LOCK WITH A LONG-TRAVEL DEADBOLT
20200157847 · 2020-05-21 ·

A lock with a long-travel deadbolt includes a first guide member and a loop-shaped rail. A driving member is slidably mounted to the first guide member and includes a second guide member and a third guide member. A third notch is defined in an underside of the driving member. An extension plate is eccentrically and pivotably connected to the second guide member. An extension slot is defined in the extension plate and the first guide member slidably extends through the extension slot. A stop plate is pivotably connected to the third guide member and has an extension portion which has a corner protruding from a side thereof. The third notch and the corner are located at the rail. When rotating the core, the first guide member moves from one end of the extension slot to the other end of the extension slot, the deadbolt travels at least 22 mm.

LOCK WITH A ROLLER DEADBOLT
20200157843 · 2020-05-21 ·

A lock with a roller deadbolt includes a driving member having a first slot and a transverse slot. The driving member is connected to a first spring, a second spring and a positioning rod. A deadbolt includes a body, an insertion member, a roller and a slide. The driving member is connected to the body. The insertion member is received in the body. The second spring biases the insertion member. The slide is restricted by the positioning rods of the driving member and has a first guide pin extending through the first slot. The slide is movable along the first slot. The guide hole includes an extension slot and an inclined slot which inclinedly communicates with the extension slot. When in a non-transmission position, the roller protrudes beyond the receiving space. When in the transmission position, the roller does not protrude beyond the receiving space.

LOCK WITH EMERGENCY UNLOCKING FEATURE
20200157850 · 2020-05-21 ·

A lock with an emergency unlocking feature includes a latch bolt, a top rotation member, a restriction plate and a driving member. The driving member is connected to the deadbolt. When the top rotation member is rotated from a close position to an open position while the lock is locked, a restriction member drives the restriction plate to press a resilient unit. The restriction plate is moved to disengage the engaging member on the restriction plate from the second notch of the driving member. The guide slot of the transmission plate pulls the second guide member to move the deadbolt to the unlocked position, and the latch bolt moves to the open position. When in an emergency situation, the user rotates the handle to retract both of the deadbolt and the latch bolt without using a key to unlock the deadbolt to save time.

LOCK WITH REPLACEABLE MODULES
20200157848 · 2020-05-21 ·

A lock with replaceable modules includes a first part and a second part which is connected to the first part. The lock has a latch bolt recess, a restriction recess and a deadbolt recess so as to selectively install a latch bolt, a restriction bolt and a deadbolt. A lock block is selectively installed in the restriction recess. The lock includes an installation slot which can be selectively oriented in different directions, and a core recess for receiving the deadbolt. The lock is selectively installed with different components by features of modularization and normalization so as to reduce inventory pressure. The customers may install the lock to entrance doors, gate doors, storage room doors, emergency doors, room doors, bathroom doors or the like.

Electric door strike keeper

An actuator-controlled electric strike for operating in conjunction with a spring latch of a lockset is provided. The strike comprises a housing having an entry chamber therein, and a spring latch keeper disposed in the entry chamber for movement between a keeper locked position and a keeper unlocked position. The spring latch keeper includes a keeper face, a second surface recessed from the keeper face and a contact ridge between the keeper face and second surface. The keeper face is contactable by the spring latch when the spring latch keeper is in the keeper locked position. The contact ridge, disposed at a non-perpendicular angle with the rotational axis of the keeper is contactable by the spring latch as the keeper moves toward its unlocked position so that a contact point on said spring latch changes as said spring latch exits said entry chamber.

Latch Guiding And Coupling Device

A latch guiding and coupling device includes a coupling seat having first and second sides. An insertion groove is defined between the first and second sides and extends from a first surface through a second surface of the coupling seat. A recessed portion is formed in the first side and rotatably receives a roller. Each of two ends of the recessed portion has a positioning groove extending to the first surface to form a notch. An axle extends through the roller and includes two ends respectively received in the positioning grooves. A locking plate is mounted to the first surface of the coupling seat. The locking plate includes an opening aligned with the insertion groove and two stopper portions aligned with the positioning grooves. Each stopper portion covers one of the notches to prevent the axle from disengaging from the positioning grooves. The roller protrudes beyond the locking plate.

APPLIANCE LOCK WITH REPELLING MAGNETIC SENSING SWITCH ACTUATION IN A HYDROPHOBIC ENCLOSURE

Provided is a locking mechanism for a consumer appliance comprising a lid or door position sensing feature incorporating two magnets in a repelling relationship. One magnet is incorporated into a lid pawl and the other magnet is incorporated into a switch actuating component inside of the locking mechanism such that their like poles are facing each other to repel each other when the pawl is moved into the actuation zone of the locking mechanism. By nature, magnets tend to seek attraction alignment, therefore a repelling alignment is contrary to the natural tendency of magnets. Structural rigidity is required in the locking mechanism to hold the magnets in the repelling state. Consequently, it is not easy or intuitive for a user to defeat this sensing method with another magnet.

LATCH DEVICE
20200080355 · 2020-03-12 ·

A latch device is disposed between a first member and a second member that are pivotally combined. The latch device includes a main body, a hook member, and a moving member. The main body has one side fixed to the first member and a containing groove opening toward an outer side. The hook member is fixed to the second member. The moving member is in the containing groove and slides between a first and a second position. When the moving member is at the first position, the moving member is engaged with the hook member, such that the first member and the second member close. When the moving member is at the second position, the moving member retracts with respect to the main body, such that the moving member is parted from the hook member, whereby the first member and the second member open.

Electronic lock for safes

An electronic lock with an electronic sensing arrangement to accurately sense relative positions of a bolt which mechanically locks a door, such as a door of an electronic drop safe, and to also sense an electronically controlled plunger which locks the bolt in place. The arrangement provides a mechanism for sensing a variety of mechanical malfunctions, as well as, potential fraud or tampering situations.

LOCK WITH A LOCKABLE PUSH-THROUGH LATCH
20200056403 · 2020-02-20 ·

A lock having a latch assembly with a bolt head freely movable between an extended position and a retracted position. The latch assembly also includes lock pin that is movable between a locked position and an unlocked position, which may be moveable by a motor and/or biasing mechanism. The lock also has a strike assembly including a strike housing for receiving the bolt head. The strike housing includes a keeper biased to a latched position relative to the bolt head. When the lock pin is in the locked position, the lock pin engages the keeper to hold the keeper in the latched position, and thus the bolt head in the extended position in the strike housing. The lock also includes an access control system for controlling the motor of the lock.
