CONSTRUCTION MEMBER
A construction member of one embodiment of the present disclosure includes a decorative film and a pre-mask: that is laminated to the decorative film and removed alter application of the decorative film is described. The decorative film includes: a transparent resin film having, an embossed first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface; a printed layer disposed on the second surface of the transparent resin: film; and a colored adhesive layer disposed on or above the printed layer. The pre-mask includes: a support film having a first surface and a second, surface opposite: the first surface; and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer that has an uneven surface and: is disposed on the first, surface of the support film. The first surface of the transparent resin film of the decorative film and the uneven surface of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer of the pre-mask face each other.
UNIT BRACKET, BRACKET AND BRACKET CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR ATTACHING TO BASE MATERIAL AND WALL USING THE SAME
The present disclosure has the following configurations. The present disclosure relates to a unit bracket in a square shape, in which outer surfaces of four surfaces of the unit bracket are formed with locking projections configured to insert a metal or plastic panel, and a center portion of the unit bracket is formed with a mesh part to be formed such that the bonding is possible at a vertical tensile strength and a horizontal tensile strength having desired forces even if the unit bracket and a wall or a base material are bonded with an adhesive, in order to bond the unit bracket to the wall or the base material.
Tile alternative material
Methods and associated apparatuses are described herein that provide a tile alternative material. The tile alternative material may be manufactured by providing a substrate that defines a first surface, and a second surface opposite the first surface. The second surface is configured to be secure, via an adhesive or otherwise, to a support surface. The method further includes coating an exterior layer on the first surface of the substrate, and forming a pattern element in the first surface of the substrate. Forming the pattern element includes removing material from the substrate and the coated exterior layer of the first surface to form one or more recessed portions.
METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND PANELS FOR CUSTOMIZED RETROFIT OF A BUILDING EXTERIOR
Methods, systems, and panels for retrofitting an existing exterior of a building. In one example, the method may include: (a) obtaining data about an exterior geometry of the existing exterior; (b) using the obtained data, defining a custom retrofit panel system for the exterior geometry; and (c) constructing the custom retrofit panel system including a plurality of panels, in which constructing a panel includes: (i) forming a panel frame by additive manufacturing, the panel frame defining interstitial spaces; (ii) at least partially filling the interstitial spaces with at least one filler; and (iii) in which the constructed panel includes a building facing surface configured to mate with the exterior geometry of the existing exterior.
MOISTURE POROUS BUILDING FURRING STRIP
A rigid moisture and air porous building furring strip for building walls and certain roof structures has an elongate outer facer sheet and an elongate inner facer sheet with an outer face. An open cellular core is sealed to and between the facer sheets that is porous to both air and moisture. A soft self-sealing butyl-like adhesive layer is optionally on the outer face of the inner face sheet for attachment of the furring strip to the outside of the build and underneath exterior cladding.
Tile Setting Structure and Method of Setting Tile
A method of setting tile includes constructing a floor panel and a plurality of wall panels and attaching each of the plurality of wall panels to either the floor panel or one of the other wall panels with a waterproof caulk. Each of the wall panels includes a first rigid layer, a second rigid layer attached to the first rigid layer by a thinset mortar, and a waterproofing layer formed of a flexible material and attached to the second rigid layer by the thinset mortar.
DRY-CAST LIGHTWEIGHT VENEER BLOCK, SYSTEM, AND METHOD
Described are dry cast lightweight veneer blocks and a system and method of installing lightweight veneer blocks. The courses can be assembled without mortar between the courses. As an example, sides of the veneer blocks have areas that recede from an imaginary plane between adjacent veneer blocks to give a deep texturing and a shadow effect between veneer blocks. The installation system and method include a substrate, an air barrier applied to the substrate, a plurality of veneer blocks, and an adhesive applied between the plurality of veneer blocks and the air barrier.
LAMINATED FOAM COMPOSITE BACKER BOARD FOR WET SPACE CONSTRUCTION, AND METHOD FOR MAKING THE SAME
A laminated foam composite backer board comprising: a foam core; a first adhesive layer on each face of the foam core; a polymeric film layer on the outer face of each first adhesive layer; a second adhesive layer on the outer face of each polymeric film layer; and a non-woven fabric layer on the outer face of each second adhesive layer.
Foam finger
A foam finger, in particular as a palm enlargement, advertising space or to be carried during sports events, that is comprised of at least two side faces connected to each other. At least a portion of a side face comprises a printed lenticular foil and/or a lenticular foil with images stuck behind it.
Fiber enforced thin brick sheet and process
Methods of manufacturing thin brick sheets are disclosed. The thin brick sheets can be used as a wall or floor covering. The methods can include adhering a plurality of thin bricks to a backing layer with an adhesive. The backing layer defines a grid that includes a plurality of holes, is non-stretchable, and can provide strength and rigidity to the thin brick sheets.
