The present invention relates to a cover assembly for a drain and vent pipe. The cover assembly comprises an attaching component, a slide latch, a screen wire, a gasket and multiple tooth configuration. The attaching component is positioned between the screen wire and the slide latch. The screen wire is detachable from the attaching component, thereby enabling easy cleaning and replacement of the screen wire. The slide latch includes the gasket made of silicone rubber, which is extruded into a mold into which the multiple tooth are placed. The multiple tooth grips to an outer surface of the drain or vent pipe, and prevents the cover assembly from sliding off during use. The slide latch is attached to the attaching component at one end and to an outer surface of the drain or vent pipe on the other end.

Disclosed herein is a water diverter comprising an adapter having a first end portion configured to be mounted to a lower end section of a gutter downspout, and a second end portion, and a curved pipe rotatably attached to the second end portion. Methods of making and using the diverter, and corresponding systems, also are described.

Gutter debris-grinding device

The gutter debris-grinding device attaches to a rain gutter directly above a downspout. A float switch attached to a float in the gutter senses when water is collecting in the gutter instead of draining through the downspout. The float switch may trigger a grinder motor to turn on, causing rotation of a grinder blade at the end of a grinder shaft located above the downspout. The float switch may also trigger an elevation motor to lower the grinder motor by rotating a leadscrew, causing the grinder blade to cut and/or break debris that may be blocking the entrance to the downspout. Upon sensing that the water level has gone down, or after a predetermined time interval, the grinder motor may be raised and the grinder blade may be stopped.

RAIN GUTTER DREDGER AND USE THEREOF
20200199879 · 2020-06-25 ·

This disclosure is directed to a system designed for automatic de-clogging a rain gutter and a downspout. The system (also referred to as a gutter dredger) comprises a motion device (motor) and a cleaning device. When it is raining, rain water can power the system to cause reciprocating motions of the cleaning device that can result in de-clogging of a gutter and a downspout that have the system installed. A debris removal device may be positioned in the downspout to remove big debris before it moves into the motor. The gutter dredger can be used for automatically de-clogging a gutter and downspout whenever it is raining.

Gutter assembly utilizing a latch actuated bottom debris release door
10508449 · 2019-12-17 ·

A gutter assembly utilizing a latch actuated bottom release door. This bottom debris release door allows built-up debris, snow, and the like to be quickly and effectively removed from the gutter such that conventional clearing and cleaning methodologies are not necessary. The latch mechanism utilized can be conveniently actuated from the ground using an extension pole or the like. Optionally, an electronic release mechanism can be provided. The gutter assembly of the present invention can be used with a variety of conventional or custom bracings, end caps, downspouts, connectors, corner pieces, etc., well known to those of ordinary skill in the art, and can be installed like any conventional gutter. All components of the gutter assembly can be extruded, molded, three-dimensional (3-D) printed, or the like.

Rain gutter diverter system

The rain gutter diverter system comprises an outer enclosure, a diverter, a height adjuster, and a ground hose. The outer enclosure extends a downspout. The diverter, located within the outer enclosure, collects and diverts a portion of the rainwater passing through the outer enclosure to a hose aperture on the side of the outer enclosure. A height adjuster coupled to the hose aperture passes the rainwater down to ground level where it enters a ground hose. The ground hose disperses the rainwater along the length of the ground hose. A flipper valve at the top of the diverter allows a user to prevent the diversion of rainwater. A debris guard above the diverter prevents debris from entering the diverter.
