FRAMELESS GLASS FENCING COMPONENT
In one aspect there is disclosed a frameless glass fencing component (40) for a frameless glass fencing installation. The frameless glass fencing component (40) is produced from an engineering plastic and includes a substantially rigid reinforcing member (42).
Adaptable Panel Mounting System
A panel mounting system for mounting a linear panel structure on a surface, having a plurality of posts, each having a base plate with mounting surfaces for surface attachment and a vertical extension having a lateral support beam perpendicular to a panel-receiving cross beam; first and second opposing semi-circular channels within first and second ends of the panel-receiving cross beam, wherein each channel forms a channel angle of 45 to 135 degrees relative to the lateral support beam; a hollow, circular cylindrical insert insertable into each channel; and a panel mountable between each pair of adjacent posts, each end of the panel insertable into a corresponding insert.
Horizontal panel alignment system
A system is disclosed for holding a panel in a u-channel comprising a rocking grip configured to be positioned in the u-channel on a first side of the panel and a tilting grip configured to be positioned in the u-channel on a second side of the panel, opposite the first side for adjusting an angular position of the panel. The rocking grip includes a rotatable rocking plate for abutting the first side of the panel. The tilting grip includes a tilting plate for abutting the second side of the panel a moveable top cam for rotating the tilting plate in a first direction and a moveable bottom cam for rotating the tilting plate in a second direction, opposite the first direction.
Glass railing anchor system
An improved glass railing anchor system for multiple glass panels in high-rise buildings which can experience hurricane strength winds, and which includes an elongated base member having two hollow wall sections which create a channel for receiving the glass panels. Aligned with and beneath the hollow wall sections are integral keyways which anchor assembly's which include mounting plates, elevated rails and a central mounting post that also elevate the base member to allow for drainage. The anchor assemblies are slidable and can be selectively positioned for easy and secure installation. The base member, hollow wall sections, keyway and drainage areas can be integrally incorporated into a unitary device.
Fascia Mounted Railing System
A fascia mounted railing system that uses brackets that secure posts to a slab while also providing base support for a infill panels without the use of a base rail. The system does this by using a bracket to secure the posts and a second bracket that fits within the bottom of the post. This bracket has end flanges that extend outwardly from the post to support an infill panel. The infill panels can have a base treatment to conceal the face of the slab, if desired, for a more aesthetically pleasing appearance. In addition, the system has the capacity for a top railing that can be attached to the back of the posts as a grab rail, or attached to the top of the posts (with a bracket) for a top rail.
Adjustment part
An adjustment part for adjusting, in conjunction with installation and fastening, the vertical straightness or position of railing type assemblies, such as glass railings, extending in vertical direction and being fastenable by a bottom edge region, said adjustment part being placed at a fastening point of the railing assembly between the railing assembly and a mounting surface therefor, said adjustment part comprising two mutually inclinable components, a space established between these components for locking a relative position of said mutually inclinable components with a hardening mass, as well as a conduit extending from an external surface of the adjustment part into said space for supplying said space with the hardening mass.
LOCKING T-BOLTS, POST SLEEVES, POST SLEEVES WITH SHEAR CONNECTIONS, AND RELATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A post sleeve including a first mounting plate including a first mounting hole. The post sleeve also can include a second mounting plate including a second mounting hole, The post sleeve additionally can include a channel portion extending between the first mounting plate and the second mounting plate. The channel portion can include a channel configured to secure a post within the channel. The first and second mounting plates can be configured to be attached to an anchor channel of an edge angle. Other embodiments are described.
Railing anchor
A balcony railing anchor arrangement for a balcony that has a wooden support and a wooden deck on the wooden support. A first metal plate on the wooden deck has threaded holes, and a moisture barrier covers the wooden deck. A lag bolt extends downward from the metal plate through the wooden deck and secured in the wooden support to secure the metal plate onto the wooden deck and the wooden support. Threaded studs extend upward from the holes in the first metal plate. Concrete can be poured on the moisture barrier and the first metal plate and a second metal plate with a post for a railing on the balcony can be mounted atop the concrete by aligning holes in the second metal plate with the studs.
Washer assembly for use in affixing a guardrail support to a surface
A washer assembly for use in affixing a guardrail support to a floor surface. The washer assembly holding at least one washer in place such that it does not fall out during assembly of the guardrail, disassembly of the guardrail, or transport of the materials.
Fascia mounted railing system
A fascia mounted railing system that uses brackets that secure the posts to the slab while also providing base support for the infill panels without the use of a base rail. It does this by using a bracket to secure the posts and a second bracket that fits within the bottom of the post.
