STANDOFF FOR MOUNTING PANEL AND METHOD FOR MOUNTING PANELS
A standoff for mounting panels such as glass panels in architectural applications include a plurality of parts that are first mounted to the panel and are then used to identify the locations for the anchor fasteners in the support structure or to locate the anchor fasteners as they are driven into the support structure. One configuration includes a bushing that defines a through opening. The bushing is placed through an opening the panel to be mounted. A barrel defining its own opening is then placed on the portion of the bushing that extends from the panel. The through hole of the bushing is aligned with the opening of the bushing such that an anchor fastener can pass through the bushing and the barrel into a support structure to which the panel is to be mounted.
RAILING BASE SHOE AND WEATHER SEAL SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system and method for waterproofing the interface between a base shoe and a panel is provided. The system includes a weather seal adapted to extend between an inner side wall of the base shoe and an adjacent surface of the panel to seal the gap therebetween. The system includes an elongate groove formed in the inner side wall at a downward offset angle and including a groove entrance that is accessible from directly above. The weather seal includes a foot adapted to be received into the elongate groove when the seal is configured to seal the gap. In this way, the seal may be installed from above and the seal's foot may be pressed into the groove via the groove entrance to secure the seal in place.
ANCHOR PLATFORM ASSEMBLY ESPECIALLY USEFUL FOR ROOF ACCESSORY STRUCTURES
An anchor platform assembly for anchoring an object to a structure includes an anchor baseplate having a generally planar first surface and second surface, an elongated post coupled to the baseplate and projecting outwardly from the first surface thereof. The post has a first end secured to the anchor baseplate, a second free end, and an at least partially threaded, cylindrical blind bore extending from the first surface of the anchor baseplate into the post, with the second surface of the anchor baseplate being configured to allow the structure to lie generally flush against the second surface except for the area of the second surface covered by the post. A cylindrical mechanical fastener having a straight thread is used for fastening an object to the anchor baseplate via the blind bore. A dual post anchor assembly is also disclosed.
MOVABLE PLATFORM FOR A PATH
An amusement park attraction system includes a user path extending through at least a portion of the amusement park attraction system, a railing extending along the user path, and a platform slidingly and rotatably coupled to the railing. The platform is configured to translate along the railing to position the platform relative to the user path, and the platform is configured to rotate relative to the user path to adjust between a stowed configuration and a deployed configuration.
Guard for container
The guard includes a left side extension operably connected to a left segment, the left segment operably connected to a left corner, the left corner operably connected to a middle segment, the middle segment operably connected to a right corner, the right corner operably connected to a right segment, the right segment operably connected to a right extension, wherein each of the left segment, the middle segment and the right segment comprise at least one support maintaining a distance of each of the left segment, the middle segment and the right segment from a supporting surface, and wherein the left segment, the middle segment and the right segment are configured to form a first opening, the first opening so dimensioned and configured as to accept insertion of a first container.
Reinforced Mechanical Post
A reinforced post comprises a baseplate and a reinforcement member having at least one channel, with each channel for receiving a bolt. The baseplate has a hole for each channel. For each hole a bolt is engaged with the channel through the hole to secure the reinforcement member to the baseplate. A hollow post is positioned over the reinforcement member.
Newel post support
A support for the lower end of a newel post, comprising: a screw having a first screw thread at one end portion, a second screw thread at the other end portion and a third screw thread at an intermediate position along the screw; and a base plate having a centrally located threaded hole and auxiliary holes arranged around the periphery of the base plate; wherein the first screw thread is for engaging within a substrate for the newel post; the third screw thread is adapted to threadedly engage with the centrally located threaded hole to retain the base plate on the screw so that the base plate abuts the surface of the substrate engaged by the first screw thread; the other end portion of said screw is adapted to extend through a longitudinal passage in the lower end of the newel post and to terminate within an intersecting transverse opening spaced upwardly from the lower end of the newel post so that a nut screwed onto the second screw thread can apply a loading to the newel post to clamp the lower end against the base plate; and the auxiliary holes are for co-operating with auxiliary screws to fasten the base plate to the substrate.
Stanchion
Generally, a stanchion including a base configured to fasten to a support surface to dispose an elongate member in an upright condition. Specifically, a plurality of stanchions configured for interconnection by barrier elements to cordon off an area with a barrier wall.
POST MOUNT ASSEMBLY ADAPTED TO WITHSTAND A CORROSIVE ENVIRONMENT
A post mount assembly adapted to resist the corrosive effects of sea air through the incorporation of a 100% stainless-steel hardware. The 100% stainless-steel hardware includes a post sleeve with a base plate for engaging a lower portion of a post, thereby providing a support structure not susceptible to corrosion, rust and other destabilizing natural processes possible in a high-saline, moist environments. The post mount assembly provides a leveling function that embodies a leveling plate disposed between the base plate and the supporting surface so that leveling fasteners can selectively raise at least a portion of the base plate relative to the (unlevel) supporting surface. Thereby, the post mount assembly maintains the structural integrity of supported handrails and/or handrail posts.
Adjustable glass grip
An adjustable clamping system for mounting a glass balustrade. The adjustable clamping system comprises of a base shoe with a U-shaped channel, a first L-shaped plate, a second L-shaped plate and a third L-shaped plate which a tilting mechanism sits on the short-upright arm and the long-upright arm is engaged to the glass balustrade from an outside and to the tilting mechanism from an inside. The tilting mechanism comprises of a first-block and a second-cube, an L-shaped block at the bottom, and two wedge parts between the L-shaped block and the first-block and the second-cube, and wherein the first-cube, the second-block and the L-shaped block connected together by two socket screws, by turning the socket screws, two wedge parts at a top portion and a bottom portion of the tilting mechanism move to the right and left and push to the right-side wall of the base shoe to adjust the glass balustrade.
