Versatile Door Systems for Vehicles
A versatile door system for a vehicle having a frame with an opening. The door system includes a door assembly including a hingeable door and a slidable door. The hingeable door is hingeably coupled to the frame proximate the opening. The slidable door is slidably coupled to the hingeable door. A rail system includes a segmented upper rail having a first portion coupled to the frame and a second portion formed on an exterior side of the hingeable door. The slidable door includes a slider bearing configured to sequentially engage the first and second portions of the segmented upper rail along a path of travel of the slidable door. In a closed configuration, the hingeable door and the slidable door are securably disposed within the opening. The hingeable door and the slidable door are configured to collectively provide access to selectable portions of the opening.
Lid lifting device
An apparatus and method for easily and simply lifting and holding upon a heavy cumbersome lids, such as those found on large trash containers thereby allowing the user the use of both hands for hoisting and dumping the trash without having to hold open the lid with one hand or other body part. Furthermore, the use of an external device to lift and hold open the lid makes it easier to keep the task hygienic.
Truck load bed with side opening gull wing doors
An enclosure for protecting a load comprises a truck bed to hold items, a front wall affixed to a proximal end of a width of the truck bed, and a rear wall affixed to a distal end of the width. A main header member runs along the length of the truck bed connecting the rear and front walls to form a central mounting point along a length of the truck bed that is disposed at a maximum height of the rear wall and the front wall. A passenger side gull wing door and a driver side gull wing door are mounted to the main header member by a plurality of hinges affixed to the main header member and which provide a movable joint for the gull wing doors. One or more hydraulic lift cylinders are operative to raise and lower a respective gull wing door.
GATE OPENING AND CLOSING ASSISTANCE DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A gate opening and closing assistance device for a vehicle includes: a gas lifter including a cylinder filled with a compressible material, and a cylinder rod inserted into the cylinder to slide relative to the cylinder by compression or expansion of the compressible material; an inner housing which extends in a direction in which the cylinder rod extends, has one end coupled to one end of the cylinder rod to be slid together according to the sliding of the cylinder rod, and has an inner circumferential surface in contact with the cylinder while surrounding the gas lifter from the outside; and an outer housing which extends in a direction in which the cylinder extends, has a first end coupled to one end of the cylinder, has a second end through which the inner housing inserted, and surrounds a portion or the whole of the inner housing.
FURNITURE COMPONENT AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING
A furniture component and method of manufacturing the same, the furniture component having a wall with at least two opposite side faces and a multitude of front faces. On the wall between the side faces, a takeup space is configured which accommodates a set of fittings for guiding a movable furniture element. The set of fittings includes a multitude of fitting components and can be transferred to at least two positions. The takeup space includes aperture sections in at least two front faces of the wall, where the takeup space is outwardly open. The set of fittings is configured and set up such that during transfer of the set of fittings from the first position to the second position, the set of fittings moves at least in the aperture sections in the at least two front faces.
Structural features for coating
A vehicle mechanism is provided. The vehicle mechanism may include a stationary member including a main portion provided with an offset surface region including a bearing-surface region having non-planar regions. The mechanism may also include a moveable member that may be configured to move with respect to the stationary member. The moveable member may include a mating-bearing-surface region that may be configured to engage the bearing-surface region of the stationary member. A coating may be provided on the main portion and the bearing-surface region. The coating on the main portion may have a first thickness and the coating on the bearing-surface region may have a second thickness. The second thickness may be least 20% greater than the first thickness.
LIFTING APPARATUS
A lifting apparatus (100) includes a connector assembly (110) with a first connecting member (120), a second connecting member (130) and a connecting link (140), the first and second connecting members (120, 130) configured to be pivot-mounted at first ends (122, 132) to a first stationary component (200), and a pneumatic supporting member (150) is coupled to the first and second connecting members (120, 130) via the connecting link (140). The connector assembly (110) and the pneumatic supporting member (150) are configured to perform a lifting motion, wherein, when performing the lifting motion, the first and second connecting members (120, 130) transition from a first position (P1) to a second position (P2) and the pneumatic supporting member (150) transitions from an extended position (EP) to a compressed position (CP).
Lift assembly and spa including the same
A lift assembly for a spa cover is disclosed. The spa cover is for covering an open upper end of a spa. The lift assembly includes a lever arm having a first portion for supporting a spa cover, and a first end for pivotable coupling to a sidewall of a spa for rotation of the lever arm between a closed position in which the spa cover rests on the upper end of the spa, and an open position in which the spa cover is displaced from the upper end of the spa. The lift assembly also includes a resilient spring having a first end coupled to the lever arm, and a second end for coupling to the sidewall of the spa. In the open position of the lever arm, the spring urges the lever arm to rotate toward the closed position. A spa including the lift assembly is also disclosed.

A vehicle comprising a plurality of walls defining a volume adapted to house passengers and/or merchandise and at least one electric battery pack to supply energy for the operation of the vehicle, said at least one electric battery pack being housed in a respective seat made in at least one of the walls and defining with the latter a housing volume comprising at least one cover configured to assume a first operating position in which the volume communicates with the outside environment and a second operating position in which the volume is isolated from the outside environment; the vehicle comprising security means configured to enable the covers to move from the first operating position to the second operating position when a temperature of the electric battery pack and/or a temperature inside the volume exceed/s a pre-set threshold temperature value.
ARTICULATING HINGE ASSEMBLY FOR USE WITH A GAMING MACHINE CABINET
An electronic gaming machine that includes a cabinet, a display, and a hinge assembly coupled therebetween. The hinge assembly includes a first bracket coupled to the cabinet, a second bracket coupled to the display, and at least four pairs of interdigitated members extending between the first bracket and the second bracket. The hinge assembly is selectively expandable and retractable between a retracted position and an expanded position, and the hinge assembly is configured to swing the display from a lowered position to a raised position as the hinge assembly is expanded from the retracted position to the expanded position.
