plate; a part of the first barrier plate is arranged to overlap a part of the second barrier plate and cover the gap. A truss of an escalator or a passenger conveyor, the truss of the escalator or the passenger conveyor includes the joint assembly as described above.

Optimized support beam

A C-beam constructed to satisfy RMI and MHI standards for supporting two 2500 lb pallets over a 96 inch span and exhibit acceptable deflection, within industry safety specifications, that previously had only been satisfied by 4 inch C-beams of over 4 lb/ft, by optimizing the web thickness and the upper and lower flange dimensions. The beam is constructed, adapted, configured and dimensioned, such that it can weigh less than about 3.7 lb/ft, even less than about 3.55 lb/ft, and when supported at each end, will support an evenly distributed load of over 2400 lb, even 2500 lb, with a deflection of less than about 1/180 of its length.

CLEARSPAN FABRIC STRUCTURE

A clearspan structure including component systems, and methods of forming a clearspan structure including component systems, for mitigating hazards to personnel or equipment from explosions, fires, toxic material release, and other hazards in hazardous locations. The exemplary clearspan structure is also capable of withstanding environmental conditions such as snow loads and wind. The exemplary clearspan structure is, for example, a tent or fabric structure which includes a plurality of frame members forming a support system for the clearspan structure, and fabric roof portions and walls for enclosing the clearspan structure.
