A flooring system includes a plurality of individual flooring pieces, such as floor panels, each having a wear surface, an opposing mounting surface and a retention groove disposed within the mounting surface. A floor panel connector used to interconnect at least two of the floor panels has a base, at least one mast extending from an upper surface of the base and a pair of flexible arms. Each flexible arm extends transversely from opposing sides of the at least one mast and has an extending end. Contacting portions extending from a lower surface of the base are configured to engage the support surface and create a spacing between each flexible arm and the support surface to permit each flexible arm to elastically deflect toward the support surface when pressure is exerted on a floor panel. This deflection enables the extending end of each flexible arm to engage the retention groove of a corresponding floor panel.

Method for sealing a joint

Provided is a joint treatment method that enables smooth joint treatment without damaging the ultraviolet radiation curable resin formed on the interior sheet surface. The joint treatment method is for joining a butt joint portion of interior sheets, the protective layer being formed as a surface layer of each of the interior sheets. The method includes: (1) a step of injecting a joint treatment agent, which has no dissolving ability with respect to at least the protective layer, into the butt joint portion; and (2) a step of attaching, before the injected joint treatment agent is cured, an adhesive tape so as to straddle the butt joint portion such that the tape is in contact with the protective layer and the joint treatment agent present in the butt joint portion.

FLOORBOARD CONNECTING BASE AND FLOORBOARD CONNECTING STRUCTURE

A floorboard connecting base and a floorboard connecting structure are disclosed in the application. The floorboard connecting base includes a base body, a convex part and a limiting part. The convex part is located at an end of an upper surface of the base body. The limiting part is located at the upper surface of the base body, and is spaced from the convex part to form an installation groove for inserting a floorboard unit, and a free end of the limiting part is bent in a direction towards the convex part to form a step block for limiting the floorboard unit. The floorboard connecting structure according to the disclosure is of a locking type, so it can be paved without glue due to a locking force, which is environment-friendly. A whole structure may extend all around with change of temperature, and there will be no uplift or cracking.

A building panel, such as a floor panel or wall panel, has a first mechanical locking device at a respective first edge and an opposite second edge, such as long edges, for horizontal and vertical locking of similar or essentially identical building panels in an assembled position. The building panel further has a second mechanical locking device at a respective third edge and an opposite fourth edge for horizontal and vertical locking of similar building panels or essentially identical building panels in an assembled position. The first mechanical locking device includes, at the first edge, a tongue groove configured to receive a first locking tongue at the second edge.
