ESCUTCHEON AND VEHICLE DOOR
An escutcheon and a vehicle door which attain excellent door interior design are provided. An escutcheon includes: a first vertical wall part covering the circumference of a handle base vertical wall part having a shape of a frame; a second vertical wall part having a shape of a frame continuous in a circumferential direction along a handle opening, the second vertical wall part having its height set corresponding to a clearance between a projecting end of the handle base vertical wall part and a back surface of the door trim; and a continuous part connecting between the first vertical wall part and the second vertical wall part.
LEVER ACTUATED LATCH ASSEMBLY
A latch assembly comprises an outside housing, a door latch, an external lever handle, a plunger, a resilient member, and a handle cam. The handle cam comprises a cam surface juxtaposed against and in sliding relation with a plunger cam surface. The plunger is maintained in the latched position when the external lever handle is in the retracted position by the resilient member, whereby an entry door cannot be unintentionally shifted from the closed position, and the plunger is displaced from the latched position to the unlatched position when the external lever handle is displaced from the retracted position to the extended position by the cam surface of the handle cam bearing against the plunger cam surface, whereby the entry door is free to be shifted from the closed position to the open position.
SQUEEZE TRIGGER LATCH
A latch assembly comprises an exterior housing, a door latch, a plunger, a resilient member, and an external lever pivotally mounted on an outer face of the exterior housing. The external lever comprises a first leg, a second leg disposed at an angle relative to the first leg, and a pivot mount disposed between the first leg and the second leg. The plunger is maintained in the latched position when the external lever is in a latched position by the resilient member, whereby an entry door cannot be unintentionally shifted from the closed position. The plunger is displaced from the latched position to the unlatched position when the external lever is rotated from the latched position to the unlatched position by the second leg bearing against the plunger, whereby the entry door is free to be shifted from the closed position to the open position.
VEHICLE HANDLE DEVICE
A vehicle handle device configured to operate a door lock device via a cable device, the vehicle handle device includes an operation member connected to the cable device and a handle case housing the operation member. The handle case includes a cable fixing base in which the cable device is arranged, a cap portion configured to fix the cable device to the cable fixing base, and a hinge portion configured to engage an engaging piece provided on one of the cable fixing base and the cap portion with an engaged piece provided in another of the cable fixing base and the cap portion, and rotatably connect the cap portion to the cable fixing base.
INSIDE HANDLE
An inside handle may include: a handle body disposed in an opening and operated by a user; and a handle base that supports the handle body such that the handle body is capable of swinging around a rotation shaft parallel to the opening between an ordinary position and an operation position. The handle body may include: a design surface disposed along the opening when the handle body is at the ordinary position; an operation surface that extends from a distal end of the design surface relative to the rotation shaft to the interior of the opening, the operation surface forming a concave portion in which a finger of the user that operates the handle body is disposed; a pair of protection walls that is positioned on both sides of the concave portion formed by the operation surface and that extends from the design surface to the interior of the opening.
LEVER ACTUATED LATCH ASSEMBLY
A latch assembly comprises an outside housing, a door latch, an external lever handle, a plunger, a resilient member, and a handle cam. A handle bezel assembly for a vehicle includes a handle bezel and a cover. The handle bezel has a first fastener opening formed therein. The first fastener opening is configured to receive a first fastener to secure the handle bezel to a closure panel assembly. The cover is movably connected to the handle bezel. The cover is movable between a first position preventing access to the fastener opening and a second position allowing access to the fastener opening.

An inside handle device of a vehicle includes a handle unit and a cable unit. In the handle unit, an operation member including an operation handle is rotatably connected to a handle base. The cable unit movably holds one end of a cable device configured to connect the operation member to a latch device fixed to a door on a cable cover. The cable cover has a first locking portion formed at a cable introduction edge and a second locking portion formed at an opposite-end edge. The first locking portion is rotatably locked to the handle base with the opposite-end edge as a rotating end. The second locking portion is elastically locked in a state of being rotated around the first locking portion.

An inside handle device for vehicle includes a handle unit and a cable unit. In the handle unit, an operation handle including a connecting recess is rotatably connected to a handle base. The cable unit is connected to the handle unit while holding one end of an operating force transmission cable in which an inner cable is movably inserted into an outer cable. The connecting recess is locked to a connecting body formed at a tip end of the inner cable in a state where the handle unit is connected to the cable unit.
