SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FILLING CONSTRUCTION JOINT SPACES
A method for filling a construction joint space includes applying a primer layer to one or more construction member edges of one or more construction members, and chemically reacting a filler layer with the primer layer to at least partially fill a remainder of the construction joint space with the filler layer. The construction member edge(s) at least partially form the construction joint space. The primer layer can include an epoxy primer. The filler layer can include at least one of a polyurea and a polyurethane. The epoxy primer can be covered with the filler layer. The method can also include the step of applying a filler retainer to a top surface of the construction member to substantially confine the filler layer within the joint space. A system for filling construction joint spaces includes one or more of a primer layer, a filler layer and a filler retainer.
Floor covering with interlocking design
Surface coverings, such as floor coverings, with an interlocking design are described. Methods of making the surface coverings are further described. A plank including a resilient composite sheet having four sides, an upper surface, a lower surface, and an overall thickness, and said composite sheet comprising at least one base layer, wherein said at least one base layer comprising at least one polymeric material and at least one filler, wherein opposite sides of the composite sheet comprise a first tongue on a first side and a first groove on the opposite second side, wherein the first tongue and first groove have complementary shape to each other to be interlockingly engageable with a corresponding groove or tongue on an adjacent floor plank.
Hard Surface Connection System, Method and Product
A tile system for covering a surface. The tile system comprises first and second tile assemblies, each tile assembly having a connector comprising a first attachment feature and a second attachment feature. The first attachment component is configured to engage with a corresponding second attachment component of an adjacent connector. The connectors include or are configured to receive at least one magnetic component and preferably to maintain a gap between complementary magnetic elements when the first and second tile assemblies are connected. Also provided is a tool for removing a tile assembly from the tile system.
Method For Producing Floorboards, and Method For Sealing Connection Regions of a Floor Covering
The invention relates to a method for producing floorboards for a floor covering with at least partly coated end faces. A plurality of floorboards are provided, each of which has multiple end faces, and at least one of the end faces of the plurality of floorboards is at least partly coated with a material which can be biologically grown or a component of a material which can be biologically grown in order to form a respective at least partly coated end face. The invention additionally relates to a method for sealing connection regions of a floor covering which has multiple floorboards, wherein multiple floorboards are produced for a floor covering with at least partly coated end faces using an aforementioned method for producing floorboards, and the floorboards are arranged on an underlying surface such that one of the coated end faces of the floorboards contacts a respective other end face of another floorboard of the floorboards while at least partly forming a connection region. The material which can be biologically grown or a material which is made of the aforementioned component can be biologically grown is biologically grown, and the connection region between the coated end face and the other end face is sealed.
FLOOR COVERING WITH INTERLOCKING DESIGN
Surface coverings, such as floor coverings, with an interlocking design are described. Methods of making the surface coverings are further described. A plank including a resilient composite sheet having four sides, an upper surface, a lower surface, and an overall thickness, and said composite sheet including at least one base layer, wherein said at least one base layer including at least one polymeric material and at least one filler, wherein opposite sides of the composite sheet include a first tongue on a first side and a first groove on the opposite second side, wherein the first tongue and first groove have complementary shape to each other to be interlockingly engageable with a corresponding groove or tongue on an adjacent floor plank.
Floor Board and Method for Manufacturing Such Floor Boards
A floor board including a decorative surface layer applied to a substrate, where the substrate is optionally MDF or HDF material at a side edge thereof, and at least one side edge together with a side edge opposite thereto forming a first pair of opposite side edges of said substrate. The first pair of opposite side edges includes mechanical first and second coupling parts, respectively, allowing the floor board to be coupled at the respective side edges with a similar floor board. Also, a floor board covering consisting of a plurality of the floor boards and a method for manufacturing such floor boards.
Panel, Covering, and Method for Manufacturing Such a Panel
The present invention relates to a panel, such as a floor panel, a wall panel or a ceiling panel, in particular a decorative floor panel. The invention also relates to a covering, in particular a floor covering, including multiple interconnected panels according to the invention. The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing a panel according to the invention.
Panel
A panel having a core, a top side, a underside, a first edge pair and a second edge pair. The first edge pair has a groove profile at a panel edge and a complementary tongue profile at the opposite panel edge, which cooperate in positively locking relationship so that movement of locked panels away from each other in the plane of the panels is opposed. At its opposite panel edges the second edge pair has a receiving hook and a complementary arresting hook. The arresting hook can be assembled to the receiving hook by a joining movement in a direction perpendicular to the panel plane. The receiving hook has a holding groove for a separate locking element for a vertical locking action. At a corner of the panel the tongue edge of the first edge pair comes together with the receiving hook. The holding groove provided on the receiving hook of the second edge pair for the locking element has an upper groove wall with a spacing from the top side that is greater than the spacing between the panel top side and the tongue top side of the tongue profile of the first edge pair.
