A tile levelling device (10) includes a base portion (12) having an upper surface (14) and an opposing lower surface (16), the lower surface (16) being substantially planar; two stems (20) each having a proximal end frangibly connected to the base portion (120) and a distal end connected to a body (32), a generally rectangular hole (34) being defined by the stems (20) the base portion upper surface (14) and the body (32), the hole (34) being adapted to receive a wedge (50); and a stiffening formation (70) located at or near the interface between each stem (20) and the body (32).

The present drywall installation tool is configured to facilitate the installation of interior panels such as drywall, plywood or any applicable material on horizontal and vertical framed surfaces and to avoid the necessity of having more than one person to install each drywall panel and without using the floor as a supportive base for the installation tool.

A tile aligning and lippage tuning system that uses a single piece base and strap which is designed to break away from the base when sufficient pressure is applied and is also designed to stretch along a thin wall region before separation of the strap from the base occurs.

A clamp for installing a siding onto a building. The clamp comprises an upper frame having a nail for mounting the clamp onto the building and a lower frame having a top end pivotally connected to a lower end of the upper frame with a hook at an opposing end of the lower frame for holding a bottom of the siding. A spring is included biasing the lower frame with respect to the upper frame to angle the lower frame away from the building. In operation, the clamp is mounted onto the building and the hook is aligned to a position wherein the siding is to be installed, whereby the bottom of the siding may be placed on the hook and mounted onto the building.

A device for leveling and aligning tiles and method for leveling and aligning tiles are disclosed. In one embodiment, the leveling device includes a body and two spaced and parallel strip members extending transversely from the body. Each of the spaced and parallel strip members extend to the front and rear of the body. Two opposing lateral open windows are formed in the body. A breakaway section is defined along the body. A wedge device is provided for penetrating one or more of the two opposing lateral open windows and exerting a force on the tiles for leveling them relative to each other.

A device for use in lifting, transporting and installing sheet material has a base, wheels on which the base is supported, a mast that extends upwardly from the base, a carriage that is in engagement with the mast, a supporting head that is mounted to the carriage, and a lifting mechanism to provide support to the carriage in the longitudinal direction of the mast. The wheels include rear wheels that are connected to the rear of the base in a manner that permits steering of the device during movement across a surface, and a front wheel set that is connected to the front of the base. The front wheel set includes a wheel to each side of the device, and the wheels of the front wheel set are rotatable about a common axis. The connection of the mast to the base is such that the mast is rotatable relative to the base about a rotational axis. The device further has an actuator that is operable to change the angular position of the mast relative to the base. The supporting head is configured to support sheet material above the surface.

A paving and tiling apparatus is provided for the improved paving and tiling of floors and walls. The paving and tiling apparatus comprises, a first aperture arranged to receive paving and tiling materials; a second aperture arranged to supply paving and tiling materials; at least one conveyor element arranged to transport paving and tiling materials from the first aperture to the second aperture; at least one drive means; and at least one guide member arranged to repeatably translocate between a primary receiving position, at least one intermediary position and a secondary releasing position. At the primary receiving position, the guide member may engage with paving and tiling materials. At the secondary releasing position, the guide member may disengage with paving and tiling materials. At least one intermediary position of the guide member is an optimum positioning of paving and tiling materials adjacent to a surface to be paved or tiled. The at least one drive means is arranged to drive at least one selected from the range: the at least one conveyor element, the at least one guide member. The paving and tiling apparatus provided enables faster and more efficient paving and tiling of floors and walls without the drawbacks associated with traditional methods such as the need for skilled workmanship or the likelihood of human exhaustion.

A knob is screwable to a tile spacer-leveler for together defining a tile alignment device. The knob comprises (i) a body, (ii) elastically-deformable connectors on the knob body, (iii) first and second fixing elements comprising respective threaded slots, supported by the connectors and arrangeable in a first arrangement wherein the threaded rod of a tile separator can be inserted into and removed from the threaded slots without screwing in a second arrangement in which the rod insertion and removal takes place only by screwing, (iv) a blocking element separated from the knob body for elastically deforming the connectors to change the arrangement of the first and second fixing elements to (a) insert the rod between the threaded slots of the first and second fixing means without screw-tightening thereof, (b) screw the knob to the threaded rod with the fixing elements in the second arrangement to align the tiles, and (c) remove the threaded rod without screwing.

Floor panels are shown, which are provided with a mechanical locking system comprising tongue and grooves provided with protrusions and cavities which are displaceable in relation to each other and configured such that the protrusions can obtain a vertically unlocked position where they match the cavities and a vertically locked position where the protrusions overlap each other.

A device for leveling and aligning tiles and method for leveling and aligning tiles are disclosed.
