ELECTRONIC LOCK WITH FACIAL AUTHENTICATION FEATURES
An electronic lock includes an interior subassembly including a manual turnpiece, a control circuit, and a motor actuatable by the control circuit, and an exterior subassembly including a facial authentication circuit operatively connected to the control circuit. The electronic lock includes a latch operatively connected to the interior subassembly, the latch being engageable by the manual turnpiece or the motor to move the electronic lock between a locked state and an unlocked state. The facial authentication circuit includes at least one camera and is configured to generate an authentication signal to the control circuit, and wherein, at least in part in response to the authentication signal, the control circuit is configured to actuate the motor to move the electronic lock between the locked state and the unlocked state.
ELECTRONIC DOOR SYSTEM, DOOR LOCK, AND LOCK ACTUATOR
An electronic door lock includes a motor having a stator and a rotor that rotates relative to the stator. The rotor is configured to rotate a spindle operatively coupled to a deadbolt lock at a 1:1 drive ratio therewith. The spindle is engaged with the deadbolt lock to cause extension and retraction with rotation of the spindle
Electronic Lock
A lock includes a cable configured as an antenna, a shackle pin connected to one end of the cable, and a lock body connected to another end of the cable. The lock body includes a channel for the shackle pin, at least one lock member adjacent the channel pivotable from an open position disengaged from the shackle pin to a closed position engaging the shackle pin, a retainer associated with a lock member driven from a released position disengaged from the lock member to an engaged position retaining the lock member in the closed position, and an electrically driven linear actuator driving the retainer to the released position in response to a signal received by a receiver via the antenna.
Smart Lock
A smart lock for securing a door comprising: a housing mountable to the door; an actuator within the housing configured to actuate a lock mechanism between a locked position and an unlocked position, the lock mechanism including a latch bolt with an angled front face, the latch bolt configured to be retractable against a biasing force provided by a biasing means such that the door is closeable when the lock mechanism is in the locked position; and a receiver within the housing configured to wirelessly receive a signal to control operation of the actuator; a sensor mountable exclusively to the door so as to generate a signal indicative of the door beginning to move; a controller arranged to receive the signal indicative of the door beginning to move, the controller configured to control the actuator to actuate the lock mechanism in response to the signal indicative of the door beginning to move.
Door lock system with contact sensor
An intelligent door lock system is coupled to a door at a dwelling. A first sensor is at the dwelling. The first sensor is coupled to a drive shaft of a lock device to assist in locking and unlocking a lock of a lock device at a door. The lock device is coupled to the first sensor and the lock device includes a bolt. An engine, an energy source and a memory are coupled together. A magnetic sensor provides a reading or measurement used to determine a door open or closed status.
Security tag including thermally actuated detachment mechanism
A security tag includes a tag body member, a connecting member releasably engageable with the tag body member, and a locking member having a locked position in a first thermal state configured to lock the connecting member to the tag body member, and having an unlocked position in a second thermal state configured to unlock the connecting member from the tag body member. The locking member includes a locking body comprising a shape memory alloy, and a clamping member connected to the shape memory alloy. A transition of the shape memory alloy element from the first thermal state to the second thermal state moves the clamping member from the locked position to the unlocked position, thereby enabling the connecting member to be detached from the tag body member.
STORAGE DEVICE FOR KEY
A storage device (10) for storing a key, the storage device (10) comprising a housing (12, 38); a blocking structure (40); a carrier (18) for carrying 76 a key, the carrier (18) being movable relative to the housing (12, 38) between a closed position (20), in which the carrier (18) is accommodated within the housing (12, 38), and an open position (26), in which the carrier (18) at least partly protrudes from the housing (12, 38) for retrieval of a key from the carrier (18), the carrier (18) comprising a blocking member (44) and a biasing device (42) arranged to bias the blocking member (44) into engagement with the blocking structure (40) in the closed position (20); and an actuator (52) comprising a locking structure (54), the actuator (52) being arranged to move the locking structure (54) between a 40 locking position (56) to lock the blocking member (44) when engaging the blocking structure (40), and an unlocking position (84) in which the blocking member (44) is not locked by the locking structure (54).
Uninterruptible Timed Electromagnetic Locking Mechanism
The Uninterruptible Timed Electromagnetic Locking mechanism consists of a rechargeable DC battery pack wired in parallel downstream of the power supply, a logic circuit including a programmable timer relay which when activated by a switch, engages the lock for a user-set amount of time regardless of future switch states, and an electromagnetic lock controlled by the logic circuit and programmable timer relay.
DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY
A door lock system includes a toolless handing assembly that selectively sets a handle in a left or right home position. The handing assembly may cooperate with a disc and a spring that biases the disc to a default position. The disc may be rotated in a first direction to set the disc in a first home position. A catch may engage the disc to retain the disc in the first home position. The catch may be released to return the disc to the default position and the disc may be rotated in a second direction to set the disc in a second home position, opposite the first home position.
DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY WITH WAGGLE REDUCTION
A door lock system may include an outer spindle operatively connected to a disc with a larger diameter than a diameter of the outer spindle. The disc may include an opening that slidingly receives a lock spindle along a lock axis configured to engage a lock body. The lock spindle and the spindle opening may have complementary shapes and sizes such that the lock spindle is rotationally coupled to the disc about the center axis. Torque may be transmitted from a handle to the disc and from the disc to the lock spindle via the opening.
