Couplings for tubing
A coupling for a tube includes an attachment and a housing. The attachment is attached to the tube and has a barrel-shaped exterior surface. The housing contains the barrel-shaped exterior surface such that the attachment is rotatable in the housing while not being removable from the housing. The coupling thereby allows easy rotation of the tube within the coupling. The coupling may be utilized to attach the tube to another tube or to another structure.
GUTTER AND DOWNSPOUT CLEANING DEVICE AND METHOD
Example apparatuses and methods are directed to an apparatus for clearing a downspout connected to a gutter, methods of making the same, and methods of clearing a downspout. An example apparatus may include a base configured to be attached to an extension pole, and a hook secured to the base. The hook comprises a first projection, a second projection, and an intermediate curved portion joining the first and second projections. The second projection extends to an end knob and may be configured to be extended downward through a gutter to position the end knob within a downspout extending below the gutter while the base is positioned below an upper edge of the gutter adjacent the downspout.
Gutter Cleaning Device
A gutter cleaning device is provided. The gutter cleaning device includes a U-shaped scoop with a flat bottom designed to align flush with the floor of a gutter. This scoop includes tiered sidewalls and an open front end, facilitating the removal of debris from a gutter. A handle extends from a rear wall of the scoop and is disposed at a height that enables the handle to rest atop a gutter hanger when in use. The first tier of the scoop is taller than the subsequent tiers, aiding in efficient debris containment and removal. The rear wall extends beyond the sidewalls, forming a hand guard that protects users from injury. A short nose of the scoop is sized to fit under gutter hangers, enhancing accessibility and ease of use.
Universal Gutter Guard Cleaning Brush
A brush with bristles attached to multiple sides is designed to clean any gutter guard type that is manufactured today, including reverse curve type gutter guards. The brush has a main body of reverse-oriented bristles and accommodates an extension pole on the reverse side. When placed on top of the gutter guard, the brush can be pushed/pulled back and forth using the pole to dislodge any unwanted debris attached to the gutter guard's working surface. The use of the pole removes the need for a person to be on the roof when attempting to clean the gutter and/or gutter guard. With multiple bristle orientations, the brush can be used for other outdoor cleaning uses, such as house fixtures, structures, windows and so forth.
AIR-POWERED CLEANING DEVICE NOZZLE
A nozzle for a blower tube includes a collar configured to attach to the distal end of the blower tube and a blade defining a scraping edge. The blade transects the collar, forming top and second outlets that direct respective streams of air along both surfaces of the blade. The first outlet may have a greater cross-section than the second outlet, enhancing airflow distribution. The nozzle may feature a rounded bottom surface of the blade adjacent to the scraping edge and a relatively planar top surface. The collar may consist of adjustable, bifurcated portions for a secure fit. Additionally, a funnel downstream of the collar may funnels air against the blade's surfaces, and channelling formations on the blade's surface may help direct airflow. Internal vanes within the collar may further optimise air distribution across the blade.
ROOF SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS
A surface cleaning apparatus includes an elongated pole having a longitudinal axis extending along an end portion remote from an opposite end held by a user. A first surface engaging utensil and a second surface engaging utensil each are joined to the end portion. Each of the surface engaging utensils extend radially with respect to the longitudinal axis from the end portion. At least one of the surface engaging utensils is rotatable about the longitudinal axis and is adjustably fixable at any one of a plurality of different angular positions with respect to the end portion.
Vacuum tools
A vacuum tool configured to be removably coupled to hose or wand of a vacuum includes a body including a first end, a second end, and a first longitudinal axis extending between the first end and the second end. The vacuum tool also includes a head coupled to the first end of the body, a connection portion coupled to the second end of the body and configured to couple the body to a hose or wand of a vacuum cleaner, and a brush coupled to the head. The brush includes an elongate support defining a second axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the body and configured to couple the brush to the head, and a plurality of bristles positioned on the elongate support.
CADDY FOR SUPPORTING LEAF BLOWER AND GUTTER CLEANING KIT
A support caddy for an air blower and gutter cleaning kit. The support caddy provides stability for the air blower and the vertical tube assembly of the gutter cleaning kit, allowing users to support the vertical and horizontal forces encountered during gutter cleaning. The caddy includes a base with a lower support wall, a back wall extending perpendicular to the base, and a connecting tube (if required) between the air blower and the gutter cleaning kit. The support caddy includes quick release cinch retaining straps, a front handle, and a support strap for support. The gutter cleaning kit includes a transition piece that directs airflow from horizontal to vertical, and a series of interconnected air tubes that extend the reach of the cleaning kit. The support caddy and gutter cleaning kit are designed to efficiently remove leaves and debris from roof gutters, providing for safer and more effective cleaning.
Portable gutter and downspout cleaning device
The present invention introduces a portable gutter and downspout cleaning device for use with leaf blowers, featuring a blower nozzle with a rotatable elbow, flat plastic tubing, and a gutter cleaning nozzle with an extension pole socket. The tubing length is customizable for various gutter heights and accessibilities, and fastening components ensure airtight connections between the tubing and nozzles, transforming the tubing into an extended air conduit. For downspout cleaning, air pressure from the blower inflates the tubing within the downspout, using the downspout as an extended air conduit to facilitate debris removal. The rotatable connection incorporates tiered outer teeth and internal grooves with cross-channels, enabling secure assembly and rotational movement. A locking mechanism restricts the teeth from passing through the cross-channels, preventing unintended disconnection. This invention offers a cost-effective, adaptable solution for cleaning both gutters and downspouts safely from ground level, significantly reducing the risks associated with ladder-related injuries.
