Method of securing roofing membrane using lightly adhesive release layer positioned between hook and loop fasteners
A hook and loop system for attaching a roofing membrane into the top of a building insulation board including a roofing membrane with a fleece backing having a release sheet on the fleece backing. The release sheet is manually removed in the field to attach the fleece backing directly onto a layer of hooks that have been pre-attached onto the top of the insulation board. The release layer may be somewhat sticky, yet not adhere too tightly to the fleece layer such that its removal does not damage the fleece backing. The release layer may also be pre-rolled together with the fleece backed roofing membrane and shipped together as a unit into the field.
Roof Construction
A roof apparatus provides a uniquely configured clip assembly or interface that connects upper roof panels to under supporting beams. In one embodiment, the clip or interface provides multidirectional movement of roof panels to under support beams. In one embodiment, a specially configured U-beam can be an understructure beam that carries utilities such as piping or electricity.
Thermally adaptive glazing panel roofing system
A thermally adaptive glazing panel roofing system is provided. The system includes a glazing panel including at least one notch formed in a side of the glazing panel, two side brackets each including a ledge feature. Opposite sides of the glazing panel are supported by the ledge features. The system further includes at least one panel support plate attached to one of the ledge features and engaged to the notch. The system further includes a first pressure cap affixed to a first side bracket of the two side brackets and a second pressure cap affixed to a second side bracket of the two side brackets. The glazing panel is operable to thermally expand along the ledge features.
Retention apparatus, system and method
An a clamp connector apparatus, system, and method for mounting a solar panel to a cross member while retaining snow, ice, items and other objects on a wall, rooftop and other structure. A clamp mounting apparatus, system, and method for mounting the retention apparatus and system to a stanchion assembly for a membrane roof thereby joining the cross member anchor assembly to a latch assembly of top block.
Panelized roofing system
A roofing system including a plurality of roofing panels that can be releasably secured to rafters or other supports of the roof by connectors. In embodiments, the connectors can include first and second connectors, each of which can include a plate with a projection extending therefrom, and with the plates defining flanges on each side of the projection. The plates of the first and second connectors are configured to seat on and at least partially extend along one of the rafters of the roof structure and along exterior facing surfaces of adjacent ones of the roofing panels to releasably secure the roofing panels to the rafters.
Seam clips and roof decking systems utilizing the seam clips
Embodiments of the present invention relate to standing seam clips (e.g., panel clips and perimeter clips) that allow for improved horizontal movement of decking panels while reducing or preventing the issues associated with the binding of the standing seam clips that result in damaged roofs when the roof panels expand and contract due to temperature changes of the roof panels during heating and cooling cycles.
HOOK AND FLEECE ROOFING SYSTEM WITH ROLLED UP ADHESIVE RELEASE LAYER AND METHOD OF APPLICATION
A ROOF, WALL OR FAÇADE STRUCTURE
A roof, wall or faade structure suitable for new flat or pitched roofs, or renovation or reconstruction thereof, to a kit of parts for constructing, reconstructing or renovating a roof, wall or faade structure and a method for constructing or reconstructing a roof, wall or faade structure.
