Post driving implement
Disclosed embodiments include post driving implements which attach to a power machine such as a loader in order to pick up posts of various sizes and materials and/or to drive the posts into the ground. In some exemplary disclosed embodiments, the post driving implement allows a post to be picked up when positioned inline with a direction of power machine travel and allows the post to rotate under the force of gravity to a second position in which the post is inline with a pounding mechanism for pounding the post into the ground. Catch mechanisms can be included to capture a portion of the implement to maintain the post in the second position until a release action is taken or a release command is given.
Bollard Setting and Installation System
A bollard setting and installation system for efficiently installing a bollard wall without any restrictions relating to proximity to water or flood plains. The bollard setting and installation system generally includes a setting frame which is positioned on a ground surface. A plurality of bollards is positioned on the setting frame in a desired spacing and orientation to form a bollard wall. A vehicle having a vehicle arm connected to a lifting frame is positioned such that the bollards are secured to the lifting frame by clamps in the desired spacing and orientation. The vehicle may then move the lifting frame to position the lower ends of the bollards in an opening in the ground surface. Concrete may be poured to encapsulate the lower ends of the bollards. The lifting frame may then be removed, with the bollard wall being free-standing in the ground surface.
FENCE POST LAYOUT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A fence post layout system and method includes a measurement device to collect data corresponding to a length of a fence run and presenting a visual representation of the length of the fence run to an operator through a user interface. The measurement device also collects data corresponding to installation site characteristics, such as topography. The system analyzes the installation site data to determine fence post spacing and fence post installation locations along the fence run and outputs a visual representation to the operation of the fence post installation locations via the user interface.
METHOD OF ANCHORING POSTS
A method of ground anchoring a plurality of posts (11), especially to erect a fence or barrier. The method includes anchoring a first plurality of posts (11) into the ground, preferably simultaneously, using a plurality of post anchoring stations (50) located on at least one movable platform (10) that can be moved along a path, and then anchoring a second plurality of posts (11), again preferably simultaneously, into the ground using the plurality of post anchoring stations (50). In preferred forms there are a plurality of movable platforms which may be mechanically and/or wireless linked.
POST FOR A SOUND WALL AND SOUND WALL EMPLOYING THE SAME
A lateral support device for stabilizing an elongate foundation post installed in a substrate. The lateral support device may include at least one engagement member for engaging the elongate foundation post. The lateral support device may also include a support plate extending from the at least one engagement member. The support plate may have a plate width greater than a post width of the elongate foundation post. The support plate may be slidable relative to the foundation post in an elongate direction when the at least one engagement member engages at least a portion of the elongate foundation post. When the engagement member is in an engaged position, at least a portion of the support plate is below the grade of the substrate.
Stake insertion and removal tool
A stake insertion and removal tool including a vertically extending pole portion having an upper end for grasping and a lower end comprising a fixed clamping surface, a clamping portion connected to the pole portion approximate the lower end by linkage, movable relative to the pole portion through the linkage, and having a step and a movable clamping surface. A downward force on the step forces the movable clamping portion toward the fixed clamping portion through the linkage, thereby forcing the movable clamping surface toward the fixed clamping surface, to grasp a stake placed therebetween as the downward force urges the stake into ground there-below.
Collars For Use In Either Driving Posts Into Or Removing Posts From The Ground, And Related Methods
A collar is provided that can be used to either drive posts into the ground or remove posts from the ground. The collar includes a first portion defining a post opening adapted for coupling about a post, and a second portion coupled to the first portion. The second portion includes a receiver adapted for receiving a tool for use in driving the post into the ground when the first portion is coupled about the post. The first portion defines an obtuse angle with respect to the second portion. The collar is configured to be positioned in a first orientation about a post when used to drive the post into the ground, and a second orientation, rotated approximately 180 degrees relative to the first orientation, when used to remove a post from the ground.
FENCING SUPPORT SYSTEM
A fence support system includes brackets that may be attached to t-posts. The system includes modular brackets that may be configured in either a single or dual embodiment for attachment to components on multiple sides of the brackets. The bracket may also be configured with a round plate situated atop the body portion, such that the top of the bracket may be attached to components at a variety of angles. The bracket may be configured in large and small embodiments. The system includes an adjustable brace assembly configured to extend between brackets so as to support respective posts. The bracketry provides a means to hang gates from t-posts, create and support field fence corners and mid fence span supports using common t-posts, including fence intersections that are at non-90-degree angles, and other applications.
Systems, devices, and/or methods for driving posts
Certain exemplary embodiments can provide a system comprising a frame, which comprises an outer mast and an inner mast. The outer mast slides along the inner mast. A motor is coupled to the frame. A hydraulic system is coupled to the motor. A jackhammer head is coupled to the outer mast, which outer mast allows the jackhammer head to float up and down on the inner mast as the jackhammer head reciprocates. Thereby vibrations from jackhammer motion substantially do not get transferred to the frame.
Collars for use in either driving posts into or removing posts from the ground, and related methods
A method is provided for using a collar to either drive a post into the ground or remove a post from the ground. The method includes, when driving a post into the ground, coupling the collar to the post in a first orientation so that a post opening of a first portion of the collar extends about the post, and applying a driving force to a second portion of the collar. The method also includes, when removing a post from the ground, coupling the collar to the post in a second orientation, rotated approximately 180 degrees from the first orientation, so that the post opening of the first portion of the collar extends about the post, and applying an extracting force to the second portion of the collar.
