A user attachable overhead panel support device for positioning a panel for attachment to an overhead substrate includes a harness that is configured to position on and to couple to a torso of a user. Each of a pair of shoulder straps of the harness is positioned over a respective shoulder of the user. A pair of posts is coupled singly to the pair of shoulder straps. The posts are substantially parallel and substantially vertically positioned when the user is uprightly positioned. Each of a pair of plates is coupled to an upper end of a respective one of the pair of posts. The pair of plates is configured to support the panel overhead, enabling the user to position the panel in abutment to the overhead substrate. Hands of the user remain free for fastening the panel to the substrate.

Drywall Installation Support Apparatus

A tile levelling device (10) includes a base portion (12) having an upper surface (14) and an opposing lower surface (16), the lower surface (16) being substantially planar; two stems (20) each having a proximal end frangibly connected to the base portion (120) and a distal end connected to a body (32), a generally rectangular hole (34) being defined by the stems (20) the base portion upper surface (14) and the body (32), the hole (34) being adapted to receive a wedge (50); and a stiffening formation (70) located at or near the interface between each stem (20) and the body (32).

Device for use in lifting, transporting and installing sheet material

A device for use in lifting, transporting and installing sheet material has a base, wheels on which the base is supported, a mast that extends upwardly from the base, a carriage that is in engagement with the mast, a supporting head that is mounted to the carriage, and a lifting mechanism to provide support to the carriage in the longitudinal direction of the mast. The wheels include rear wheels that are connected to the rear of the base in a manner that permits steering of the device during movement across a surface, and a front wheel set that is connected to the front of the base. The front wheel set includes a wheel to each side of the device, and the wheels of the front wheel set are rotatable about a common axis. The connection of the mast to the base is such that the mast is rotatable relative to the base about a rotational axis. The device further has an actuator that is operable to change the angular position of the mast relative to the base. The supporting head is configured to support sheet material above the surface.

MECHANICAL LOCKING OF FLOOR PANELS

Floor panels are shown, which are provided with a mechanical locking system comprising tongue and grooves provided with protrusions and cavities which are displaceable in relation to each other and configured such that the protrusions can obtain a vertically unlocked position where they match the cavities and a vertically locked position where the protrusions overlap each other.

Drywall scaffold roller lift
10794071 · 2020-10-06 ·

The drywall scaffold roller (DSR) is a lightweight tool weighing approximately two pounds that construction workers who hang drywall (or plywood) can use to roll the heavy material from the ground to the workers on a scaffold instead of lifting it themselves using their back, arms and legs, which causes injuries. Currently, a drywaller on the ground physically lifts a 100+ pound sheet of drywall, plywood or other heavy materials upwards as much as 20 feet to the person on the scaffold, who then has to lift and/or pull the materials up onto the scaffold. Both people must use their arms, knees, shoulders and back to lift the heavy material, and the worker on the scaffold sometimes uses his foot to slide the material up onto the scaffold. The DSR helps eliminate this unsafe lifting procedure by providing a rolling mechanism to roll the sheet of material instead of lifting it. This takes most of the weight of the heavy material off the workers, making it safer and easier, and possibly reducing arm, shoulder, back and foot injuries from manually lifting the heavy sheet of drywall. It is an inexpensive way for drywall and construction companies to more likely than not reduce the number of workplace injuries and worker's compensation claims.

Device for leveling and aligning tiles and method for leveling and aligning tiles
