A method for producing a surface covering system comprising magnetically receptive layers affixed to surface covering units and magnetized underlayments for use in securing surface covering units to supporting surfaces. The system includes isotropic magnetized floor covering units and anisotropic magnetized underlays for securing surface covering units. The system includes a set of formulations including ferrites and rare earth materials, oils and plasticizer and binding agents to optimize performance to meet design and application criteria.
Floor And Wall Panel System
A decorative wall system is provided that includes a number of panels that can be secured to an underlying wall and to one another in an overlapping configuration to provide a multi-layer, three-dimensional appearance to the wall. In one embodiment of the wall system, the system includes individual panels that include a decorative front surface and a rear surface. The rear surface includes undercuts along each side of the rear surface that can be positioned over the side edges of the front surface of an adjacent wall panel. The panels may each include an adhesive layer including compressible strings therein that assist the adhesive in holding the panel on a surface by forming a vacuum between the panel and the surface to which the panel is attached.
Panel suitable for assembling a waterproof floor or wall covering, method of producing a panel
The invention relates in a first aspect, to a panel suitable for assembling a waterproof floor or wall covering by interconnecting a plurality of said panels with each other, wherein the panel has a substantially planar top surface, and a substantially planar bottom surface, at least four substantially linear side edges comprising at least one pair of opposite side edges which are provided with interconnecting coupling means for interconnecting one panel within another. The invention also relates to a method of producing a panel according to the invention.
Insulated building structure
An insulated building structure, in particular an insulated roof structure or a wall structure of a building, comprises at least one thermal insulation layer. At least one moisture-variable protective layer for the thermal insulation layer is provided on an outer side of the thermal insulation layer and on an inner side of the thermal insulation layer facing a building interior of the building. The protective layers each have a water vapor diffusion equivalent air layer thickness S.sub.d. The water vapor diffusion equivalent air layer thicknesses S.sub.d of the two protective layers deviate from each other by less than 20%, preferably less than 10%, in the range of a relative humidity from 0% to 25% and/or in the range of a relative humidity from 80% to 100%.
WOODEN FACADE ELEMENT
It is provided a cross-laminated wood façade element (1) that has an upper end (12) and a lower end (13), an inner surface (3), an outer surface (2) and a longitudinal axis (28) in the direction from the upper end (12) to the lower end (13), said element (1) comprising an inner layer (4) of timber elements (7) and at least one intermediate layer (5) of timber elements (7) where the grain of the timber elements (7) of the inner layer (4) and grain of the timber elements (7) of the at least one intermediate layer (5) are at least partially oriented in different directions, the façade element (1) further comprising an outer layer (6) comprising timber elements (7) in which the grain direction is oriented approximately parallel to the longitudinal axis (28), characterized in that the outer surface (2) of the façade element (1) has grooves (11) that are approximately parallel to the longitudinal axis (28).
Composite panels and methods for manufacture and installation thereof
Panels usable for construction of a surface, to provide the surface with a desired appearance, durability, water, air, and fire resistance, dimensions, and weight include a layer of substrate material having first and second sides. Finish elements are positioned on the first side, while a backing material is positioned on the second side, such that the substrate bonds the finish elements to the backing material. Particulate material can also be included, such as within spaces between finish elements. Manufacture of such panels can include use of a vacuum system that acquires finish elements in a selected orientation, acquires particulate material into spaces unoccupied by finish elements, then deposits the arranged finish elements and particulate material into a mold for subsequent manufacturing steps. Use of lightweight, durable materials, such as magnesium oxide, can enable panels having a reduced thickness and weight to be manufactured, without sacrificing durability or longevity.
Floor or wall covering panel with rigid composite core layer
A floor or wall covering panel has a top and a bottom surface, and at least four sides, where a first and a second side include a first and a second connection profile, respectively, the first profile being configured for mechanically engaging and interlocking with the second profile of another panel, the first profile including a tongue protruding beyond the top edge of the first side, where the second profile includes a groove recessed with respect to the top edge of the second side, the groove is delimited at its bottom by a base, the panel is of laminar structure including a rigid core layer and a wear layer arranged on the core layer, where the core layer includes a first and a second sublayer of a first and a second composite material, respectively, the second sublayer being arranged atop the first sublayer, where both composite materials comprise thermoplastic material and filler material but are of different formulations, and the base delimiting the groove bottom is realized essentially within the first core sublayer.
COMPOSITE INSULATING PANEL
An insulating siding panel comprises a backing member, and a siding member. The backing member comprises a front face, a rear face, a top face, and a bottom face. The siding member has an upper end, a lower end, and a nailing divot. An upper end of the backing member combines with the upper end of the siding member to form a tongue. A groove is defined in the bottom face of the backing member that is complementary in shape to the tongue. the nailing divot of the lower panel may be concealed by a front section of the backing member of the upper panel.
Decorative Panel, and Decorative Floor Covering Consisting of Said Panels
In the field of decorative floor coverings, decorative panels are known having a MDF (Medium Density Board) or HDF (High Density Board) based core layer on top of which a decorative substrate is attached to provide the panels a desired appearance. The invention relates to a panel, in particular a decorative panel, a floor panel, a ceiling panel or a wall panel. The invention also relates to a floor covering consisting of a plurality of mutually coupled panels.
