The tub knuckle has a base, a first pin holder extending from the base and a second pin holder extending from the base and spaced from the first pin holder. The lid leaf has a mounting plate and a pin holder. The hinge pin assembly is movable between a closed position and an open position, and includes a hinge pin and a retainer assembly that can be used to lock the hinge pin assembly in the closed and open positions.
VEHICULAR DOOR HINGE WITH FOLDED SHEET METAL COMPONENT
In an aspect, a vehicular door hinge is provided and includes a door-hinge component that is configured to mount to a vehicle door and a body-hinge component that is configured to mount to a vehicle body. The door hinge component is pivotally mounted to the body hinge component. A first one of the door- and body-hinge components is made from folded sheet metal and has a fold. Each of the door- and body-hinge components has a stop surface that is engageable with the stop surface on the other of the door- and body-hinge components to limit relative pivoting movement between the door- and body-hinge components. The stop surface on the first of the door- and body-hinge components is at the fold.
TEMPORARY HOLDING DEVICE AND VEHICLE HINGE
A temporary retaining device for use in a vehicle hinge to temporarily lock a vehicle door in an open position relative to a door frame includes a flat portion in which an opening is arranged. A fold protrudes from an edge of the flat portion. A load arm extends from the flat portion. The load arm comprises a projection formed as a retaining lug on an end facing away from the flat portion.
Hinge assembly for a switch cabinet
The invention relates to a hinge assembly for a switch cabinet, comprising a housing-side hinge half and a door-side hinge half, which are connected to one another such that they swivel in relation to one another, wherein the housing-side hinge half has a mounting flange for securing to a vertical profile of a switch cabinet housing, as well as two hinge bolts extending in a vertical direction, arranged at a distance to one another in the vertical direction and facing one another with the free ends thereof, wherein the hinge bolts are accommodated in a respective bolt seat of the housing-side hinge half, wherein the hinge bolts are accommodated in their respective bolt seat such that they cannot move at least in the vertical direction, and in that they protrude from the respective bolt seat via their free ends, wherein the door-side hinge half has a bolt-receiving means with a vertical measurement that is less than or equal to the distance of the free ends of the hinge bolts.
Hinge device provided with power generating device and capable of extracting energy from user's living activities to generate electric power
A hinge device includes: a first and a second hinge components having a common reference axis; and a power generating device. The first and the second hinge components are engaged with each other, so as to be rotatable about the reference axis relative to each other, and so that one of the first and the second hinge components supports the other. The power generating device includes a housing and an input shaft, and generates electric power by rotation of the input shaft. The housing of the power generating device is fixed to the first hinge component, so that the input shaft of the power generating device is positioned on the reference axis. The input shaft of the power generating device is restrained to the second hinge component with respect to the direction of rotation about the reference axis, so that the input shaft of the power generating device rotates by as much as rotation of the second hinge component when the second hinge component rotates about the reference axis.
Flip hinge
A flip hinge for a motor vehicle includes an inner strap affixed to a body of the motor vehicle, an outer strap separate from the inner strap and affixed to a removable panel of the motor vehicle, and an intermediate link extending from the inner strap to the outer strap. The intermediate link is rotatably attached to the inner strap at a first link end by a spring-loaded pivot. The intermediate link is rotatably attached to the outer strap at a second link end by an outer strap pivot. The intermediate link is movable between at least a first position and a second position. The spring-loaded pivot biases the intermediate link towards the second position whenever the intermediate link is not in the first position, and the outer strap is separable from the intermediate link only when the intermediate link is in the first position.
Friction hinge
Friction hinge (21) for the pivotable connection of two components, comprising at least one first hinge sleeve (24) which is arranged in alignment with at least one further hinge sleeve (22), a shaft (11) which runs through the hinge sleeves (22, 24), and at least one friction spring for exerting a friction torque on the movable shaft (11), wherein at least two mutually aligned friction springs (10, 10′) are connected to the first hinge sleeve (24) via radial shoulders (16, 16′) and exert a friction torque on the shaft (11) mounted in the further hinge sleeve (22).
HINGE FOR DOORS
Hinge for the mutual engagement of panels composed of two opposed wing-like elements (1, 2), each of them including a basic body provided with through-holes for housing fixing screws to a panel and with engagement means with the wing-like complementary element provided at a lateral end of said basic body, at the end of the mutual engagement area locking means (3) for engagement of one wing with respect to the other are provided, characterized in that the former of said wing-like means (1) includes a basic body (14), having a rectangular trapezium profile, the end opposite to the vertical side of which being rounded in order to house a round-profiled cavity (15) therein; the latter of said wing-like means (2) in turn includes a basic body (23) having a partially polygonal and partially rounded profile at the engagement end with the complementary wing-like means (1), said rounded portion making up a cylindrical body that about halfway through along its height tapers to form a pin (23); the locking element (3) provides engagement and manoeuvring means on the outer surface and sealing engagement means of said wing-like means.
Hinge for a removable vehicle door
In at least some implementations, a hinge for a vehicle door includes a door hinge adapted to be mounted to a vehicle door and a body hinge adapted to be mounted to a vehicle body. Either the door hinge or the body hinge includes a hinge pin, a void is defined by the other one of the door hinge or the body hinge that does not include the hinge pin, and a retainer is movable relative to the void. The hinge pin is received in the void in an assembled state of the hinge, and the retainer overlaps a retaining surface in an advanced position of the retainer to inhibit removal of the hinge pin from the void. In this way, the vehicle door may be releasably retained on the vehicle body.
Hinge and System for Detachably Connecting a Door to a Frame
The invention relates to a hinge for releasably connecting a door to a frame, including: a frame part for fastening to the frame, a door part for fastening to the door, a hinge pin having a pin axis and a locking element. The frame part and the door part are movable relative to one another along the pin axis between a pivoted position and an installed position; in the pivoted position the frame part and the door part are connected to one another in such a way that the frame part and the door part are pivotable relative to one another about the pin axis between an open position and a closed position. The locking element is adjustable between a locking position and a release position, and the movement of the frame part and of the door part relative to one another along the pin axis from the pivoted position into the installed position is positively inhibited by the locking element the locking position and is freed by the locking element in the release position, the locking element being retained on the frame part or on the door part so as to be adjustable between the locking position and the release position.
