MOTOR VEHICLE LOCK
A motor vehicle lock has a paw and a catch that may be moved into an open position, a preliminary latching position and a main latching position. In one latching position, that catch is or may be brought into holding engagement with a lock striker. During a cinching routine, the catch is moved into its main latching position by a cinching drive. An overload clutch with two clutch elements is provided in the drive train between the cinching drive and the catch. The clutch elements are in engagement with each other for the transmission of cinching forces. The engagement is load dependent in a beginning section of the cinching routine, such that the engagement and thereby the overload clutch, is disconnected in reaction to exceeding a predefined limit load in the drive train. The engagement is load independent in the remaining, subsequent section of the cinching routine.
Motor-vehicle door lock
A motor-vehicle door lock, which is equipped with a locking mechanism, comprising a rotary latch and at least one pawl, and with a closing drive and an opening drive for the locking mechanism. The rotary latch can be transferred into an overtravel position by means of the closing drive. According to the invention, in order to open the locking mechanism, the rotary latch is held in the overtravel position by means of the closing drive. In this way, the opening drive can open the pawl and subsequently the closing drive can travel back when the locking mechanism is open.
Method for operating a motor vehicle locking system
A method for operating a motor vehicle locking system, particularly for acting upon a motor vehicle cover and preferably a motor vehicle door for the purpose of locking it. A drive for the cover is acted upon depending on a pre-locked position and a fully latched position of the cover determined by a sensor. According to the invention, a sensor detects the over-travel beyond the fully latched position, resulting in the motor being driven in a reverse direction irrespective of the previously assumed fully latched position.
Lock comprising a closing device for a motor vehicle
A lock for a motor vehicle includes a locking mechanism consisting of a rotary latch and at least one pawl, a closing device having an electric drive, wherein the locking mechanism can be transferred from a pre-locking position into a main locking position by the closing device, and a control unit for the closing drive, wherein a closing operation can be prevented in accordance with a measurement variable of the closing drive, and wherein the closing operation can be prevented in accordance with a determinable deviation from a setpoint value curve.
Touch sensor unit
The disclosure provides a touch sensor unit. A conductive component is arranged between a pair of electrodes which are arranged inside an insulating tube, and the conductive component includes: a body section, which extends in a longitudinal direction of the insulating tube; and a convex section, which is arranged on an outer circumference of the body section, extends along the longitudinal direction of the body section, and sinks into the pair of electrodes. Short circuit or non-short circuit and so on of the electrodes can be detected by detecting the resistance value of the conductive component. Merely by inserting the conductive component into one end in the longitudinal direction of the electrodes, the pair of electrodes are electrically connected, and only the convex section sinks into the pair of electrodes, therefore the insertion load of the conductive component can be reduced, and the terminal treatment can be simplified.
LATCH ASSEMBLY WITH POWER RELEASE AND DUAL STAGE CINCH FUNCTION
A closure latch assembly for a decklid configured to provide a power release operation and a power cinch operation. The closure latch assembly includes a latch mechanism, a latch cinch mechanism, a drive mechanism, and a power actuator. The power actuator interacts with the drive mechanism to provide a power release of the latch mechanism and a power cinch of the latch cinch mechanism.
Door lock, in particular motor vehicle door lock
A door lock, in particular a motor vehicle door lock, is designed with a locking mechanism consisting substantially of a catch and a pawl. Furthermore, a closing device which acts on the locking mechanism is provided, wherein the closing device has at least one motor-driven actuation lever, a driving pawl which interacts with a locking mechanism component, and at least one unlocking element for mechanically interrupting the force flow between the actuation lever and the drawing pawl. According to the invention, the unlocking element largely without exerting a force, for an emergency unlocking function, said coupling element being converted in the process from its formerly engaged state to the disengaged functional position.
MOTOR VEHICLE LOCK
A motor vehicle lock for a flap of a motor vehicle. The motor vehicle lock is equipped with a lock catch for engaging with a closing part in a holding manner and a pawl which is paired with the lock catch and which locks an opening of the lock catch in the lowered position and releases the lock catch in a raised position, wherein the motor vehicle lock has an electric closing drive and a control assembly, wherein the control assembly actuates the closing drive in a closing routine so as to move the lock catch in the closing direction from a starting position. The control assembly actuates the closing drive in the closing routine so as to move the lock catch from the starting position into a delay position in order to carry out a delay action and then move the lock catch into the main closing position.
Method and Apparatus for Preventing a Vehicle Closure Member from Closing in Response to Detected Obstruction
An apparatus, according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a first vehicle structure mounted for movement relative to a second vehicle structure between open and closed positions, and a sensing strip placed to surround a substantial portion of at least one of the first and second vehicle structures to detect an obstruction. At least one actuator prevents the first vehicle structure from moving to the closed position in response to a detected obstruction.
Vehicle door locking device
A vehicle door locking device includes a switching portion capable of switching between a first state in which the switching portion makes contact with a door to inhibit the door from moving in an opening direction no less than a distance required for removing an object caught in the door, and a second state in which the movement of the door of no less than the distance is not inhibited. The switching portion has a cam that rotates according to an opening/closing operation of the door. The rotation of the cam by a predetermined angle or more is inhibited in the first state, and the rotation of the cam is allowed in the second state.
