FIXING SYSTEM FOR A PANEL COMPRISING MEANS FOR ADJUSTING THE INCLINATION AND RELATIVE PROCEDURE FOR ADJUSTMENT
20230323673 · 2023-10-12 ·

Disclosed is an apparatus for the connection of one or more panels to a building element, the apparatus including: a support profile, provided with an anchor base fixed to an installation surface of the building element, a first and a second wing and a cavity, which acts as a seat for at least a portion or edge of the panel; a system designed to adjust the laying set-up of the panel with respect to the support profile, so as to adjust the inclination of the panel with respect to the building element or to panels adjacent thereto. The laying set-up adjustment system of the panel provides an adjustment assembly, capable of providing the edge of the panel with a controllable rotation around a fulcrum and of adjusting the inclination of said panel.

A modular system including a surface-defining assembly having a plurality of panels. Each panel includes a plate portion, a first connector disposed towards and extending along a first side of the plate portion, and a second connector disposed towards and extending along a second side of the plate portion. The first and second connectors of adjacent panels are configured to engage one another to thereby engage the plurality of panels with one another in side-by-side relation such that the plate portions cooperate to define a continuous surface of the surface-defining assembly.

Picket railing anchor system

An improved picket railing anchor system for multiple picket railings for buildings, balconies, and decks, which can experience different forces being applied by people, objects or hurricane strength winds. The system includes an elongated base member having integral keyways which receive anchor assemblies having mounting plates, elevated rails and a central mounting post that also can elevate the base member to allow for drainage. The anchor assemblies are slidable and can be selectively positioned for easy and secure installation.

Railing and support structures with internal illumination

A railing assembly includes a bottom rail and a top rail extending parallel thereto and spaced apart therefrom. Both rails include a beam defining through-holes and corresponding pocket-holes located opposite from the other rail to define ledges facing away from the other rail. A plurality of balusters of light-transmissive material each extend between the bottom rail and the top rail, through a corresponding through-hole and pocket-hole in each railing. Retaining rings are disposed around each of the balusters within each of the pocket-holes for engaging the ledges and thereby holding the balusters to each rail. Each rail may include a plate of light-transmissive material extending in a plane adjacent the beam and configured to project light along a length thereof. One or more illumination sources are disposed in the top rail and/or the bottom rail to direct light into the balusters and/or the plate(s) to provide options for multiple illumination effects.

Taper-Loc System Improvements

An improved base shoe for use with panel installation and removal systems. The improved base shoe includes dovetail grooves for use with a safety-seal and a weather seal, wherein the safety-seal and weather seal must be installed prior to installing a glass panel. The improved base shoe features a recess for use with taper plates having a continuous projection along an upper surface. The base shoe and taper plates are configured so as to provide a prying surface between the projection on the taper plates and a wall of the base shoe.

RAILING ASSEMBLIES AND METHODS OF INSTALLATION

A railing system includes at least one post and at least one rod defining a first distal end and a second distal end. The railing system further includes at least one connector assembly. The at least one connector assembly operably couples one of the first distal end or the second distal end of the at least one rod to the at least one post.

Systems and methods for deck railings and deck railing sheer strut hardware
11802409 · 2023-10-31 ·

A hardware system for use on a deck railing includes two pair of flat shear struts, one pair on each the lower and upper main rail each extending up to the length of each main rail between the deck posts. Both the upper and lower main rail shear strut pairs are identical and a mirror image of one another. The hardware system further includes an infill embodiment that includes a sub-rail that houses one of the shear struts in each pair, is attached to the sub-rail which is further attached to the balusters between the upper sub-rail and the lower sub-rail. The second shear strut in each pair is attached to the underside of the main upper rail and on top of the main lower rail. When the infill embodiment is placed into the deck railing frame opening, screws hold the railing infill in place creating a removable deck railing.

Baluster attachment mechanism having securing resilient flanges
11828068 · 2023-11-28 · ·

A multi-directional railing support includes a fastener having a first threaded end that attaches to a substrate and a second threaded end. A securing portion is attached to the second threaded end and includes outwardly extending resilient flanges. The securing portion and the second threaded end define a receiving stud. The securing portion is axially adjustable relative to the second threaded end to adjust a clearance space between the securing portion and the substrate. A baluster includes a hollow end that extends over the outwardly extending resilient flanges of the receiving stud. The outwardly extending resilient flanges cooperate with the hollow end to provide for movement of the baluster toward the substrate and contemporaneously prevent movement of the baluster away from the substrate. The outwardly extending resilient flanges bias the baluster toward a rotational axis of the fastener.

Locking mechanism for spindle
11525267 · 2022-12-13 · ·

Provided in this disclosure is a selectively replaceable spindle for a banister. A generally longitudinal spindle body has a first end for engaging a first attachment portion on a surface of a handrail of a banister, and a second end for engaging a second attachment portion on an opposite surface from the handrail. A securement member is releasably secured with one or both of the first and second ends of the generally longitudinal spindle body. The securement member is urged into one of the first or second attachment portions to retain the spindle therein. One or more pins extend transversely from a side surface of the securement member, for engaging a cooperative structure on the spindle body to retain the securement member in a locked position.
