A mist releasing awning assembly for producing a cooling mist from a commercially available bottle of drinking water includes a vertical support and a commercially available bottle of drinking water. A frame is releasably attachable to the vertical support and an awning is removably positionable on the frame. A spray tube is coupled to the frame and a spray unit is coupled to the frame. The commercially available bottle of drinking water is fluidly coupled to the spray unit and the spray unit is in fluid communication with the spray tube. The spray unit urges water in the commercially available bottle of drinking water outwardly through the spray tube to produce a mist for cooling a user.

A seal enclosure protects a tubular motor that is configured to drive an awning roller. The seal enclose includes a motor box sized to fit over an end of the tubular motor, a motor box extension engaging the motor box and including a circumferential protrusion, a gasket positioned between the motor box and the motor box extension, and a flexible seal engaging the circumferential protrusion and configured to engage the awning roller. The motor box, the motor box extension and the flexible seal define a closed housing for the tubular motor.

The powered groove includes at least one track (70, 72) having electrical conductors (84, 85) therein. An accessory base (54) is provided for connection with a plurality of powered accessories (32, 34, 36, 37), including but not limited to, lights, fans or audio-video equipment. The accessory base provides electrical connection between the powered groove and the accessory to provide improved function in the outdoor living space beneath and around the awning.

The cover fabric is connected with and is selectively reeled around the reeling axle. The lock device has a casing, a pushing rod, and a lock cylinder. The casing is mounted on the housing. The pushing rod is moveably mounted through the casing and has an end selectively engaged with one end of the reeling axle. The lock cylinder is mounted in the casing and is selectively engaged with the pushing rod. When the lock cylinder is engaged with the pushing rod, the pushing rod is engaged with the reeling axle.

An awning assembly having an awning connection system for coupling an awning canopy to a support structure and providing a cover to the awning canopy when the awning assembly is in a closed position. The awning connection system comprises a unitary film segment having a distal end connected to the awning canopy and a proximal end for securing to the support structure. The unitary film segment further comprises an attached region for coupling the unitary film segment to the awning canopy.

Articulation is obtained through disks fixed to cooperating ends of the arms, the disks being intercalated between them and being crossed by an articulation pin, forming an articulation joint with the discs. The pin being hollow and has its upper end opening into an upper cavity which is obtained in the upper disc of the joint and which also houses a printed circuit board. At least one LED is mounted thereon facing an axial cavity of the pin, within which, a light guide is housed opening at the lower end of the axial cavity.
