CONSTRUCTION ANCHOR APPARATUS AND SYSTEM AND METHODOLOGY OF USE

A method, includes securing a component of an anchor apparatus to a board of a form utilized to form a concrete support structure; coupling an anchor of the anchor apparatus relative to the component by engaging a threaded segment of the component with a cooperative threaded segment of the anchor; depositing concrete within the form to create the concrete support structure, the concrete support structure at least partially enclosing the anchor; removing at least a portion of the board of the form; and accessing the anchor through a cavity in the concrete structure formed by the component.

Cable anchorage system

A cable anchorage system for anchoring a cable to a support structure in a civil engineering construction comprises an anchorage socket attached to the cable, a support socket attached to the support structure and a longitudinal coupling rod, which couples the anchorage socket to the support socket. The coupling rod comprises a threaded end, which interacts with a counter thread on one of the two parts which are the anchorage socket and the support socket, and a mounting end with a radially extending rod shoulder. The other one of the two parts which are the anchorage socket and the support socket comprises a longitudinal opening for receiving the mounting end of the coupling rod, which opening comprises an inwardly extending abutment shoulder. The rod shoulder abuts on the abutment shoulder in a first longitudinal direction and is slideable within the opening in a second longitudinal direction opposite to the first direction, when the anchorage socket is moved towards the support socket for tuning the cable anchorage system.

ANCHORAGE OF CONTINUOUS FIBER-REINFORCED POLYMER STRANDS

In an anchorage 1 of continuous fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) strands that anchors continuous fiber-reinforced polymer strands 2 to concrete structures, there is provided an untwisted diameter-expanded portion 3 expanded to a diameter D2 by being radially expanded with respect to a diameter D1 of a general portion 4 of the CFRP strands 2 by untwisting any section of the CFRP strands 2 formed by stranding a plurality of element wires (20, 21) that are bundles of multiple continuous fibers, and filling and curing a time curable material 5 in a clearance among the element wires the untwisted section that is untwisted.

CONSTRUCTING BUILDINGS WITH MODULAR WALL STRUCTURE

A method of construction of composite wall module system in which a first wall module and a second wall module are coupled to the first wall module by a vertical joint. The vertical joint is comprised of plurality of anchors and reinforcement bars as well as steel side plates allowing composite wall steel faceplates to be discontinuous across the vertical joint. The faceplates of the first and second modules are not made continuous across the vertical joint through continuous welding. The vertical wall joint further includes fill disposed between faceplates and side plates adjacent to anchors and reinforcement bars.

An inter-column anchor engages a top surface of header above a corresponding column, and the foundation below the corresponding column. The header anchor and/or the foundation anchor are adjustable to increase or decrease tension. The header anchor and foundation anchor are joined by a cable that may be grossly adjustable in length to accommodate various column heights. The elements of the inter-column anchor may be organized into a kit for distribution.
