Stable, non-locking picket fence system
A fencing system has at least two engaging elements, two rails extending along respective upper and lower rail axes with a generally hollow rectangular or four-sided cross-section. The rails have a horizontal top wall between first and second vertical rail sidewalls that depend downwardly to define an internal cavity. At least two attachment legs extend inwardly towards each other from the sidewalls. Vertical picket posts extend between through holes in the upper and lower horizontal rails. The picket post includes multiple grooves. The grooves receive the posts without penetration into any internal cavities of the upper and lower rail, and the posts are forced inwardly into the grooves by elastic memory in the sidewalls, the posts within grooves not being in locked engagement with the grooves, but held in place by the force of the elastic memory, the posts withdrawable from the grooves by overcoming the elastic force.
FRICTION PICKET SYSTEM
A unitary railing portion for a railing assembly may include a top portion, a bottom portion, a first side portion, and a second side portion. At least one aperture in the unitary railing portion may be configured for inserting a baluster along an axis of insertion between the first side portion and the second side portion. A channel may be extended from the first side portion and a cantilevered arm may be extended from the second side portion. A retaining element may be disposed at least partially in the channel. The retaining element and the cantilevered arm may be configured to retain the baluster relative to the unitary railing portion. In some examples, the unitary railing portion may be included in a railing assembly. The railing assembly may include at least one unitary railing portion and at least one baluster inserted into the unitary railing portion.
Gate post for fencing system
An improved fencing system can include improved fence posts. Such fence posts can include features for accommodating different types of fasteners for attachment to fence components, such as fence rails. Additionally, some fence posts, such as gateposts, can be formed with one or more pieces of other fenceposts in a fencing system. Some such improved fence posts can include concrete locks.
Anchor fence post assembly
A fence having a plurality of fence posts supported in the ground at spaced apart locations along the fenced boundary and fencing material joined to the fence posts under tension, further includes an anchor fence post assembly at a corner of the fence. The anchor fence post assembly has an anchor post for coupling the fencing material thereon. An anchor pin is penetrated into the ground such that the anchor pin extends along a post axis at an upward and outward slope which is offset from vertical away from a direction of tension of the fencing material. The anchor post that couples the fencing material thereon is slidable along the post axis relative to the anchor pin.
Parking Barrier System and Post
A post assembly 10, 10.0, 10.00, 10.000, 10.0000, 110, 210, 310 for a parking lot barrier system 11, the post 12 of the post assembly 10,10.0, 10.00, 10.000, 10.0000, 110, 210, 310 being of any appropriate section and having at least one aperture 30, 32 at or near to the base 12.1 of the post 12. The at least one aperture 30, 32 is sized and shaped so as to allow the post 12 to deform elastically under collision loads at low speeds sign posted in parking lots
Fence structure
A fence structure has a plane extended from the top of a connecting board to a vertical pipe and an embedded opening formed at corresponding position for embedding the vertical pipe. A protective flange is protruded from each of two corresponding sides of the embedded opening, attached onto a horizontal pipe for passing the vertical pipe to an inner wall of a hole, and installed at a position in the same displacing direction when the angle of the vertical pipe is adjusted. The horizontal pipe is formed by a main body with an opening on the longitudinal side and a cover disposed at the opening position and coupled to the main body. While adjusting the angle of the fence, the vertical and horizontal pipes are prevented from hitting each other or scratching their outer surfaces. In addition, the time and labor of assembling the fence can be reduced.
Removable fence
The invention is directed to a removable fence. The fence is designed to be sturdy and reliable, while remaining quickly and easily removable without the use of tools. The fence provides two or more fenceposts and one or more fence sections. Threaded lockbars and wingnuts are provided for each fence section. The lockbars and wingnuts may be used to temporarily affix the end of the fence section to the fencepost. A plurality of fenceposts and fence sections may be erected and joined in this manner to construct the fence. The process may be reversed to remove the fence sections from the fenceposts to prepare for an approaching storm.
BARRIER WITH CABLE SYSTEM
A protective barrier includes a first end piece including a first opening and a first anchoring member for securing the first end piece to a surface, a second end piece including a second opening and a second anchoring member for securing the second end piece to the surface, a rail extending between the first end piece and the second end piece, the rail having a first end disposed in the first opening of the first end piece and a second end disposed in the second opening of the second end piece, and a cable system including a first fastener coupled to the first anchoring member, a second fastener coupled to the second anchoring member, and a cable having a first end attached to the first fastener and a second attached to the second fastener, the cable extending from the first fastener, through the first opening, through the rail, through the second opening, and to the second fastener
Barrier support assembly, barrier system and method for deploying a barrier support assembly
A method of deploying a barrier support assembly, which barrier support assembly comprises an upright support through which at least one hole extends, and at least one barrier support. The method including the steps of locating the upright support against a fixed structure and having a magnet of the barrier support extending through the hole in the upright support to make contact thereby magnetically attract to the fixed structure.
Spring action clip for balusters
A railing system includes an upper rail and a lower rail spaced from the upper rail. The railing system also includes a plurality of balusters positioned between the upper rail and the lower rail. The railing system further includes a clip configured to attach one baluster of the plurality of balusters to the lower rail or the upper rail. The clip includes a baluster engagement portion configured to be received within an open end of the one baluster. The clip further includes a tab extending from the baluster engagement portion. The tab includes a fin portion configured to be inserted within one aperture of a plurality of apertures of the upper rail or the lower rail. The tab also includes a spring portion coupled to the fin portion. The spring portion is configured to secure the clip to the upper rail or the lower rail.
