PIVOTABLE DOWNSPOUT EXTENSION SYSTEM
A pivotable downspout extension system includes an adapter coupleable to a fixed-position downspout via a downspout aperture, a bucket hingedly coupleable to the adapter, and an extension arm. The extension arm is received by an extension arm receiving portion located on the bucket. The bucket and the extension arm remain in a substantially vertical position until a sufficient amount of water enters the bucket so as to overcome the weight of a weight chamber of the bucket and move the bucket's center of gravity. The bucket with the extension arm then pivots on a fulcrum point, allowing the water to exit the extension arm. Once emptied, the weight chamber of the bucket pivots the bucket and extension arm to the substantially vertical position.
MULTI-DIRECTIONAL GUTTER DOWNSPOUT SYSTEM, AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING SAME
Disclosed herein is a water diverter comprising an adapter having a first end portion configured to be mounted to a lower end section of a gutter downspout, and a second end portion, and a curved pipe rotatably attached to the second end portion. Methods of making and using the diverter, and corresponding systems, also are described.
SOLAR CARPORT AND WATER MANAGEMENT AND ICICLE PREVENT SYSTEM FOR SOLAR CARPORTS AND CANOPIES
The embodiments are apparatuses, systems and methods of water management and icicle prevention for solar carports, and are designed to catch drips between rows of, and water run-off from, the low side of inclined photovoltaic modules arranged to form the roof of the solar carport or canopy.
SOLAR CARPORT AND WATER MANAGEMENT FOR SOLAR CARPORTS AND CANOPIES
The embodiments are apparatuses, systems and methods of water management and icicle prevention for solar carports, and are designed to catch drips between rows of, and water run-off from, the low side of inclined photovoltaic modules arranged to form the roof of the solar carport or canopy.
ELBOW AND PIPE
An elbow includes an elbow body, and a pipe wall of the elbow body is saw-toothed along an extending direction of the elbow body so that a bending angle of the elbow body is adjustable.
Mesh apparatus for diffusing rainwater droplets in a downspout
A mesh apparatus for use in a downspout of a drainage system of a building to reduce noise of passing rainwater is provided. The mesh apparatus includes a mesh assembly having a mesh sheet with a rolled portion, the mesh sheet having a plurality of wires connected together to form a plurality of openings disposed throughout the sheet, and a fastener coupled to the mesh assembly to retain the rolled portion of the mesh sheet in a rolled configuration. The mesh assembly is inserted into the downspout. Rainwater passing through the downspout contacts any portion of the connected wires in the rolled portion of the sheet assembly, thereby diffusing the rainwater.
Rain gutter diverter system
The rain gutter diverter system comprises an outer enclosure, a diverter, a height adjuster, and a ground hose. The outer enclosure extends a downspout. The diverter, located within the outer enclosure, collects and diverts a portion of the rainwater passing through the outer enclosure to a hose aperture on the side of the outer enclosure. A height adjuster coupled to the hose aperture passes the rainwater down to ground level where it enters a ground hose. The ground hose disperses the rainwater along the length of the ground hose. A flipper valve at the top of the diverter allows a user to prevent the diversion of rainwater. A debris guard above the diverter prevents debris from entering the diverter.
Drainage system and apparatus for treating runoff
A drainage system, comprising a collector which is arranged to collect liquid and a drainage pipe having a pipe inlet that opens into the collector such that liquid collected by the collector drains through the pipe inlet. The drainage pipe is provided with a vent spaced away from the pipe inlet. The vent is arranged such that, when liquid collected by the collector occludes the pipe inlet, liquid flowing through the drainage pipe draws air into the drainage pipe through the vent.
RESIDENTIAL OR COMMERCIAL INTEGRATED SEE-THROUGH EAVES AND DOWNSPOUT GUTTER SYSTEM
The present invention is a gutter system comprising at least a gutter section and one or more downspout sections. It may further incorporate one or more elbow sections. Each of the gutter, downspout and elbow sections may incorporate at least one see-through section. Such see-through sections allow for the monitoring of the rainwater flow and debris in the gutter system.
This monitoring facilitates detection of the exact spot of where debris collects in the gutter system, so that blockages in the gutter system can be predicted and prevented, debris build-up in the gutter system can be cleaned, and the gutter system can be repaired. Rainwater runoff can flow through the gutter system, and unnecessary cleaning of the gutter system, and the cost thereof, can be avoided. The elbow sections may incorporate an access port for access to the interior of the elbow, to permit the removal of debris therefrom.
Pivotable downspout extension system
A pivotable downspout extension system includes an adapter coupleable to a fixed-position downspout, an extension arm pivotally coupled to the adapter, the extension arm having a housing having counterweight apertures, counterweights configured to be received within the counterweight apertures, and a water channel extending from the housing, the water channel forming a pocket where the water channel joins the housing. The water channel remains substantially vertical until water weight exceeds the weight of the counterweights and causes the water channel to pivot and release water.
