Gutter Cleaning Device
The gutter cleaning device removes wet or dry debris in the gutter after being attached to a leaf blower, and is designed to be used while standing on the ground to reach gutters at the first, second and even third story levels without the need for a ladder. The gutter cleaning device includes a cleaning head and a lower portion that supports the cleaning head above the operator. The lower portion includes a both a fluid supply tube and a support rod that is separate from the fluid supply tube. The support rod is a rigid, telescoping rod. The fluid supply tube is a highly flexible tube that can shortened as needed by folding or gathering to match the length of the support rod, and can be folded or rolled into a small volume for storage.
Gutter cleaning apparatus
The invention provides an air operated cleaning head for a roof gutter. The head has a housing defining an airflow passage with an impeller located inside the passage. A gear arrangement connects the impeller to a drive shaft for a pair of driven wheels. Guide formations maintain the wheels in engagement along an outer rail of a roof gutter. The guide formations are configured to straddle the rail with a counterbalance provided to maintain the head in balancing engagement on the rail. The counterbalance is an underslung air supply downpipe extending pivotably from the head The guide formations are provided as a radial flange on the outside of the wheels and a radial spoke arrangement on the inside of the wheels. The spoke arrangement is freely rotatable on the wheel axles. The impeller is supported in a dividing wall of the flow passage. Drive shaft switching means includes a flap valve movable between seats on opposite sides of the dividing wall to reverse rotation of the impeller and thus also the wheels. The flap valve is secured to a pivot pin with a lever extending from the pin away from the flap valve connected to the downpipe by a spring, whereby pivoting of the downpipe in one direction produces a bias on the flap valve in an opposite direction.
GUTTER CLEANING DEVICE AND SYSTEM
A system and devices to clean a rain gutter include a selectively openable end cap provided at an end of a gutter that is configured to be selectively positionable between a closed state and an open state to access an interior of the gutter, and a plurality of debris collecting members configured fit inside the gutter and to be selectively inserted and removed from the gutter in a sliding manner, wherein each of the debris collecting members is configured to be coupled to another of the debris collecting members such that an entirety of coupled debris collecting members may be moved along the gutter by force applied to one end of the coupled debris collecting members.
BLOWER COMPRISING AN EYELET
A blower (100) may include a housing (110), a blower tube (150), a fan assembly (160) and an eyelet (190). The housing (110) may include a handle portion (144) defining a handle aperture (145). The blower tube (150) may extend forward from the housing (110) and define a tube axis (152). The fan assembly (160) may be operably coupled to the blower tube (150) to force air through the blower tube (150) responsive to operation of a motor (120). The eyelet (190) may be disposed on a side portion of the housing (110) proximate to the handle aperture (145).
GUTTER CLEANING APPARATUS
Gutter cleaning apparatus is disclosed. A pair of poles are connected together for a scissors-like action, with an elongated brush holder mounted at one end to the top of each pole and grips at the bottom for a user to hold and manipulate the poles. A pair of brushes configured for fitting within a gutter are mounted in depending relation to the other end of each brush holder so the brushes can be spread apart, lifted over the edge of a gutter and into the gutter to be cleaned. Once inside the gutter the user closes the brushes together, gathering and holding gutter debris that then can be lifted out of the gutter for disposal.
Gutter and downspout cleaning device and method
Example apparatuses and methods are directed to an apparatus for clearing a downspout connected to a gutter, methods of making the same, and methods of clearing a downspout. An example apparatus may include a base configured to be attached to an extension pole, and a hook secured to the base. The hook comprises a first projection, a second projection, and an intermediate curved portion joining the first and second projections. The second projection extends to an end knob and may be configured to be extended downward through a gutter to position the end knob within a downspout extending below the gutter while the base is positioned below an upper edge of the gutter adjacent the downspout.
System for Cleaning Gutters and Downspouts
A system for cleaning a rain gutter and downspout, the downspout having an opening therein that is covered by a spring-biased door. A rain gutter having an opening in the bottom thereof communicates with the downspout through that opening and in standard fashion. A cap is placed within the gutter, over the opening in the bottom of the gutter. The cap has an arcuate member extending over the opening in the gutter, substantially parallel to and in line with the top of the gutter. The system includes an air blower in communication with a tube having an outlet nozzle assembly at the end of the tube. The outlet nozzle assembly is configured to accommodate receipt by both the rain gutter and the door covering the opening in the downspout. The outlet nozzle assembly receives an air stream from the tube connected to the air blower. When the outlet nozzle is placed into the gutter and moved there along, the airstream blows debris from the gutter and onto the ground. When the outlet nozzle makes entry into the downspout, through the door, the airstream blows upwardly and is directed by the curvate member of the cap into the gutter for subsequent removal therefrom.
Universal gutter guard cleaning brush
A brush with bristles attached to multiple sides is designed to clean any gutter guard type that is manufactured today, including reverse curve type gutter guards. The brush has a main body of reverse-oriented bristles and accommodates an extension pole on the reverse side. When placed on top of the gutter guard, the brush can be pushed/pulled back and forth using the pole to dislodge any unwanted debris attached to the gutter guard's working surface. The use of the pole removes the need for a person to be on the roof when attempting to clean the gutter and/or gutter guard. With multiple bristle orientations, the brush can be used for other outdoor cleaning uses, such as house fixtures, structures, windows and so forth.
DOWNSPOUT DEBRIS CAPTURE SYSTEM AND METHOD
Devices, systems, and methods for capturing debris from downspouts are provided. Downspout debris collection devices are installed to exits of downspouts of a gutter system for a building. A construction activity is performed at a roof of the building and netting collects debris exiting the downspouts while allowing water to escape. The downspout debris collection devices, with the collected debris trapped therein, are subsequently removed and at least the collected debris are disposed of.
Pressure spray washer for cleaning gutters
A pressure spray washer for cleaning gutters has a body having a curved outer surface. The body has an internal channel opening at one end of said body, and a plurality of orifices extending through the body so as to have one end opening to the internal channel and an opposite end opening at an exterior surface of the body. The body has a connector at one end of the internal channel, which is adapted to connect with a source of a pressurized fluid.
