FIXTURE FOR LAYING A JOINT-COVERING/THRESHOLD-COVERING PROFILED ELEMENT AND KIT COMPRISING SUCH FIXTURE
A fixture for laying a joint-covering/threshold-covering profiled element and a kit having such fixture includes an insert to be arranged under the profiled element and which is substantially L-shaped in cross-section. The fixture further includes, with a first portion arranged parallel to the flooring surface and a second portion arranged substantially vertically at the side of the flooring surface.
Housing Construction System
A wall surfacing system for providing a secondary ceiling or wall covering structure adjacent a primary structure. The system provides a plurality of elongated structural support rails, each of these support rails have a coupling web with a bearing surface for attachment to the primary structure, a coupling mechanism, and a portion integrally formed with and connecting the coupling web to the coupling mechanism. A plurality of generally planar surface panels are provided. Each panel has an integral interlocking member configured to mate with the coupling mechanism on the support rail. The elongated support rails are secured to primary structures, thereby extending the surface panels to form an aesthetically pleasing covered surface.
Foldable structural plate element
A method for the manufacture of a foldable building plate element by providing a flat plate (1), providing of at least one folding groove (2) in the flat plate, providing a folding profile (6), comprising two side wings (7) and an interposed folding portion (8), and fitting the folding groove into the folding profile in such a way, for example by gluing, that the side wings thereof form a strong connection with the two side faces (5) of the folding groove. The side wings are interconnected with each other through a bridging strip (9), which will be removed when the plate is folded. The wings are further provided with connecting means (10) that snap-connect with each other when the side wings are folded towards each other. If desired, a filler strip (11) can be inserted between the side wings.
Sheet Material Connector
Apparatus and methods for joining sections of sheet material (e.g., drywall) are provided. The sheet material joining apparatus or connector comprises an elongated body having two channels disposed such that the ends of two sections of sheet material may be secured therein. The channels are defined by front and back walls interconnected via an internal rib. The front wall is configured to be disposed on the exposed side of the sheet material and the back wall is configured to be disposed on the back or hidden side of the sheet material, while the back wall takes the form of a convex arced surface. The convex arced surface is configured to be engaged by one or more securing elements (e.g., screw), and during such engagement to exert a resilient force onto the adjoining sections of sheet material to draw them inward toward the back wall of the connector.
Skirting Board and an Improved Method for Manufacturing a Skirting Board or Finishing Profiled Section
The present invention relates, on the one hand, to a skirting board for a wall of a space or finishing profiled section for floor covering, comprising a body composed of at least a carrier material and a decorative top layer, in which said body comprises a longitudinal part which forms at least a part of the front side of the skirting board or the finishing profiled section, and a top part which forms at least a part of the top side of the skirting board or the finishing profiled section, in which the transition (1 1) between the longitudinal part and the top part has a curved configuration, in which, at the location of said transition, some of the carrier material has been replaced by a filler having a different composition than the carrier material, and that the decorative top layer (2) is continuous at the location of the transition (1 1). On the other hand, the present invention relates to a method for manufacturing such a skirting board.
Single extrusion panel system
A device for mounting a cladding member to a facade utilizing a support. The support includes an appendage that engages an anchor connected to the facade. Sliding engagement of the appendage with the anchor permits the support and connected cladding member to move with the thermal contraction and expansion of the cladding member and support.
WALL PANEL TRIM REVEAL SYSTEM AND METHOD
There is disclosed an improved wall panel trim reveal system and method which utilizes a set of vertical, horizontal and corner trim pieces designed to be fitted together. In an embodiment, the system includes horizontal trim pieces having at least one slope, vertical trim pieces having at least one tab forming a slot for receiving one or more horizontal trim pieces therein, wherein the horizontal and vertical trim pieces when installed together with wall panels forming a moisture drainage channel to direct moisture away from the wall.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR WALL PANEL TRIM INSTALLATION
There is disclosed a system and method for wall panel trim installation. In an embodiment, the system comprises a plurality of horizontal and vertical trim profiles having a back plate adapted to receive a top cap within a bracket, the bracket including a mounting base and walls extending up from either side of the base; and at least one flange formed on the walls and extending outwardly, the at least one flange including a shallow channel; wherein, upon receiving the top cap within the bracket, the at least one flange forming the shallow channel and a portion of the top cap secure an edge of a wall panel therebetween. In an embodiment, the shallow channel formed within the at least one flange is adapted to receive an adhesive or sealant. The top cap is partially received within the bracket such that a clearance is formed between a bottom of the mounting base and a bottom of the top cap. Back plate and top cap pairs allow installation of wall panels placed into position without fasteners.
CLEANROOM PANEL SYSTEM
The system includes a plurality of panels made of a thermoplastic material. The panels have a hermetically-sealed connection between them using a plurality of first thermoplastic welded junctions. The system further includes a plurality of elongated snap-in panel anchoring units. Each unit including complementary first and second members to be latched together through an interfering engagement. At least the first member of each snap-in panel anchoring unit is made of a thermoplastic material and these first members are attached to the outboard major surface of the panels using a plurality of second thermoplastic welded junctions.
