A method of assembling a fence unit, where the method includes providing a side panel and a door frame of a fence assembly, where the side panel includes a plurality of vertical wires and a plurality of horizontal wires, and where the door frame including a side hook and side loop, sliding one of the plurality of vertical wires of the side into the side hook of the door frame, rotating the side panel with respect to the door frame such that the side loop of the door frame protrudes through a plane defined by the side panel, and inserting a door frame engagement pin through the side loop, where the door frame engagement pin includes an elongated portion and a fastening portion, and wherein, once inserted, the elongated portion engages at least one of the plurality of horizontal wires of the side panel to prevent the side panel from rotating with respect to the door frame.

MODULAR PERIMETER FENCING SYSTEM
20180058093 · 2018-03-01 ·

A system and method of installing a modular fencing system in which slotted posts are used in conjunction with hollow longitudinal rails to support the fence panels in a manner that creates a unified curtain wall perimeter barrier. The posts, rails, and fence panels are made of metal. Plastic sleeves with angularly-tilted ends are inserted into both sides of a slot opening to prevent water intrusion and to facilitate fencing on a slope. The rails are then slidably inserted into and through the sleeves to be held in place through the slots. Adjacent rails are mechanically fastened to each other. The full length of the fence is bolted to the rails to ensure that any load or impact to the fence is distributed throughout the entire system. For additional strength, each fence panel is also through-bolted to metallic finish plates, which are mounted on the slotted posts for seamless and aesthetically-pleasing look.

The present disclosure concerns a large surface area solar energy generation apparatus and method that protects the solar system from meteorological or any other ambient threat and restores the solar system to operating condition once the threat has passed. The system is sufficiently large to cover parking lots and other large ground surface structures and offers double the conventional solar exposure surface area per supporting post. The apparatus generates more electricity with single axis and dual axis tracking. The apparatus is pre-assembled in a central production facility to avoid costly onsite construction and installed at the utilization site with minimal effort.

A game fence roll having a panel and skirt is provided along with a process for installation of a fence using the roll. A wire-mesh security fence panel and security fence is provided. In at least on example the fence panel includes: a first set of substantially parallel wires, each wire having a first and a second end; a second set of substantially parallel wires, the second set of wires being welded across the first set on one picket-wire side of the first set; a cross-wire-side connection strip welded across the first end of the first set on the picket-wire side of the first set; and an opposite side connection strip welded across the second end of the first set on the opposite side of the picket-wire side. In one such example each connection strip has an outside edge and each outside edge is equally spaced from the end of the wires to which the strip is welded.

SECURITY BARRIER
20170183833 · 2017-06-29 ·

A security barrier for deployment in crowd control and/or containment, the security barrier being capable of adopting at least two configurations. In a first configuration the security barrier is erected for deployment and comprises a compartment bounded at its front by a front panel for providing a barricade, at its rear by a rear panel of lower height than the front panel, at its sides by respective side panels pivotally connecting the rear and front panels, and at its bottom by a bottom panel connected at least two of the front panel, the rear panel, and the respective side panels. In its second configuration the security barrier is collapsed for storage and/or transportation.

FENCING MESH AND FENCE
20170096835 · 2017-04-06 ·

A fencing mesh for protecting an interior space from projectiles, comprising a first set of wires which are arranged essentially parallel with respect to each other and a second set of wires which are arranged essentially parallel with respect to each other, have a greater tensile strength than the wires of the first set and intersect the first set of wires. In addition, the present invention relates to a fence comprising such a fencing mesh.

A fence connector system and/or method can include a post connection element securable to a fence support structure and comprising an outwardly extending receptacle having a bore hole; a fence receiving arm comprising (a) a head retainable in the receptacle and (b) a shaft extending from the head insertable through the receptacle bore hole and comprising a fence engaging slot adapted to receive and engage a fence wire; and a fence securing mechanism configured to secure the fence wire in the fence engaging slot. The fence receiving arm is rotatable in the receptacle and bore hole about an axis, whereby the fence wire is securable to the fence support structure in any circumferential position about the axis.

Safety barrier for a deck or porch

A safety barrier is formed of framing, including a guard rail that defines the infill below the rail without the use of pickets. The infill is covered with mesh screen, which may be made of nylon which has greater tensile strength than conventional fiberglass. The mesh screen is held to the framing by an extruded base. The base has a central channel between two flat spline grooves. Flat splines hold mesh screen in their respective grooves more securely than conventional friction-based channel splines. A metal plate is positioned in the central channel to enables screws that secure the base to be tightened to hold it to the framing better. The elimination of pickets in the infill leaves the view unobstructed and allows other treatments of that portion of a deck or porch that are more aesthetically pleasing without compromising safety.
