KIT OF PARTS FOR TRIMMING STEP EDGES
An apparatus for trimming step edges includes a nose piece for locating at an edge of a horizontal existing surface, a covering board for covering the horizontal existing surface, and a riser board for locating a top of the riser board at or adjacent the edge with the board in an upright orientation. The nose piece includes at its rear a recess for receiving a projecting tongue of the covering board, which cooperate to retain the covering board positioned against the existing surface. The apparatus additionally features a fastener projecting forwardly at a bottom of the tongue for mechanically coupling with a distinct locking recess in the nose piece. The apparatus also features a receptacle for placing at a rear of the covering board to receive another riser board, which conceals a gap between the rear edge of the covering board and an upright surface upstanding from the existing surface.
Fence panel display systems and methods
Fence panel display systems can include a unitary foundation including a plurality of steps, at least one rail extending along the width of one of the steps, and at least two clamp assemblies adjustably coupled to the rail. A fence panel can be clamped to the foundation using the clamp assemblies by adjusting the clamp assemblies along the width of the step and by adjusting protrusions extending from main bodies of the clamp assemblies in a direction perpendicular to the width of the step.
System To Deter External Climbing of Open Stairs
The present invention provides a guard which is a surface that is adapted for mounting over the open end of the tread of a step of an open stairway such that when associated with a stairway: the exposed area of the OTEP is reduced. The present invention further provides for a retention means to maintain stable association of the guard with the stairway. The present invention further comprises kits comprising one or more guards, one or more retention means and instructions for use.

STAIR NOSE MOLDING, AND METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MAKING A STAIR NOSE MOLDING
A method of making a stair nose molding is provided that includes obtaining a flooring plank. The flooring plank includes a core layer, a padding layer covering the core layer, a first edge and a second edge. Moreover, the method includes milling the padding layer along the first edge of the flooring plank, heating the flooring plank, and positioning the first edge of the flooring plank against a first side of the molding member. Furthermore, the method includes bending the flooring plank about a curved end of the molding member to create a curved part of the flooring plank, positioning a remaining part of the flooring plank adjacent a second side of the molding member, and applying pressure to the remaining part of the plank adjacent the second side of the molding member and to the part of the plank adjacent the first side of the molding machine.
The nose piece includes at its rear a recess spaced from a top of the nose piece that receives a projecting tongue of the covering board. These cooperate to retain the covering board positioned against the existing surface. The apparatus also features a receptacle receiving another riser board in a position upstanding from the existing surface. The receptacle is locatable at a rear of the covering board in spaced relation to the nose piece so as to conceal a gap between the rear edge of the covering board and an upright surface upstanding from the existing surface.
