Tile levelling device
A tile levelling device (10) includes a base portion (12) having an upper surface (14) and an opposing lower surface (16), the lower surface (16) being substantially planar; two stems (20) each having a proximal end frangibly connected to the base portion (120) and a distal end connected to a body (32), a generally rectangular hole (34) being defined by the stems (20) the base portion upper surface (14) and the body (32), the hole (34) being adapted to receive a wedge (50); and a stiffening formation (70) located at or near the interface between each stem (20) and the body (32).
Demountable wall system and method
A demountable wall system includes a frame component. The frame component may include a front channel that receives a panel of the demountable wall system. In addition to the front channel, the frame component may include at least one of a front cover, a removable back cover, a leveling system, a supplemental channel, or a joining system. In some examples, the demountable wall system includes a door support system for movably supporting a door relative to the panel of the demountable wall system.
Wall Construction System
A wall construction system includes multiple block types that interfit with one another to form walls in a staggered arrangement. Block types include jamb blocks having front and back surfaces, a planar surface on a first end, and a second side having a projecting surface or a receiving surface configured to mate with the projecting surface. The jamb block includes a top mating surface and a bottom mating surface configured to mate with the top mating surface. Webs extend from the front surface to the back surface to form voids. A multi-directional elevation is formed over a void adjacent the planar surface to permit stacking of blocks in two orientations. Other block types include a half jamb block having a web to form a void and a planar surface, and a web stretcher having a projecting surface on one end and a receiving surface on another end.
TILE LEVELING DEVICE
For leveling tile, a tile leveling device (100) includes a tower (105), a base (120), and leveling ridges (130). The tower (105) includes a cross piece (110) and at least one strut that extends (115) in a distal direction (150) along a first axis (145) from the cross piece (110). Each strut (115) has a first traverse width (170). The base (120) is connected to the at least one strut (115) at a base intersection (140) and extends transversely from the at least one strut (115). The cross piece (110), the at least one strut (115), and the base (120) form a tension gap (125). The leveling ridges (130) are disposed on a proximal surface (121) of the base (120). Each leveling ridge (130) comprises a distal ridge side (131) connected to the base and a proximal ridge surface (132).
APPARATUS FOR TILE LEVELING AND SPACING
A leveling spacer may include a base, a connecting piece having a breakage portion, a threaded shaft and a pressure applicator. In one embodiment, the breakage portion of the connecting piece is disposed at right angles to the base, and the other end thereof is connected with the threaded shaft. The pressure applicator is configured to engage and remove the threaded shaft, and more specifically, the pressure applicator may include a female threaded chamber to correspondingly engage with the threaded shaft. When the pressure applicator is rotated down the shaft, it can also apply pressure to level and immobilize the substrate.
System and method for aligning and leveling tile
A tile aligning and leveling system that uses an under tile base re-usable upright connecting tab, which is detachably connected to said under tile base, a re-usable flexible edge slotted cap configured to slip over the connecting tab and latch thereto as the cap is slid further down the connecting tab. The cap has an edge slot so that the connecting tab can be separated from the cap, by merely sliding the cap, so that the connecting tab passes through the slot. A flexible spring-like portion of the cap provides increased force on the tile even if undesired elongation of the connecting tab occurs.
Wedge Device for Leveling Tiles and Clip Set for Use of Same
A wedge device for leveling tiles and a clip set for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment of the wedge device, the wedge device includes a body having an attachment end, a penetrating edge, a top, and a bottom. The attachment end is coupled to a backstop member and the penetrating edge is configured to penetrate the clip member. The body includes an inclined plane tapering from the attachment end to the penetrating edge. A line-of-sight opening extends along a longitudinal axis of the body to provide visibility through the body from the top to the bottom.
Levelling spacer device for laying slab products for cladding laying surfaces, and a computer program product
Provided is a levelling spacer device for laying slab products for cladding laying surfaces. In some embodiments, the levelling spacer device includes a support having a base and a separator element provided with a through-window with two upper tilted sub-edges and a lower edge; and a presser wedge to be inserted in the through-window and to slide restingly on the in-view surface of the slab products, with an upper face having two adjacent areas running longitudinally along the length of the pressing wedge, and that are tilted downwards towards each other along a common convergent axis, and that cooperate, each, with a respective one of the two upper tilted sub-edges to push the slab products downwards. Also provided is a computer program product for manufacturing the presently disclosed device by 3D printing.
HIDDEN FASTENER UNIT AND RELATED METHOD OF USE
A fastener unit and related method for securing a board to a support is provided. The fastener unit includes a spacer block, a grip element extending from the spacer block and configured to fit in and engage a groove of the board, and one or more resilient compression elements joined with the spacer block. The resilient compression elements can be vertically compressible so at least a portion of it can move from an open mode to a compression mode and fit within, then forcibly expand within, the groove, thereby securing the spacer block in a position adjacent the groove to establish a gap between the board and another board. Related methods of use also are provided.
Clamps for installing siding
A clamp for installing a siding onto a building. The clamp comprises an upper frame having a nail for mounting the clamp onto the building and a lower frame having a top end pivotally connected to a lower end of the upper frame with a hook at an opposing end of the lower frame for holding a bottom of the siding. A spring is included biasing the lower frame with respect to the upper frame to angle the lower frame away from the building. In operation, the clamp is mounted onto the building and the hook is aligned to a position wherein the siding is to be installed, whereby the bottom of the siding may be placed on the hook and mounted onto the building.
