Process for mounting an elastic hinge on eyeglass frames
A process for mounting an elastic hinge on eyeglass frames, for coupling a first pivot element, which comprises an elastic carriage provided with a head portion having a first hole, with a second pivot element comprising two shoulders provided with second holes. The head portion of the first pivot element comprises a tilted slide surface adjacent to the first hole. The process envisages to insert the head portion in a slit between the shoulders of the second pivot element to place in succession their holes offset from each other, and then engaging a hinge pin in the holes, so that the free end of the hinge pin acts in abutment against the slide surface of the head portion, in order to force the carriage to slide until the first hole of the first pivot element is aligned with the second holes of the second pivot element.
GATE
A gate may generally include a gatepost and a plurality of rails pivotally connected to the gatepost and having a plurality of posts hingedly attached to at least one of the plurality of rails. The gate may include a lift system having a translating device in communication with a sprocket, wherein the lift system provides an adjustable force to rotate the plurality of rails from a horizontal position to an upward position. The adjustable force may be provided by a tumbuckle. The gate may include a ground anchor system that allows axial rotation of the plurality of rails about a longitudinal axis of the gatepost.
Trailer door ramp lift assist device
A trailer door that opens by hinging downward to double as a ramp for loading/unloading cargo and an improved assistive means by which such doors are opened and closed is provided. An assembly comprising a ramp pull point that is set apart from the plane of the ramp/door, and/or is moved outward from its edge, changes the physics of the tension required for the assistive lift force for any given ramp/door which in turn allows the spring or cabling counter-weight mechanism to be deployed substantially removing it from blocking the sides of the ramp/door.
Furniture drive for moving a movably mounted furniture part
A furniture drive for moving a movably mounted furniture part relative to a furniture body includes a drive unit to be mounted on or in the furniture body, and at least one movably mounted actuating part for moving the movable furniture part. A mounting stop that can be applied to the furniture body is provided on the drive unit.
Flap holder for a furniture flap
The invention relates to a door holder for a cabinetry door that is displaceable between a closed and an open position, having a lever onto which the cabinetry door is fastenable, the lever being pivotable around a pivot shaft, and having a tensioning lever that is displaceably attached to the lever via a coupling piece, and the tensioning lever being mounted in stationary fashion. In such a door holder, reliable movement of the cabinetry door can be brought about in simple fashion if provision is made that an energy reservoir is indirectly or directly attached to the tensioning lever at the end facing away from the coupling piece.
Cabinet
The application includes a cabinet, having a cabinet body that has a back wall, a top wall and at least one shelf, the open side of which cabinet is closable by at least one covering swivelably connected to the cabinet body; having tilt fittings for the covering that are attached in the upper vicinity of the cabinet body and are covered by inner walls; and having front facings, located between the side walls and the inner walls of the cabinet body and lowerable in the closing position of the covering toward the back side of the cabinet body. In the open position of the covering, the front facings entirely cover the space between the side walls, the inner walls, the tilt fittings, and the shelf, and are flush with the face end of the cabinet body, and the inner walls entirely cover the tilt fittings and front facings. The front facings are each connected to a travel-limiting, adjustable guide device.
Door closer adjustment mechanism
Certain embodiments relate to an adjustment indicator mechanism for a door closer including a tubular portion and an adjustment screw mounted to the tubular portion. A housing is configured for mounting to the door closer, and includes a channel and indicia adjacent the channel, each of the indicia corresponding to a respective size of the door closer. An adjustment transmission includes a first component configured for coupling with the adjustment screw. An indicator transmission is engaged with the adjustment transmission and mounted in the housing. An indicator is movably mounted to the housing such that a portion of the indicator is visible via the channel. The indicator is engaged with the indicator transmission such that movement of the indicator transmission causes the indicator to selectively align with the indicia to thereby indicate the current size of the door closer.
Tailgate lift assembly and related apparatus
An assembly for assisting in lifting a tailgate includes an elongated housing extending along a predetermined length, a spring anchored at one end at a first end of the housing, and a connector having a first end affixed to the opposite end of the spring and extending through the housing. In one embodiment, at least three rollers are provided for engaging the connector. The rollers may be arranged in a variety of configurations to maintain the connector and spring in a generally centered location within the housing. In another embodiment, at least two vertically aligned guides are provided. A vehicle for integrating the foregoing assemblies is also provided.
Staged load amplified power closure system
A closure assembly includes a housing, a sensor, a door, and a primary actuator. The sensor is disposed within the housing. The door is supported by the housing and is movable between a closed position and an open position. The sensor is exposed when the door is in the open position. The primary actuator is operable to (i) apply a first force on the door to move the door from the closed position to the open position and (ii) apply a second force on the door to move the door from the closed position to the open position when the first force does not move the door into the open position.
MOTORIZED ACTUATOR AND MOVABLE BARRIER PROVIDED WITH SAID ACTUATOR, PARTICULARLY SUITABLE FOR AUXILIARY OR EMERGENCY DRIVES
The motorized drive according to the application is particularly suitable for auxiliary or emergency drives and is configured to open or close a wing of a barrier such as a door. The motorized drive includes a motor and a reduction unit through which the motor can open or close the wing, an auxiliary motor including a helical spring which is able to absorb mechanical energy during the opening of the wing and release it during the closing of the same, a reduction unit connecting the auxiliary motor to the wing. A first and a second toothed profile realize a gear with a variable transmission ratio. The first and/or the second toothed profile form at least one toothing having a pitch profile which is substantially non-circular or not formed by a simple arc of a circle or a straight line.
